  1. Community shield and the Super Cup spring to mind. I think in the latter he was caught way out of position for at least two of the goals.
  2. But at RB he has not been great this season. With Cesar there has been just one game where he looked dodgy, apart from that he has been excellent defensively.
  3. Ivanovic cost us a trophy with his casual attitude and making mistakes like he had just smoked 20 pounds of weed before the match. Yet some people either want him to partner Terry or go back to RB and replace the much better performing Cesar.
  4. Ivanovic had one of the most casual stances I have ever seen, sure Torres was no hard worker but Ivanovic played like he was stoned. Should be docked wages.
  5. Should be shoved into the reserves for the next month and have his wages docked. Absolutely disgraceful, not just the mistakes, but the casual style he took on the pitch
  6. Dominate the game and a stupid mistake costs us.
  7. This whole Lampard to United crap came when Wilkins kept gobbing out about how United should sign him, I will not be surprised if all the media speculation came because of that.
  8. But it looks like (if the AVB issue is the case (or partly) for Lampard leaving) that Roman wants to get rid of the powerhouse clique and make it easier for a new manager in the summer to put his own method in the team 9especially if he has to invest a lot of money to get such as Klopp). Its understandable that Roman does no want another situation where the manager is at friction with older players because they are not doing what they want him to do 9such as not putting them in their plans and seeing them as squad players only).
  9. Wouldn't you be a bit miffed that a very expensive payment that was personally invested (£13 million pounds just to sign him if I'm correct) goes quickly down the drain because a couple of your players (who you are also paying money on a weekly basis) did not want to work with him?
  10. I don't know why some people are getting icky about this, he probably is there to boost depth and gv=ive us options in squad rotation, as long as the price is cheap.
  11. Followed in two months by another article saying "maybe the club will do a U-turn", I wish the club will go public if they are letting him leave.
  12. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/9783772/Chelsea-have-no-intention-of-opening-contract-talks-with-Frank-Lampard-in-the-immediate-future.html If it is the case that Roman has no plan to get Lampard on a new contract, then why the hell does he not make it public. Just say he is leaving in the summer, get over it and it might tone down the media circus.
  13. Does anyone have a gif. of that fantastic save he made yesterday? It may have been a double save as well.
  14. How much do you reckon England will regret not getting him to commit to the national team?
  15. If the club are not interested in keeping Frank for another season, I just want them to publicly announce that his contract will not be renewed, even if it means a huge backlash from fans in Stamford Bridge, I just want this media circus to die down (or at least as best as they possibly can, considering how every Chelsea article will probably make at least one small comment on how crazy Chelsea are).
  16. In a way all 3 like to play of the shoulders of defenders and/or in spaces between where they have room to shoot. I don't think any of them are pure target men who like to have their back towards defenders and try and out muscle them like Drogba.
  17. But the problem is will Lampard be willing to have a squad role. Under AVB it seemed he didn't I mean Rafa seems to start him whenever possible and even when on the bench he keeps getting at least 30 minutes. I guess it will all depend on whether he wants to take a pay cut. If he doesn't (or the board keeps the wages he is on0 then the signs suggest no.
  18. Judging from what I could hear, there were already 3 different types of chants for Demba Ba. And not one using Ba ba black sheep!
  19. People thought about that with Raul and Real Madrid, still let him go when he was 33/34. Again, the club should not be bending backwards to keep him. If they offer him a one year one year contract on reduced wages, then fine, but offering him two years or the same wages is risky and comes across as giving in to media and fan pressure, a sing of weakness for future players.
  20. Is he just an attacking midfielder or can he play deeper?
  21. Then you basically have made him bigger then the club, a big no no (for any player) in my book.
  22. Look, my final stance is a one year contract on reduced wages (£60,000-£80,000). But if what the Mail is reporting is true then its absolutely ridiculous. And with some fans yapping that we have to keep Lampard at all cost means they basically see him as bigger then the club, one of the biggest rules on how to not run a football club. But what is absolutely pissing me of is the whole media coverage. Ever since the thought came that Chelsea may not keep Lampard they've been acting like the crime of the century has been committed. Its been wall to wall coverage on how Chelsea is wrong and how Chelsea is crazy, like we've been closing down 6 orphanages while burning money London Great Ormond street hospital. I mean for fucks sake the ITV highlights spent 60% discussing about him, when he only played 30 minutes and scored when the game wass well and truly over. When Madrid let Raul and Guti leave, was there anywhere near the amount of commotion in the Spanish media like today? I honestly wonder if Lampard is paying these journalist to print out this coverage. Circus does not begin how stupendous and overblown this coverage has been, more like a drug induced calamity.
