We have dominated that game so far but look a little short when we get around their box with no link from midfield . Those who want Cech pensioned off are knee jerkers. Mikel is not needed in this game as Stoke are giving us posession and we need to be quicker with it and we need some quality link play with Hazard/Mata/Torres ,I am sure Jose will do the sensible thing at H/T and their is no way we do not win this game with the right change.

I will only judge him again when he gets the chance to play, at the moment he is still as good as his last performances and I hope he has been working hard in training and not acting the clown as this can translate to the match if you are not taking the game seriously and that includes training. He will play soon and needs to eradicate the careless errors in his game,every time I see him at Cobham he seems to be messing around and not taking it seriously. One would have hoped being droped when you were given every chance to be first choice would have woken him up and we see the player we all know is there soon.

The Sunderland goals were a bit lucky the other night deflections and the run of the ball,but with our new formation we will score more goals and we will let a few more in ,that is what Roman wants isnt it? We need to press win the ball high up the pitch and get early ball to the likes of Eden, this is what allowed Eden to play as he did against Sunderland the ball to him has been far too slow this season.

Yes just sitting back and isolating your partner slowing the game down and not protecting the back our is not what we need from midfield . Do not confuse just staying back and doing not much at all with discipline. What he did so well today was press and support our three AM's with great forward early passing and link play as well as score our very important equaliser.

I do agree he should be rested for Stoke a two day turn around at 35 it is too much and he suffered in Basle after being brilliant at West Ham ,but the altrernative leaves me feeling cold and will leave us vulnerable.
