He really needs to start passing the ball because I'm telling you right now Kakuta has already started simplifying his game and Kevin De Bruyne is probably one of the most unselfish young forward thinking players I have seen since an early 22 year old Kaka. He's going to face stiff competition next season from the 2 young players on loan.

Tomo stick around bud, I enjoy reading your posts !!!!

Best not quote it then !

What made me feel so glad was the reaction of the opposition supporters and players. This really shows that football is just a game and it should never be taken so seriously ! Everyone forgot about the game in fact hardly anyone knows what the score was I certainly don't know because football was 2nd for once among supporters.

I know what you mean Tom. They're going to have the crowd behind them shouting for them to push for the league and its very hard to beat a side with that type of need. We really need to get a CL place but that is not as great an incentive as a League title for a City side that are in their prime years like we were in 2004-2005 2005-2006. This is a weak Chelsea side that has had some fantastic results recently but they will probably lose this one. I just hope we don't get fucked 4-0 because that will really hurt.
-
We'll probably get hammered here. I'm sorry for being so negative but City are going for the league here and I can't see us beating them again. I really hope we do but they are going to throw the kitchen sink at us, I can just feel it.

Messi would shit all over Stoke's dignity.

Congratulations Artinho !

Yeah no one has ever denied that he has a very Inzaghi way of being in the right place in the penalty area. The thing is he can't for the life of him keep the ball and that is potentially fatal. I can't believe that he's been at Chelsea for 5 seasons now and he still can't control the ball, we have some of the best training facilities in the world. This guy needs to play in a 4-4-2 and he needs to play next to another striker and I believe he could probably get around 20 league goals playing in that type of set up.
-
He looked revived yesterday but then again look at the opposition. I don't think he should start against City because i would like to see Sturridge isolated against Clichy like he was against Enrique and Evra which lead to goals. Torres can come on for Drogba late in the game !
-
@Justin I really don't know where he would play in our team. His best position is clearly behind the striker but Mata is probably going to play there next season. He could play on the wing but he would have to be a tight forward, Stephane Mbia tried to tackle Kakuta and Kakuta put it through his legs I was laughing my head off. I was very impressed by his performance because Marseille are a Champions League side and they just knocked out Inter a few days ago. They are not a poor side and they really struggled to contain him.
-
I watched the game and Marseille dominated the whole game. They had 62% of the possession and they had double the shots on goal. Kakuta was really good though, at times he looked like he was on a different level to the rest of the 21 players on the pitch, Marseille couldn't deal with him.

Twitter is a big load of shit, people saying things like RIP Fabrice Muamba without having any proof at all its just sadistic. All these people talking about how they witnessed his last moments and stuff like that, I think Twitter should be restricted.
-
Watching him trying to fight to breath on the ground was horrible.

We'll win this tie. I'm very confident because I don't think Benfica will be under estimated, we know they're a good side but not as good as us. We should keep it tight in Portugal and smash them at the bridge, an away goal would be fantastic but not essential.

I agree lol we should be dodging English players at all costs. The English media and the Brazilian media are world class at overrating young players. We got a 20 year old Arjen Robben back in 2004 for 12 million pounds, that is what you call value for money not fucking 27 year old Stewart Downing for 20 million. There is a kid that plays for Feynoord by the name of Wijnaldum , he's a superb playmaker/winger he's got 2 wonderful feet and he's got pace. His style reminds me of Ronaldinho, the way he drops the shoulder and his brilliant ball control, he'll become a magnificent player in future. He shouldn't cost more then 10 million too as feynoord always sell young players for really cheap like Robben, Kuyt and Kalou. He's also fantastic in the air !
-
WHAT A POINT !!!! LOL HAHAHAHA
-
Exactly lol Torres is still fucking garbage.
-
Our priority should always be to get this lad in a one on one situation with defenders, he breezes past players 9/10. When we had Robben we used to isolate defenders against him because we knew he would beat the defender, the same is with Sturridge. He went past Enrique and Evra like they were not even there on route to goal. He went past the Napoli fullback so easily. The reason why he is becoming so deceptive is because he has worked hard on his right foot. He's not a team player though, even though he has 7 assists.
-
Ramires kept breaking up their counter attacks with his sliding tackles.
-
You know if we had lost this game, this topic would have 300 pages in it. I guess people just like bad news .
-
I was so proud of his work ethic yesterday. I agree with FrancoZola though, he didn't react to the result and he kind of just walked away like he was a Napoli player. I think its the fact that Drogba is 34 years old and he's still out competing him for a starting role, please do remember he was the best finisher in the world once upon a time and it can't be easy watching Didier still playing like a world beater at his age. People say things like '' well its a team game he should be happy for Didier'' sadly life does not work like that especially for strikers who compete on productivity.
-
Sam you don't understand mate, we are sooo over the moon because........ 1. We acknowledge that this is the last season for most of the old guard including Drogba who fought like a lion last night. Drogba and Co are well into their 30's now and its hard for them to consistently do what they did last night, especially Didier who has had a number of knee injuries. 2. This could be our last showing in the CL for at least a season if not more. Oh yeah by the way I would just like to thank Ashley Cole, he ultimately was the decider in this tie because he cleared it off the line in Italy. I think 4-1 would of been too big a mountain to reach psychologically.
