Ever considered we should have signed him before he signed a new contract and have you considered he is a Chelsea fan? What part of my post that states we should have signed him last season did you not understand?

As pointed out by many on here before yesterday ,Shaw should already be a Chelsea player ,amongst the reasons why are ,his age,his class,he is English and most important he is Chelsea ,our scouts should have already acted on this after his performances against us last season ,forget Rooney if I could have one before the window closes it would be this boy,he is going to be the best left back in the world and that is where we want to be as a club,an obvious transfer target for us and difficult to understand why he is not already a Chelsea player.

Shhh,lets keep quiet about this kid and let the thread rest at the bottom. Oh sh1t I have just put it back at the top . From what I have seen I do not see him spending too much time in our youth or U/21 teams or out on loan ,put it that away.

Well he is obviously getting a season with Mourinho hence the one last chance ,I doubt he will ever be the player we expected,his last chance is Jose ,can he work miracles ,probably not,but if anyone can it is Jose.

Jose is Torres last chance ,maybe he can relight the fire ,dont agree his link up play is good ,he is one thing, a goalscorer and at the moment he is not scoring in the big games,can never fault him for effort though because he is giving everything,the suspicion though is that he has lost a yard in pace and half a second in sharpness and he will never be as good as he was,he needs quicker service to be seen at his best and maybe Jose's counter attack football will help him ,i hope so.

Could never understand all those who said "he went down to easily" believe me when you are playing up front on your own with your back to goal you are being kicked constantly and going down is the only way to not get injured and be on the treatment table all the time . The Drog was in the top 5 Chelsea players ever and the second best forward ever to play for the club, he was Chelsea and is a legend.

Jose knows class when he sees it ,just so pleased to have him back and his appreciation of Lampard is testimony too his judgement as a manager ,best player in the world?,yes Lampard was that good at that time. It nearly killed me when the waiter in his first press conference announced that " the club would not be giving Lampard a new deal" and "he was free to find another club". As opposed to Mourinho's quote " I look at the player not the birth certificate and the player is the same".

It's proper business practice to have any asset (which Mikel still is) tied down so we can't lose him on a free. The idea that Emenalo gave him a contract for any other reason is downright offensive to be quite honest. Maybe that's why he secured the signing of Lukaku though, because they're both black right? Sorry but I judge a player on what he does on the pitch and Makelele and Drogba are in my top ten ,five in Drogba's case Chelsea players of all time and in my view he should still be at the club. Mikel wouldnt be in my bottom ten but I watched Chelsea in the seventies and did not rate Cannoville either (if one is allowed to say that) . Mikel was awarded his contract between managers and the waiter announced in his first press conference that "Mikel has been given a 4 year contract by the club" in the same conference the waiter announced that "Lampard would not be getting a new contract" a fckn disgrace and an asset is only an asset if you can see value on the pitch or be able to cash in on the asset and I dont see too many bidding for Mikel . And yes I would like to know who was awarding contracts to players at this time ,because you may have noticed Lampard has signed a new deal and Mikel seems to be on the bench under Mourinho so far. Emenalo needs to stick to scouting players and Jose should be deciding which players are playing well enough to be awarded contracts.

He will enjoy it there he can be even lazier and pick up his money for four years courtesy of the mug who gave him a four year contract between Di Matteo getting sacked and the Waiter taking over ,I will leave you to make your own mind up as to who decided he should get a 4 year deal?????

Mikel was terrible at Tottenham to let them get 2-1 up his defending was dreadful and he sat far to deep as usual,make no mistake MaZaCar got us the win there . And the top three play well despite Mikel not because of him and dont worry Jose knows this .......watch this space and be prepared to eat your words. At Utd he just sat Luiz really pushed on and did what Slobi should have been doing ,Hazard also turned it on ,Mikel did little and that is better than he usually does,the good news is we now have players to replace him and the myth will die.

Regarding signing someone else if we do not get Rooney ,Jose was adamant that it was Rooney or nobody and when he makes bold statements like that to the press he usually means it ,I think that if we do not get Rooney it will be nobody and I dont think we will get Rooney.

I am sure JT will be here next season on a one year deal ,just as Lamps and Ash are ,Mourinho looks at the player not the birth certificate and without England to worry about JT is sure to be leading from the front again,he will be determined to have a good season and is class.

Whatever ,so he is slow and has no stamina because he has no drive and is lazy ,either way he has never shown me he is a decent athlete maybe it is hidden but after seven years I have given up .

The thought of Mikel playing any further forward is laughable ,can you imagine him trying to recover his position ,he is so slow and on top of that has no stamina,he is a static holding midfielder and a poor one at that ,all this talk of him playing further forward is surely a joke? For instance have you ever seen him shoot and compare that with Lampard's shooting prowess or Ramires stamina or Makelele's positional awareness? There is a reason why we tried to convert him to a holding midfielder and that was he is a poor attacking midfielder and the other reason he has played under so many managers is ,they were not always picking the team and were trying to please Roman and Emenalo ,this has finished with the return of Jose as will be revealed soon.

Eto'o are we being serious? Come back Didier ,here we have someone who is maybe 35? but he is a young 35 in terms of legs if we want Eto'o ,I would rather see Didier return for a season.

30 million should be our maximum bid ,we hold all the cards,Rooney is desperate to escape from OT and seeing him stay there would damage their team spirit and Moyes ,keeping an England player unhappy in a world cup year will see the press crucify Utd. I would like to see us go with what we have untill Xmas and then see where we are ,Rooney will still be available to us at this point and Lukaku ,Torres and Ba will have had their chances with the business end of the season still ahead and time to buy in the Xmas window. Whatever the outcome Jose will have done some damage for us and put pressure on Moyes before a ball has been kicked, as usual Mourinho is calling the shots on our behalf ,welcome home Jose we are going to have some fun.

The shoulder injury is not legit ,at the moment Moyes does not want Rooney anywhere near the first team sqaud ,even for Ferdinands testimonial ,make no mistake Rooney does not want to play for Man Utd .

I dont see it ,they would rather let Rooney rot in the ressies than sell to us.

Another day another goal from Lampard, I have a feeling Jose will be using Frankie in all the big matches ,wonderful talent to be able to score so many goals from midfield as well as working as hard as any other midfielder at the club bar Ramires. Expect Lampard to still be at Chelsea next season ,before he will use his experience in the pivot ,that is another three seasons before we talk about a coaching role at the club,legends are made not born and Jose knows this,unlike the waiter ,who had to ultimately rely on Lampard to win the Europa League and gain our champions league place,after initially saying Lampard would be free to leave Chelsea in his first press conference.

Fergie cant say anything ,Jose knows how to handle him, I will never ever forget Fergie in the 4th officials ear in the Champions League ,only to look up and realise Modric was not only on the pitch but had just scored Fergie knows where he stands with Jose and if Fergie does get involved you can imagine Jose having a quip for that as well ,something along the lines of " If you want to be the manager ,come out of retirement because I want to mug you off again"

Jose has played this one like the king poker player ,we cant lose and Jose knows this. 1. If Rooney comes we have signed one of the best English players still in his prime ,who is determined to sign for us in pereference to Man Utd for a reasonable fee and we should bid no more than 25 million,because of the players determination to escape his hell and unhapiness at Old Trafford. 2. Rooney stays at Old Trafford and is a negative influence at the club on massive wages, turned on by the crowd and whose presence in the dressing room will cause even more trouble for Moyes. This is what Jose is so good at and what marks him out as special .
