  1. James Rodriguez is going to cost like 30-40m. Monaco's future is Rodriguez. Don't think they will sell unless due to financial difficulties or they buy someone better.
  2. Different tactics.... Just because you play well on one setup, doesn't mean you would excel in another aka Juan mata. Luiz would be perfect for barcelona/Munich. However, I don't think Pep will buy another defender especially at Luiz's price. Munich have Boateng, martinez, holgen, kirkoff, and dante. PSG is possible since they like to overstock all their positions and have all the money in the world. Barca was probably the best situation since Barthra is still shakey at the back and they have no depth at all next season.
  3. David Luiz advert with Marcelo and Thiago Silva
  4. Well, the Belgians speak French as do a lot of areas in Canada and Africa.... An insult to the language is an insult to them as well.
  5. How would the Brazilians treat Costa though if he were to come in next season.
  6. Not Messi, but same level or better than Cristiano.
  7. the Cole situation is an enigma to me. Similar to Schurrle situation for good patches during the year. For some reason, I think Cole's situation has a lot more to do outside of football. I mean we have 2 fullbacks and a cb playing rb, however, somehow we don't rotate Cole in and we loaned out Bertrand.
  8. Actually, now that I think about. Had we played 4-2-3-1 with Mikel and Oscar and dropped Lampard and Luiz and got the same result, the people on this board would of said Mourinho got it wrong as well and how we should of started Luiz and Lampard that game...
  9. Whenever I thing of Barkley, I see the image of Lukaku doing his "give me the damn ball" hand motion and Barkley never passing it to him... LOL I would bet he goes to United within a year or two.
  10. Whenver Luiz shoots, I close my eyes. Same goes for Mikel.
  11. Spurs look like crap. This summer, I can see a firesale happening in London.. Suarez might be the most hardest working player in the EPL, which is the key to Liverpool high press. I give him POTY even though its only March-April... Liverpool without Suarez is probably the same level as Spurs and Everton.
  12. Carlo said that as did Gareth Bale and Cesc and Cristiano and a lot of people that went to La liga. The big difference is the tactical play and the way all teams play a lot of good football. There are no long balls like there are in England," the Welshman said. "That is the biggest thing about Spain – it is all passing and movement. It has been a new experience, which I am obviously learning from and enjoying. "All the teams, no matter if they are at the top or the bottom, try to play football. It is exciting, it is a great league and it is great to be playing here." "I follow the Portuguese championship, but I prefer the English Premier League, where I learnt the elementary basic rules of football, especially discipline. But the Spanish league is exceptional. It relies more on personal and technical skills. "I believe that La Liga is the best league worldwide, although I spent six years in the UK. Both championships are completely different to one another on technical levels," "I don't know if it is long ball or a rugby kick but it worked for them," he said. "In England a lot of teams create chances like that and it works. "We just have to put the ball on the floor and try to play football." It was disappointing to lose because I think we were the much better team. Arsenal made the football, the other team refused to play football, they were lucky to score with a long ball.
  13. Dave is hard working fullback, however, I'm not sure he has met anyone of Cavani talent or workrate in the EPL (bar Suarez). This will be a good test for Dave to go against a talented player whose workrate is greater than Dave's. I feel that everyone on this board that thinks Luiz is a good CM will be proven wrong again when he goes up against good CMs, which PSG have. I expect the possession game to favor PSG and for us to have a few counter attacks. The key for me is having the 3 Brazilians make sure we can get a 0-0 draw in Paris, even if we have to sabotage any offensive flow. Lavezzi is inconsistent, however, he still has immense pace and as we saw on Saturday, Iva does not. Best bet would be to aim for 0-0 than 1-0 against PSG...
  14. Adnan sure does cross the ball extremely well... Maybe we will see Rooney Nani-Mata-Adnan for next season.
  15. The leagues are different... In Spain, both Real and Barcelona have unfair financial advantages over everyone else. However, all the teams actually try to play football and attack. Spain definitely has more technical players than EPL. In England, a lot of teams don't like to play football. Rather, they do a ton of long ball, which is exactly how a shit team can beat a good team when you park the bus and longball. Also, I think the top teams in England aren't as strong as their predecessors of a decade ago, which is why it is more "competitive" now. Like Chelsea vs Chelsea Liverpool vs Liverpool United vs United Maybe Arsenal vs Arsenal. Their predecessors were stronger and a better team.
  16. I think this season under Mourinho has been successful even if we don't win the league. Obviously, you want to win the league every year, however, every team improved from last year except United and we are still fighting for the title to the end (unlike last season where we knew we were out a long time ago). If we don't win anything next season, than Mourinho should be considered a failure at Chelsea, however, this season he has done well with the team that was provided for him.
  17. The MLS is pretty competitive league too. Doesn't make it the best league though..
  18. Fabio is like the third best lb in the world. Fabio has rejected United 2x already. United want Fabio, its Fabio that doesn't want United. United need a lb, cm and lastly cbs if jones/smalling don't pan out.
  19. We should just play Schurrle as the striker..
  20. That's because he is rotting on the bench to the best (at least top 2) lb in the world.... Fabio would be fantastic replacement for Evra and with his workrate, speed, dribbling abilitiy and crossing, United would be in fantastic position with him. Obviously, they need a lot more than Fabio, however, he would be a good start at the right direction rather than their terrible acquisitions of Mata and Fellaini.
  21. Strange than. Luiz wasn't even booked as well, why did Jose take him off.
  22. Yes, Luke Shaw the english prodigy just like Digne was for France. OK. Fabio is a midlevel talent.
  23. Dzeko really is static. I don't understand why they don't play a more dynamic CF like Jovetic (unless he's still injured).
  24. Juan Mata just got a lifeline for Brazil with Thiago's injury.
