  1. Has anyone got a YouTube link to the goal? Nice to see him getting on the scoresheet!
  2. The centenary kit was ace; I had 'Lampard' on the back of mine. I also liked the black away one from a few years back, when we were sponsored by Fly Emirates. I had 'Lampard' printed on the back of that one too!
  3. Torres comes to Liverpool from Atletico Madrid and become's arguably the best striker in the world. Aguero comes to Chelsea from Atletico Madridand walks all over Torres...
  4. It'll not happen. Bosingwa is staying, and Johnson isn't replacing him. Simples.
  5. He'd be a good signing, I'll admit that. I'd rather have him than Obi-Mikel, but there's no chance a deal will happen. Why would he move from a team that has just won everything they can win to a team that lost to Barca in the semi's of the Champions League? He wouldn't.
  6. He'd be a good addition to our squad, but nothing more than that. I wouldn't mind him coming to Stamford Bridge, but I wouldn't pay £30m for a player that will take some time to adapt to the pace of the English game. And he's 30.
  7. No problem. I enjoyed reading a few of them! Not you again... Nah, I'm kidding mate. Thanks for the welcome.
  8. Good luck to him with his new job - I'm sure he'll do a good job at Reading. I'm sure he'll be wanting to beat us in the pre-season friendly too!
  9. He's more likely to go to Spanish giants Madrid or Barca. Like I've said; he's already said he'd prefer to stay in Spain. I really do hope he comes to us though. ::: Fingers crossed :::
  10. I think we'd be silly to let Malouda go. As he's shown under Hiddink - if he's managed under the right hands, he can be some player - one of the best wingers in the league on his day. I'd rather have Ashley Young, but I wouldn't want to get rid of Malouda.
  11. Cheers mate. Aye, that's me alright.
  12. Nice to see Stoch getting on the scoresheet again. But like Terminator's said - "Consistency keeps the door open".
  13. A good line up of pre-season fixtures there. The games against AC and Inter probably won't be played in a 'friendly' passion, and there will be no love lost between the clubs.
  14. Cheers guys. BlueLion, I've been reading some of your match reports and they're quality mate, keep it up!
  15. He'd be a good signing, and would leave us with strength in depth on both sides. Him and Joe Cole can play on the right as well as the left - although it seems Cole wants to play in the centre when he comes back from injury, and then there's Malouda who found his form under Hiddink. Get rid of Kalou; buy Ashley Young. Sorted.
  16. I'd rather have Ashley Young, Sergio Aguero and Alexandre Pato than Kaka, Ronaldo and Ribery. Well, maybe not over Kaka, but over Ronaldo and Ribery, definitely.
  17. Like the person above said, you can't see how good, or not so good he is in a few games. Plus, you may be showing some bias towards Benzema there, because if you#ve "read a hell of a lot of intelligent articles about him", then no wonder you're under the influence that he's so good. Any writer of some sort can make a play sound good, and overexaggerate there abilities. Benzema's good, but he's no where near as good as everyone seems to make out.
  18. I've got a feeling that either Real Madrid or Barca will come in for him, which will prevent us from getting him. He'd be a great signing if we do get him, but I do fear the worst with regards to not signing him.
  19. Sheffield United mate. I see you're from Chesterfield?
  20. Hey guys. I'm not necessarily a 'proper fan' of Chelsea, but I'm a keen follower of the club. The site seems well set out and organised so I thought I'd sign up. I've only been to about 5 matches, but I'm hoping to go to more in the future. It's hard when you live in Sheffield though!
