  1. That's what I found in the West Stand Lower, although there was the odd Carefree being sung, other than that no singing at all. That's why I've now moved to Matthew Harding where I feel more comfortable and I can sing my heart out.
  2. that's ok. I'm not sure about restricted views as i have been sitting in different parts of matthew harding lower. I think row p might be ok. I'm still finding my feet as i've only been a member since june/july this year
  3. This is obviously a very tetchy subject and I just think we need to all remember that whereever we are in the world to KTBFFH and support the lads through thick and thin.
  4. For me it's got to be Matthew Harding Lower. If you want the atmosphere with the singing then i'd say that MH Lower is a good place to start. I've not been in the Shed End, but I know a lot people say that's just a good for atmosphere as anywhere. I think just being at the Bridge is special and there's something about being there for the first time, it stays with you forever. I'd recommend you go on a tour while you're over here as it'll give you a good idea of what the ground is like and a insight of what goes on behind the scenes. They're very easy to get on to and run on a regular basis, bookable through the club.
  5. I'm definitely option 3 and I don't care what anyone thinks. The best piece of advice that i've had is from Mark Worrall who said the following to me from a personal email that I had with Mark For me supporting Chelsea isn’t so much about the football (CFC were dreadful when I started following them properly) but more about the shared experience and the glorious unpredictability that comes with the territory of being a football fan. One final thing, dont let anyone tease you about being a JCL (Johnny Come Lately) the club has to grow its fan base somehow, and its my considered opinion that every new supporter that chooses CFC is one less fan for the likes of Rottenham Dropspur or Do You Come From Manchester United. He also gave me lots of advice as for reading and have taken a lot of inspiration and met him briefly at the Tottenham game
  6. Yeah I thought was funny . I bet they can read each others minds and that's another reason they work so well together.
  7. TBH, I don't care if people think of me as a Glory Hunter. I decided to become a Chelsea Supporter after the FA Cup this year, and have supported the team ever since, OK I haven't been to many away games yet. Fulham has been my first Away Game and Aston Villa will be my second next week and possibly more and maybe even a Euro Away game at some point, other than that I've been to every home game so far and will definitely be continuing going to home games and will be looking into getting a Season Ticket next year. I know there are many people who can't afford to go to games, I don't think that makes you any the less a fan than someone like myself who tries to go to as many games as he can. You just go with you heart and enjoy it whether it's going to a match, watching it in a pub, at home, or on the internet. I'm certainly enjoying it so much and would never question someone elses support. The way I see it is we are like one big family which is growing all the time and we should support one another.
  8. Only joking. I'm sure he'll stick around for a few more years yet.
  9. They're certainly a winning combination, fantastic to watch.
  10. I know you were, but it's the truth they will do what they want.
  11. He's younger than I thought he was, I can't see him leaving just yet, unless he's got ambitions elsewhere, maybe he's seen that there is potential in Spurs
  12. May the best team win then, which of course will be the Chels. Keep the Faith
  13. Let's hope so. Do we know when the decision is due or is it now set in stone?
  14. I don't think it will make a blind bit of difference, they've probably made up their minds already. They just want to make an example of us. We are strong and I believe we will get through this.
  15. I agree and to think that he was looking at Spurs initially and came us to because of the traffic on the Tottenham High Road, best move that ever happened from what I've read.
  16. I think probably you're right about going into the center. Still would like to say hello at least at some point. Im in block Q3, Row F.
  17. I'm intrigued Steve, don't keep me out of suspense it's killing me.
  18. Thanks mate, as ever sound advice. For this game I will be getting the coach from the Bridge which leaves at 8am, which I think means that we will arrive at about 11.30am at Villa Park. I'd quite like to join you, but I wouldn't want to intrude and I suspect it'll be too late by then, you'll already be at the pub.
  19. Yes it is the Cap and Gown, and it's £2 and apparently they have part of it for home supporters and the rest is for visiting supporters. I musn't grumble as I know it'll be a good day out.
