Deffiantly deserves the extension after his massive turn around but personally i think the club should of held off a little and waited for the start of next season and seen how he played.

With the squad italy put out i didnt really have any faith in them. The squad was very aged and we where basically playing the same squad from the last world cup. Once we get the younger u21 played into the squad i think we might be a force again but until that i cannot see it happening. Also when Amauri gets in there too hopefully to replace luca toni.

If we where to sign some of there players i would only like to see Van Der Varrt who we where looking at a couple of seasons back and is a great talent just not getting game time. Also Sniejder and possibly Drenthe for cover for ashley but i dont think he is needed.

In: Burdisso, only if the club think its a good idea in the trade for Deco and Carvalho but personally i dont think he is needed. Lampard, Essien, Mikel, Malouda, Joe Cole, Ballack, Stoch, Sinclair, Mellis. In: Zhirkov and Pirlo, who i personally think could be great for us, i think he would suit the EPL very well and someone who be good cover while the African Cup of Nations are on, the only downside is that he is a bit older than what we are looking for. Drogba, Anelka, Di Santo. In: Aguero or Tevez and Sturridge.

AC have already stated that he is not for sale. I understand that he is quite close with Ancelotti but if we where to look into buying him i cant see him being worth the 40 million that i have heard they want for him.

With the way Pizarro played this season it wouldn't surprise me if we did get around 10 million for him, but the only team i can see paying that much for him is Werder.

Daniel has got a lot of potential to be a great. If we do sign him we need to play him and get him as much game time as possible because without it i can see him going backwards. If not even loan him out maybe after a year being with us. But i guess this cant happen until we actually have confirmation from the official website that we have actually signed him.
