Some hero story where he is the supero hero? No, this is real life, and this kind of things sadly happen in football. If you judge him on one kick of the ball rather then the season he had at West Brom, where he outscored all of the goalscorers of this club, then i am sorry then you expect too much in the wrong moment. He isn't going to be a superstar over night, without minutes or these moments, he will learn and grow as a person and a player.

i expect him to play against Everton, and from there it will surely be based on form and other factors. Seems like a quality player with a good amount of passing, dunno what other good attributes he has, but that alone is something to pin up against the partnership which has been used in the previous three. I guess Jose is being somewhat cautious in implementing the new boys into his new system or just trying to get a clearer view on who is best in the holding positions.

A nice short-term option, which surely will help bring more goals from the forwards. Expect Ba to go to Newcastle, and a sweet surprise that he came on free.

I want to add that this was a good game that showed how well our defence can be, somewhat reminiscent to the Second season of Jose, in which he might be able to get more clean sheets instead of high scoring games like the 4-2 Spuds game or that Arsenal game i can't the score of.

Wit this squad, the first games wasn't really the decisive games for me. We have a strong squad which has alot of players to be rotated and if used wisely, could get us wins on the road as well as at home. The fact that we played without a striker for the majority of the game, as well as an actual DMC and the God Mata but still able to earn a point means that we can go into the 'top four' games and salvage a point whilst rotating the players for the more lesser games to get the points. This squad SHOULD be able to win the league, and with Jose as a tactical minded person, that will help make it more of a reality.

Well that was a waste of time, could tell from the starting line-up that we weren't going to win, or look for one at least. Poor Lukaku, been superb in pre-season, looked great against Villa but still doesn't seem to get the nod ahead of Ba and Torres. Torres kept losing the ball everytime it was given to him, and we never really had the 'killer pass' or shot on goal, which really we could have had with someone like Mata on. Very good defensively, and Rooney played really well - still don't think he will leave Man United - hopefully we can actually play to our strengths against Bayern and win our first trophy of the season.
