No way Conte or Mourinho would have backed down, terrible management. Put the board up , get willy on and send the lad down the tunnel, deal with it later. No good throwing a tantrum, you make that sub
I don't really know whos out there tbh. I felt like we could have built stability with Conte - if his relationship with the board had not soured., and they got some better wingbacks in and a striker.
didn't we spend £160m on Bakayoko, morata , drinkwater and zappacosta? could easily see us wasting it all again. I'd rather the ban was this summer so Hazard and Cho couldn't leave and we'd be forced to use youth
I guess, but he was 25 seconds and a penalty shootout away from being a 2x CL winner, I know you kinda have to get over the line but it dosen't lessen his quality as a manager for me. Especially when you consider he is managing a club that no one expected to be competing for the CL
why do commentators always act like the 0-0 favours the away team? puts you at the mercy of away goals, I remember being annoyed when they said we were in the driving seat after getting a 0-0 away to Atletico
I think kovacic is quality, just can't do a lot in this joke of a system, reckon he'd be class if we were still a counter attacking team, we got a glimpse of that vs liverpool for the opening goal
there is only 1 player who was here under AVB, we literally have a whole new squad, they can't all be spoiled players scheming to get coaches sacked.. Don't underestimate the debilitating effect a manger performing badly can have on the whole team. The Utd players were also terrible for mourinho and now they are doing well. That's just the reality of managers, they normally make or break a team.
