Barcelona wont know what hit them.

Neymar would definitely improve our creativity ten fold.
-
An amazing half, he is such a special player, his every touch, his every movement, there is a meaning to it, here is a single player who rectifies all of our problems, pace, skill, creativity, can attract opposition players towrads him, intelligence, a mind blowing, utterly complete performance from such a young player, its easy to see why he is being compared to Ronaldo and Pele, here is Brazil's next great player.

Incredible, absolutely incredible play from Neymar with that assist for the goal.

When and have you got actual quotes? -
Im not exaggerating but Id much rather Rafa Benitez over Harry Redknapp.

Well said LDN, Roman has always acted in what he belives are the best interests of the club, have they always been correct? Probably not, personally I think he has gotten this decision absolutely spot on but thats a whole other matter. Instead lets be thankful that we have an owner willing to pay 6 million to get rid of a manager who he doesn't believe is good for his club and then on top of that spend more money on bringing a new manager in who he thinks will lead us into the long term, lets be thankful that we have an owner willing to spend 80 million on transfers in January and has the right people in place who can bring a big name like Fernando Torres to Chelsea, lets be thankful that he has the football knowledge to know that the current squad needs revamping and that is what he is likely to do in the Summer and lets be thankful that we have an owner willing to spend the cash to do that, lets make no mistake, Roman Abramovich is the main reason for our success these past few years and lets be very thankful for him, a better owner we couldn't hope to have.
-
I think he means as Chelsea fans we should get behind whoever the new manager is.
-
Anyone but Rijkaard.
-
Absolutely spot on. I couldn't have said it better.

Sorry mate but all of the curly hair refrences in the world dont hide Alex's mistakes, lets not forget it was his really awful pass under no pressure that led to Newcastle's freekick (from which they got the equaliser) and he was caught out a few times again today, for me he is too similar to Terry, at the back you need someone who will attack the ball (Terry) and someone to sweep (Luiz)
-
Abramovich does it again, never should his devotion to Chelsea be called into question. It would have been much easier and cheaper for him to bury his head in the sand, let Ancelotti se out his contract with another season and then simply not renew it, it would have cost him nothing but thats not Roman's way, he cares about the welfare of the club, he wants us to do well and he is willing to hand out millions in order to get the right man to lead us and to dispose of this incapable of doing so. I like Ancelotti, he is a good guy but it just wasn;t good enough this season or the previous season (in Europe), too many times we have looked blunt and inadequate and as coach, Ancelotti has paid the price for that today, lets hope this is the launching pad from which we can catapult into a new era, a new manager and a squad rebuilding in the Summer, for Chelsea, this is undoubtedly the right move and I applaud Roman and the board for taking such quick, decisive action.

I dont agree with the first point mate, I think the LuizTerry partnership looked better in the short time we saw it and I think Luiz has a lot more to his game than Alex, I like Alex but Luiz is a special player. I completely agree though with your second point, I like Carlo, I wanted him to succeed but it hasn't worked out, its been dreadful this season and performances like this have cropped up all too often during his reign in charge, its time for him to go.

Pathetic, absolutely pathetic. Could anybody actually imagine Beckford scoring that goal against Mourinho's Chelsea? Not in a million years. Pathetic from Ancelotti, Cork couldn't have said it better, nobody gets a chance, in our starting line up today there was 1 single player under the age of 25 (Mikel), thats unbelievable. Pathetic how he opted not for Luiz at the start or for Luiz when he took off Alex, his vendetta against Luiz continues. Pathetic at just how blunt our attack is, aside from Terry's shot that hit the post, did we actually create any real chances in that game? You could probably rattle off several genuine chances that Everton created, Im struggling to think of any that we did. Pathetic is the best way to describe the performances of Essien, Mikel and Malouda. Whoever is in charge next season (thank our lucky stars it wont be Carlo) must do something pretty dramatic to change this side, Frank Lampard cant start every game, Luiz must be the starting centre back, McEachran has got to play a lot more and Malouda, Anelka, Bosingwa and perhaps Zhirkov, Kalou and Mikel should all be sold and in their place a winger or 2 wingers and a creative player, a player who can run past someone, who can create something from nothing, I really dont care who it is once he fits that description. This season has been dreadful, that was an appropriate ending for it and Ancelotti.

That was bad, there is no other way to sum it up, its bad. Guys does anybody have a decent stream, if you do please, please, please post the link here cos mine is patchy at best.
-
Personally Id love it if we signed him. He is versatile (can play on the wing of a front 3) and has the skill, pace and trickery we have badly lacked this season, he has the ability to change a game in an instant, a very rare kind of player. I wouldn't even consider it a gamble, I think he would succeed wherever he goes, England or not but if it doesn;t work out for him at Chelsea he is young enuogh and popular enuogh so that he has resale value.
-
Even if he does it doesn't matter, the game is for nothing, might aswell start Torres give him a bit of confidence in starting the game and who knows, if he plays well and scores then he goes into the Summer with confidence. Rather than starting Drogba, a player who could be on his way out of the club in the Summer.
-
Just got next seasons home jersey with long sleeves, absolutely delighted, it really does shine, its probably our best home kit in a few years. Anyway my dilema now is who to get on the back, I already have a Torres one but maybe get him again? Or perhaps wait and see who we sign in the Summer. (fingers crossed for Neymar)
-
Id like to see Cech Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Bertrand Ramires, McEachran, Essien Benayoun, Torres, Kalou But I doubt Ancelotti will start McEachran, Bertrand or Benayoun at a place like Goodison.

That summed up the season, at times we were brilliant, in particular early on some of the flowing football we were playing was a joy to watch but then it all went pear shaped, bad mistake by Alex to give away the freekick which Newcastle got their equaliser from and though we dominated possession we really didn't create many scoring opportunities, took the lead late on and then threw it away in the last minute of extra time, pathetic. The big positive was Josh McEachran, this is a Chelsea side that since Mourinho first came in we have been used to a certain type of midfielder, work horses with big engines in midfield but not really much class, McEachran is the total opposite, the lad oozes class, some of his passing today was sublime, always looked to play the early ball forward and found Torres a few times, he still has to develop his overall game a bit and Im not entirely sure that he is a holding midfielder but I cant remember being this confident about one of our young players, undoubtedly he is the future of our club. Ramires and Benayoun did well, Benayoun faded a bit towards the end, Nic started brilliantly but also faded, Cole did very well and Drogba had a cracking 15 minute cameo. But of course the flaws remain, Ancelotti has now been managing this side 2 years and still we keep getting caught the same way, we give the ball away cheaply in midfield and straight away the opposition are in with 2 attackers against 2 defenders. This doesn't happen with any other club, where the hell are our full backs? Well I know that one, they are pushing up the pitch to provide width to our attack because our wingers aren't a viable threat out wide, get quick wingers, dont have the full backs push on as much and you kill 2 birds with 1 stone, we improve going forward and we have a better shape at the back. I said it last week and I'll say it again, Ancelotti has failed to instill discipline into this season, the marking from that corner late on was shocking, bloody awful. How has Steven Taylor got that much space in the 6 yard box? This isn't the first time this has happened either. The picture at the end of the game said it all, Roman Abramovich with his face in his hands looking pretty depressed, this is not the vision he has for Chelsea, this is not the way he wants his team playing and that is not the way champions see out games, running through his mind must have been a list of potential replacements for Ancelotti and as the game wore on the more names were added onto the list of who can do better than Ancelotti, the fat lady has sung, the curtain has dropped and the audience are filing out, the show is over for Ancelotti.
-
No disrespect to Jack Cork but he is hardly Kaka.
-
Well Im already a writer for this site but ye I will absolutely go about posting more articles from now on.
-
Surely Torres must start this one? A game where there is nothing on the line, with no pressure, its the perfect chance for him to get more experience playing with his new team mates, would love to see McEachran play but we all know thats not going to happen so as a compromise maybe a start for Benayoun?
-
Nah I dont agree with that mate, when we signed Deco he was well past it, he looked awful in his final year at Barcelona. Kaka on the other hand has really started to find his form the last couple of months, stunning performances against Valencia and Sevilla show that he still has a lot to give.
