Yeah that is, hopefully Carlo will have more then once chance like Grant or Scolari, i hope that he is the 'one' to be here for a long length of time. Roman needs to give more time for managers to get with the style of play of the EPL. And hopefully Carlo can look at our youth and see good players like footballers like Lampard and Terry can, hell if Carlo goes give the job to Lampard and someone else, something like co-managers, Lampard playing-manager the other tactical.

We have lost three youngsters already, an only one will go into first team, and that's still a year away. If there is more youngsters who leave this year, then we won't have youth players to bring up. It should be up to the manager to choose the most skillful and talented players in the youth squad which he thinks is going to fight for a first team chance in the squad.

Man this does explain some issues, but why don't we actually start using them early? And i also like the ending bit, something just not on topic at all. Pirlo looks set to be in a Chelsea shirt this season. I hope Di Santo hasn't actually gone on loan, especially after praise from Carlo himself.

Their has been some many greats, an to top that list is an honor that is astonishing. If Lampard carries on playing the way he has since he's been at the bridge, and then retires, he desrves to be atop of the list. He's already written history in the Chelsea books, i am one for sure to heope that the great acomplishments he has helped us with can go on futher. Probably as both player and hopefully one day a great manager. But at this moment of time, to me he is a working-class-legend that will one day become the best player we'll ever had, if he can keep up his good form. Hopefully, he can bring in more trophies with Chelsea with the season and the future ones. I love his style of play and his personality as a hard-working player who would do anything for Chelsea. And that alone shows loyalty, and a reason why he should be called one of the greats, and one day, the greatest.

I hope he get the odd game here and there and show us he still has the quality goal scoring abilities he had earlier in his career. He is such a hard worker, he deserves another chance when the time is right.

I agree with you. I would rather have Sneijder in, instead of a 30 year old who will be over-priced. At least Wesley is younger and can be played in midfield and as a back-up striker incase we need more attaking options in a game. Also, looks like Chelsea are trying to get rid of Pizzaro, guess that's a good sign for Sturridge and Di Santo (if the whole loan deal isn't gone through yet).

I am dissapointed if these rumours of Santo going to Blackburn is true. I was really excited about the whole thing as having a young keen striker in the shadows awaiting for his time to shine. I was hoping he could make his own this season, but nope! We could have used Di Santo and Sturridge up-front and actually use our youngsters.

Am i the only one wanting a Di Santo hat trick? Would just love it, that our a brace for both Sturridge and Santo.

I for one are also excited by the prospect of watching our lads thrashing reading, at 3pm
