  1. Frank Lampard scored a hat-trick on Saturday — but only twice on the football pitch. The Chelsea midfielder was spotted getting “very close” to Christine Bleakley of BBC's The One Show at Amika nightclub in Kensington. A club source said: “Frank and Christine arrived with a group of people from Strictly Come Dancing, including Zoe Lucker and Joe Calzaghe and the dancers Aliona Vilani and Nicole Cutler. They all sat together at a table in the VIP area, with Frank next to Christine. “He looked smitten. I didn't see them kissing, but they were flirting and looked really into each other.” Earlier that day Lampard, 31, scored two goals in Chelsea's 5-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers, before going on to join the audience for Strictly Come Dancing — where Christine was a contestant last year. The source added: “Frank was being the man in the club — he bought at least three bottles of champagne for the group, even though he was barely drinking himself. “There were some outrageous dance moves being pulled, and Frank looked on as Christine showed off the moves she learnt on last year's show, but didn't get too involved himself. “Most of the group stayed for a lock-in until 4.30am, but I'm not sure if Frank and Christine left in the same car.” Bleakley, 29, was reportedly first wooed by Lampard last month at the Pride Of Britain awards. She broke off her engagement to leisure entrepreneur Mark Beirne, 35, in January and Mr Beirne reportedly blamed Adrian Chiles, 42, Bleakley's co-host on The One Show, for the split. Both Bleakley and Chiles have denied any romantic involvement. source - thisislondon.co.uk
  2. Bloody hell, that's the last thing we need.
  3. Transport is a gripe for me. I don't drive (not because I don't want to, I just wouldn't feel confident behind the wheel) and so have to rely on either lifts or more likely public transport. I live in a village in Surrey and the first bus of the day is at 6 am, but the last bus is at 6.45 in the evening. I work up in London and if I want to stay out late (like I have for some recent Chelsea matches) I have to rely either on my family coming to pick me up or I get a taxi from my local station to where I live. It's utterly ridiculous running a bus service which finishes at such a stupid time.
  4. If you are born in this country then of course you have a right to stay here and you will hopefully learn like rest of us that to survive you have to get a job and like the rest of us if you choose to follow a different path, i.e. going out and committing crime, then you suffer the consequences. If you were not born here but wish to settle here then you you should respect the laws of our land and show that you can make a valuable contribution to our society. I think that's fair enough don't you?
  5. If you're born in this country then I believe you should be alowed to stay as long as you get job like the rest of us and pay your way. If you weren't born in this country and you want to settle here then you should be made to get a job and can prove that you have tried to get one if you genually can't get a job. If you intentially go out of your way to not work and commit crime, then you should be sent back to where you come from with no second chances.
  6. I have no problems with people of different creeds and colours working and living in this ountry as long as they are working legitimately and can prove who they are.
  7. I was going to post a separate thread on this, but I might as well ask here. What in you opinion is the best station to listen to for sports action? I just want to be able to listen to sports news on the way to work.
  8. Yes I thought i'd never see it happen, then when we (MH lower) tried to get the Shed doing it nothing happened. Disappointed there.
  9. Why bother to give this so called fan the airtime, what absolute rubbish. Drogba is definitely on form at the moment and is unstoppable imo.
  10. I am completely buzzing after that performance, atmosphere was superb and even got to do the Bouncy Bouncy, loved the rapport between the stands trying to get each one to do it. We looked very strong through out, we should be proud. Good to see Lamps scoring again, and nice to Bruma making an appearance. I can see a pattern here, 4-0 against Athletico Madrid, 5-0 against Blackburn, so would be nice to keep it going and make it 6-0 against Bolton on Wednesday?
  11. Think the latest is that Ray Wilkins is confident that he will be there. Nothing on the official website, or not that i've seen.
  12. I understand that viewing figures, peaked at 8.2 million
  13. Absolutely, we've won every game so far at home and I think we'll do it again today. I think our last 3 meetings with Blackburn in the Premiere League we've won against them.
  14. At least he scored vs Athletico and hopefully that will mean he'll be on a roll and that he's found his form. He's now overtaken Jimmy Greaves's number of goals which was 132 and is now 133.
  15. Welcome to Talk Chelsea :blue scalf:
  16. I also have a confession to make i'm a Tottenham supporter on the quiet As if.
  17. Shit, that don't sound good. Hope you can stay safe.
  18. Even though I've only recently become a supporter, I do recognize the significance of what he brought to the club and agree he should never be forgotton. It was an absolute waste of a life. I feel we should remember the people that died with him too.
  19. Sorry this is so late, some of us have to work. Anyway, what a dazzling display I saw yesterday and another home win for us. The atmosphere I thought was a little sombre at the start and I found it took time for us to get going (fans and players), it didn't stop me enjoying myself. Good to see Lamps finally scoring, let's hope he keeps it up for future matches. I think we have every chance of winning the league with what I saw last night. I know we will have tougher opponents, but I think we can cope. I know we'll have players missing in January (i.e. Drogba, Essien, Kalou for the Africans Cup, but we've still got Anelka and Sturridge as strikers. My only worry would be if either of these players were to become injured.
  20. Looks like i've missed all the fun.
  21. Now this I would love to see, let's hope the scum see the funny side if it were to happen
  22. Why? . I think he'll come up trumps on Wednesday. All good things come to those who wait...
  23. I can already see the men in white coats coming to take Benitez away
  24. Ferguson charged over ref remarks Ferguson criticised Wiley's fitness Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association for his comments on Alan Wiley's fitness. Ferguson questioned referee Wiley's fitness after the 2-2 draw with Sunderland on 3 October. More to follow. Source : bbc.co.uk/sport
