I don't think it will make a blind bit of difference, they've probably made up their minds already. They just want to make an example of us. We are strong and I believe we will get through this.

I've got a couple of the players books, Joe Cole, Michael Ballack and a book on Frank Lampard, however it's not Totally Frank, I can't remember the author. I've been told that it's out of print. I can't understand that, he's such an icon. I've also been trying to get a copy of Captain Marvel (John Terry) and that's been proving difficult too, although the publisher's say that it is available. Will probably have to buy copies on Amazon.

Yes it is the Cap and Gown, and it's £2 and apparently they have part of it for home supporters and the rest is for visiting supporters. I musn't grumble as I know it'll be a good day out.

This is obviously similar to the What are You Listening to now Thread but for books. I'm reading Tim Lovejoys book - Lovejoy on Football. I've found it very amusing so far and can't wait to get on to the next chapter. I can identify with some of the things he says and think it's definitely a good read for someone like myself just starting out as a footie fan.

They've certainly got some gall. I'm not sure if I could ever do that. If I had to sit with the opposition fans cause there wasn't anywhere else to sit, I probably wouldn't go to the match in the first place.

It has to be the NHS. I had a hospital appointment and I left work with plenty of time to get to the appointmnet. Unfortunately someone decided to top themselves in front of a train that day and so I was late for the appointment. I had some snotty nosed cow telling me that i'd should have been on time and basically giving me a full dressing down on the reasons why I shouldn't be late. It didn't seem to cut any ice with her when I tried to explain what happened, she just thought she was in the right. Where do these effing people get off?

I'm just going through the forum, and I noticed this thread. I'm seriously impressed guys. I can see i've got a long way to go with my modest collection that I've got so far.
