  1. George Savile? At least that would be an acutal DM.
  2. We really should have bought him last season, where he would have cost way less and therefroe less pressure to performe.
  3. I say fuck it, give George Saville a go. Rather have someone who can anchor the midfield despite being a kid then having Oscar and Lampard, which could easily see the midfield go in a free fall.
  4. i think its the case that RDM and oher coaches did not like him in terms of attitude or what he brings to the team (ever since he came to the club there hae been the odd report that fellow players and coaches have taken him aside asking him to be more humble in training) and along with injuries has limited his time on the pitch. Not becuase of some conspiacy to keep Torres happy as some keep preaching about. I just don't see how his chances of being the main striker will improve at Liverpool
  5. Most people were saying that about Lampard... so far hasn't worked out. Hopefully it will be different due to still being at least the player he was a couple of years ago and a better organizer of the defense.
  6. Should have gone and whacked them in the head aswell.
  7. Two, that's all the positives we could possible extract from this. Everything else, utter dogshite. Unbelievable some people think he should be a first team regular with the team based around him.
  8. Really should have started, so at least we had someone who could try and get a foothold in the midfield, we were getting completely over run with Lampard and Ramires looking like lost ducks.
  9. What did he do to actually get sent off? Capped of a horrendous performance.
  10. Ah, Frank Lampard's "experience" and "leadership" really improved the team, it was like his mere presence in the field enlightened everyone else and got everyone playing better, just like in the Super Cup. Of course not, he did absolutely fuck all.
  11. Does this guy have an extreme form of Schizophrenia?
  12. As soon as I saw the double pivot of Lampard and Ramires I knew we would have problems. Mata, Torres and Moses were shit. Lampard did hardly anything... so much for experience and leadership that everyone kept banging on about, did absolute fuck all
  13. That midfield is about as strong and stable as jelly.
  14. We are missing Mikel, someone to stay and get a hold in the midfield.
  15. Lampard and Ramires are really having an uncomfortable first half.
  16. But if we can't get control of the pitch because the midfield has become so diluted then we could be in big trouble. All it takes is for their forwards to have a good day and us unable to get a shot on goal to lose.
  17. He is not going to do that, expect to see him to he make runs every time we get the ball in their half, and possible see the midfield become completely overrun like the Super Cup.
  18. "Kalou will get better," he said. "He is used to playing off the bench at Chelsea." Sorry, but I pissed myself laughing when I read that. That's quite a low blow IMO.
  19. Are they on wages of over £100,000? In fact some argue that United have suffered the last couple of years for being a bit too reliant on them (i.e asking Scholes to come out of retirement)
  20. Then again I seem to remember as soon as RDM dropped him we looked much more in control of the games for a couple of months and got some important victories away to Arsenal and Spurs without him. He can score the winner today and I will still be far from convinced that he should be a first team regular again and will make us PL title contenders again this season, so year the club have bottle it. Are fans every going to try and imagine a team without him (it will have to happen eventually unless the club plan to keep him until he is 50) our our we going to have this bad mentality that we will never achieve anything after he has left, because then we are fucked judging by some of things fan say.
  21. Of course its bad financially. Considering we will lose a lot of revenue now that we are knocked out of the Cl and have the new financial rules to contend with (as well as needing to again change our wage structure since we are paying god knows how much money to Torres and Hazard), paying someone (and I don't care if it was Zidane coming out of retirement) who is 34 and is clearly on the decline is flipping ridiculous. And the "leadership" card is being played again likes the fucking goddamn key to enlightenment. I'm sorry but that's NOT is not good enough to continue paying massive, massive wages to a player who is 34, much more injury prone and is not even the half the player he once was. Face it, Chelsea have bottle it to stop a few fanatics bawling like a baby.
