Another inept and woeful performance. It's so easy to play against us right now even without the Ivanovic factor, but when it's so blatant how poor we are down that side it's a complete free license for the opposition. To keep picking him time after time leaves the finger of blame pointing straight at Mourinho.

How do you solve a problem like Mourinho? Right now, as well as the players, he is a problem. His selection of players especially Ivanovic leaves a massive question over him. People claim the players are a problem, Mourinho is just as big a problem.

A good starting point for Jose would be to get into their heads to start attacking teams from the off and stop all this lackluster and stuck in the mud start to games. In away games especially we really do not help ourselves one bit with this slow and timid approach which then allows both players and fans alike to gain momentum. We can actually do something about that, that frustrates them by simply being more aggressive and using the attacking talent we have to full effect instead of 'hoping' the opposition don't fucking turn up.

Tempo from the off was what was the massive issue here. NU were not even pressing us enough to cause us to be that negative. They worked hard but our approach was horrific because we were just happy to pass to the side and just play about with it.
