If you are good enough you are old enough for Mourinho . If Traore or anyone else is good enough they will play for Chelsea.

Put it this way ,it is very good day for someone who has a great shot and also a great day for Ramires, Terry and Cahill ,today is all about attitude,fight and a will to win at any cost. Hopefully Southampton will not fancy it and their manager will not adapt to the situation and conditions ,would not be surprised to see the game called off if this weather continues. Yes Lampard is a massive miss .

This boy may not need to go out on loan ,if you are good enough you are old enough. And he looked more than good enough and took his chance when it came around in pre season when he looked at home in the team,indeed he shone,I expect to see him in our first team squad very soon . No surprise to me that Chelsea made this the first signing of the transfer window and that in itself tells you how highly this player is rated .

Lampard did not sit as deep as Mikel does ,Luiz and Lampard both squeezed the play and neither just sat ,graphic evidence was the Lamaprd shot which nearly eqaulised ,have you ever seen Mikel as high up the pitch as that? no way Lampard sat ,if you had to press me Luiz played deeper in the first half this allowed us to take the game to Liverpool ,when Mikel came on the emphasis shifted and Luiz's game suffered and Liverpool put us under pressure,we were deep and that is when Liverpool nearly equalised .

You stick to admiring the JuventusandLIVERPOOL midfields I will take the Chelsea one that won evey European Trophy there was to win,with Lampard at the heart of it and still at the heart of it ,no problem with your view.

And what about the Suarez push on Ramires for their goal last season at Stamford Bridge and the disgraceful bite on Ivanovich that was the act of an animal and Suarez even then pretended to be injured and was not sent off ,before scoring the equaliser after the added on time had elapsed. It is in their DNA ,one posters avitar on here sums them up perfectly - Liverpool FC Ashamed of nothing - Offended by Everything .

Jose is like a hawk ,he misses nothing and all these little things add up . All these so called pundits like to have their little digs at Chelsea and some of them will even praise players that they know are not good enough for Chelsea who play for us ,none of it escapes Mourinho ,he is wise to it all and nothing gets past him . He does not win trophies everywhere he manages by luck . Now he has planted the thought in every referees mind that these pundits are biased and their comments are not without prejudice against Chelsea,it is all part of his management method . Yellow card Suarez (diving) and Penalty Hazard ,now whose opinion counts for more a pundit or the multiple trophy winning manager who tamed Fergie?

We are Chelsea not Tottenham or Arsenal ,we do not sell our best players to anyone .

Fact. Luiz the latest partner to suffer when Mikel just sits and lets his partner do all the work the diffrenece between Luiz in two halves was graphic . 95% pass success rate no doubt ,even with the flu everything was backwards and yes Sakho was the latest player he lost while ball watching .

Only two pundits get my respect ,Hoddle and Souness,both understand the game and speak without bias and whose views are worth listening to. A lot of them are fearful of Mourinho and what he will achieve at Chelsea ,the good thing is Mourinho will not let any of them take the p1ss out of Chelsea and he will always be one step ahead of them,yesterday was a great example of that . Ah so EVERYTHING does not include the most precious commodity in football ,GOALS. Over the decade Lampard and Iniesta were the two best ,Iniesta was the best player and Lampard was the best goalscoring midfielder with EVERYTHING inc. the goals . The Makelele,Essien,Lampard three was up there with the Barca midfield and the results between the two proved that (the Norwegian ref aside). Any midfielder who is considered to have EVERYTHING has to score GOALS and Lampard is second to none on that SCORE against all the best teams in all the finest stadiums home and away in the world and dont be antagonised at all when the new contract is signed ,that statement is not to antagonise it is a FACT .

You say you prefer two all round midfielders who can do EVERYTHING ,but EVERYTHING includes scoring and none score as many from midfield as Lampard. And scoring is the most important thing in football ,I would argue that Lampard is one of the only midfielders in the game that can do EVERYTHNG. And as his perfromance showed yesterday where he did everything but score (nearly) ,but he did everything else and bossed the midfield. The new contract will be signed soon.

That is down to Mikel ,not Lampard.

Never a penalty only for the victims , Suarez lost the ball to Azpilecueta and Eto'o came across him and he did what he always does DIVE . Now the Hazard one was a pen he had the ball was past the defender who made no contact with the ball but plenty with Hazard ,Jose got that right as well.

I like him in there ,much better than Mikel and he suffered in the second half when paired with Mikel and he lost it a bit near the end when he had a rush of blood again and started kicking the ball anywhere,but he was class and proactive especially when paired with Lampard ,I never argue with Mourinho becauce he is nearly always right ,but for me Luiz is very good in a midfield two where his anticipation and flair is better used at this moment in his career at Chelsea.

Can we stop the nonsense on Cahill now?

This boy is extra special and when Jose builds a team around him he will be even better ,much more to come from him and Jose will make sure his talent is not wasted.

Did well ,his focus should be , we need to keep a clean sheet today or concede just one ,not I want to nick balls that are 50/50 or beat a player and hit a 50 yard pass or score from a 30 yard free kick . I feel that once he focuses on basic defending and playing the percentages his natural ability will come through with the confidence not conceding silly goals will bring,even stay off freekicks for a bit and just concentrate on defending,make it the priority not all the flash stuff as that will come off once the defending is right . I think we saw the start of that yesterday ,Jose will sort him out and make him the player he should be , I am confident that will happen for Chelsea .

You need to watch the Sunderland game again ,the goals we conceded were down to Mikel and Luiz losing the players they were marking ,hence Jose choosing Cahill for the Arsenal game and not Luiz ,you see Mourinho picks the team on what actually happens on the pitch ,not on what you imagine happens.
