As long as people on here keep on informing us on how good Mikel is and are signed up memebers of his fan club because you think he is "cool" you need to be reminded of his awful performances and lack of ability on a football pitch. Jose appears to have cottoned on and one day some of you might. There is no vendetta as you put it ,just a knowledge on a footballer who is not good enough for Chelsea,the same statements "about how sh1t he is " are still applicable. The notion that he should be in the team instead of Lampard is the greatest crime spoken on here ,so get upset about that if you must , as one is class and is brilliant for Chelsea and Mikel is not ,that is why I keep on about it,luckily I have Jose in my corner,picking Lampard and leaving Mikel out. And I fully back our special manager on this . I have said we were not able to get rid and so I Mourinho can improve him ,but I doubt he can,part of any supporters forum has a duty to out players not up to standard, ,stealing a living and this has gone on too long at Chelsea .

Lets be honest he has been awful and his confidence has gone ,but I believe there is still a chance Jose can bring Nando back to life and I think Nando needs us to play higher up the pitch and press ,he needs quick ball ,he maybe best when we are countering unlike the Drog who could hold three defenders off on his own . The Munich goal was classic quick counter and a first time finish with good movement ,I believe Jose can spark him back to life and I hope so.

I have that feeling as well Bleed Blue ,but he is still a Chelsea player so I am hoping Jose will get more out of him when he plays ,the same goes for Torres who I believe could really benefit from having Jose as his coach.

and it is very important to have a settled back 5 inc keeper ,having the two midfielders as certain starters will also benefit us in terms of understanding and defending,as the season progresses this defensive unit will get better and better ,this does not mean we will be sitting back either we will be playing a higher line and pressing.

I can name our certain starters ............................ Cech Ivanovich Terry Cole Ramires Lampard Hazard The rest would be guessing ,but injuries aside these players will be starting for Chelsea v Everton and you need a team that has certain starters when fit ,the spine if you like and these players are our spine and the manager will always have this spine in mind as his first choice . Jose will always have these seven pencilled in as his first choice line up.

I fail to see how my post can be considered aggressive and after seven years of watching Mikel diplomacy is out of the window . I have very strong opinions on his ability and his worth to Chelsea and I want to see the back of him for the good of the club and am hopeful Jose has him sussed . It would seem a lot on here do not agree with Jose's decision to bench him ,I do ,so you could say I am backing our managers judgement.

Yes but can you not understand the point of the post? on us countering as in the first goal v Bayern where we were very quick in moving the ball and caught them,virtually impossible with the unmentionable in the team.

I find it very funny to see so many questioning "the special one" and his team selection ,some of them seem to be agreeing with the way the waiter was picking the team. with regard to certain selections , just to remind Jose is a special manager because he gets most things right and that is why he is back,his team selection so far has been first class and so have the results ,back him and we will be successful for a decade ,question his decisions and we will not.

How well does Jose know Lampard ? And we know he has identified the role for Ramires you dont think he will drop it after four games and our very good start ,do you?

Our counter attack in this match was superb and often inc the first goal where we scored after quick passing from back to front ,this was difficult last season with the way the waiter set us up and in particular feeding the ball through midfield when Mikel was in there ,this season we have been like lightning on the counter and Jose will look to ply like this. Sideways and backwards balls and several touches do not help us when we are looking to counter .

Jose has obviously studied this posiotion and he has got it perfectly right as you would expect . Rammy /Lampard by far our best ,have we been terrible this season or something for them not to play at Everton as they will . Jos does not fancy Luiz in there apparently ,I do and would have as next best,followed by Van Ginkel and Essien. But in summing up Jose has got this spot on and the pairing we have now is obviously first choice for the season ,with Rammy growing in the role Jose has identified for him.

He is in a fight with Oscar for the Number 10 role in my opinion as when he is played in wider areas he suffers from being too reliant on his left foot .

Those stats do not count or the ones that show how poor our record is when we play ,the only stats that count are where he stands on the pitch . The most telling stat we can see at the moment is the stat that shows him sitting in his fat arse on the bench and is about time people started backing Mourinho on this as we were all told that a number of managers could not be wrong when they picked Mikel ,well Jose is not picking him.

It is because he is comfortable on both wings if you find that hard to comprehend I will leave it at that as I have already pointed that out. Mata is in a fight with Oscar for the no 10 role in my opinion as he cant play wide right ,he is not comfortable there as he cant play off of both feet .

No Mata's right foot is for standing on it is very weak and he cant play off of it ,he is all left foot ,part of the reson when he plays wide he cant get in the game and why he is not in the team at the moment.

Jose has got this dead right Rammy and Lampard are a great pairing and will prove that this season,about time we started backing our special manager and not thinking we know better,after all that is why Mourinho is the best in the world at managing football clubs and we are not . Amazed at how many people think they know better and now is the time to back the manager and not question him. Ramires and Lampard is our first choice midfield pairing this season whether we like it or not and it is up there with the best in European football. Ramires has great energy and tackling power and Lampard is class,team selection in the first four games has already told us who is our best midfield pairing .

He can play left or right or down the middle that means he is comfortable on both sides as opposed to Mata who is all left peg . So I would call him two footed.

No problem , Jose knows that Lampard has the class to play in the pivot ,a lot of people do not realise his game is more than just goals ,although they are the most important thing in football. Lampard is a class act he can play the pivot with his eyes closed he can pass ,tackle ,run and he is tactically aware and most important he is a winner,players like him are very rare ,he is a fitness freak and he is a very clever footballer ,like Giggs at Utd (who plays today at the age of 40). Those managers and whoever was picking the team recently were wrong and Jose is right ,that is why he is special and he knows how good Lampard is . You do know who wanted Lampard if he was leaving Chelsea last season? -- Alex Ferguson to play in the Scholes role for Utd. Jose was never going to let that happen.

Not only is Petr still a great keeper ,but he is also a leader in the dressing room ,when the going gets tough etc... Petr knows how to ride the storms and pulls others through with him,gives us much more than we see on the pitch and a keeper reaches his peak at 32 . Courtois is also a great keeper but how do you replace Petr when he is still performing so well? and I do not want to lose Courtois.

Like him very much so far ,two footed and versatile ,strong and competitive ,love the way he can turn inside on to his other foot and shoot or go down the line ,we seem to be buying a lot of this type De Byrne and Hazard are the same ,very good to see .

WORLD CLASS So pleased he is ours because players like him are very difficult to bring to your club ,we should be looking to be getting the ball to him all the time ,like Messi at Barca and when he is not available he will have taken two or three defenders out of the game who are trying to mark him ,a rare talent.
