Hehe, why would Spanish newspaper give information in pounds and not euros ? And why would Chelsea make a bid to Spanish club in pounds and not euros ? Where are you got that from ?
-
So now even Telegraph copy from Italian source ?
-
Not gonna lie, would be statement of intent from City, signing player that Pep described as one of his favourites and delivering him on plate for him. Don't think it's going to happen from what was already said by Bonucci.
-
Calm down. There's big difference between Ivanovic playing every minute in every game and being fielded regardless how he plays (remember that 50+ games run with full 90 minutes in each game?) and him being a squad option. If you think he's that bad, I can't help you, well look at Cahill. Idrissa Gueye from Villa for example. One of Sporting's Joao Mario/William Carvalho. Yeah there are not much of them but if Chelsea can sign strikers for 100m€ then they can sign another midfielder to 25m€ N'golo Kante ? Nah, I don't think we need full-back. Baba imo gave positive signs, he already is the best player at keeping possession under pressure alongside Hazard. He can improve, he has ability to improve, imo he has all ingredients to be very good left-back. Azpi is going nowhere and Ivanovic can be cover for 40 matches season.

"33" Anyway. Chelsea are not breaking their transfer record for Morata. I don't know how you can believe that Chelsea just like that will part their ways with 75m€. Chelsea are master at getting good deal. If it happens, it will be much less money. Real will profit at this anyway. I'm not too angry tbh because there are positive reports about Koulibaly and Kante. But would be hilarious situation when Chelsea sign 2 strikers before Arsenal get 1
-
I don't see place for him tbh. I don't know how Chelsea can use 3-5-2 when we don't have one good defender for that, let alone 3. We have to get rid of those AMs if we intend to playing 2 uptop. Cuadrado, Oscar, Kenedy, Willian, Pedro, I think up to 3 of them should be sold.
-
He did though. He gave debut to 18 kids at Real for example.
-
Still thin in midfield area. Remember that Chelsea tried to sign that CM last summer. In half season they sold Ramires. So we actually need 2 players there now. You omitted Oscar, Cuadrado and Mikel but they're still Chelsea players. Though I like that idea, if Cuadrado wouldn't get a shot of making the squad next season, he would be sold already. Oscar tweeting about giving assists to Batshuayi, rejecting Chinese offer and in few interviews mouthing off how he is looking forward to next season, man he is not sold yet by any means. And Mikel, well, is Mikel, who knows what more he might survive. I think 1 CB will happen, 1 CM will happen, 1 striker already happened. We'll be playing two upfront so we don't need so many AMs. I still fear that everything again will be on Hazard shoulders when we'll need to create. Kenedy, Willian, Pedro, Oscar, Cuardrado, I'd gladly turn that into 2 quality AMs if we are playing 2 upfront. With only Kante, RLC, Matic and Fabregas, we're one injury away from having no bench option. We need another midfielder. Ideally I would like something like this : Courtois, Begovic Ivanovic, Koulibaly, JT, Cahill, Zouma, Azpilicueta, Baba Matic, RLC, Fabregas, Kante, x Willian, Hazard, quality AM Diego Costa, Batshuayi, Traore, Pelle 19 outfield players for 16 places in the match-squad, I think that's enough in the domestic season only. But in reality we probably be overload in AM department and lack in CM. Fully expect it to be Cuadrado, Oscar, Willian, Pedro, Kenedy, Hazard fighting for 1 max 2 places.
-
Yeah, PSG signed Krychowiak which means they're not out for Kante probably ? Still can't believe that we CAN actually sign him. It sounds too good to me.
-
Huh ? It's exactly the right idea. Chelsea are off the market for major stars. Buying players when they are not too young and inexperienced that they need nurturing and not too developed to be considered established star - which would make their price skyrocket and cut chances to buy to very slim. Here we have a player who is already good enough to trust him with many minutes but not developed enough to have star status - and according price. He has enough experience to play A LOT and develop into star while playing. Please don't tell me it's not the right formula because that was something that has given success to so many teams.
-
Falcao, Pato and Remy are off. So we have 3 strikers for 2 positions. And Ligue 1 is far better than Championship. What the crap is that ?
-
I recommend you to look at his goal collection for Standard Liege : There are sick moves over there. Back to goal, turn, shot, bang goal. Rarely ever a simple tap-in. Especially look at 3:10. He was provider here. With what I've seen I'm incredibly surprise that he went for mere 6m€ in 2014 market. Lukaku was sold for 18m€ in 2011 market and he didn't look as impressive. He looks like a potential gem. He has already plenty of great goals scored in his career.
-
I almost thought Chelsea couldn't sign players anymore. And now bang, finalized within a day. German efficiency like in Bayern. It's not so hard those transfers ? Of course he will play alongside Diego. Antonio Conte always uses 2 striker formation, even when he had such forward options like Vucinic, Matri and Quagliarella. Diego Costa, Batschuayi and Traore, that's good line-up. I watched Belgium recently and thought that Michy should be their main man. I think that he is generally good in everything, good pace, good shot, good feet, good technique, good instinct. Simply a good striker. Something to work on definitely. 40m€ is a lot. Remember when age wasn't much of a factor for transfer fee ? Those were the days. Now when someone is young his transfer fee will be almost doubled. Can't see signing any striker beside Michy. Most teams struggle to sign one striker and now Chelsea would sign two ?
-
So all your posts and abuse towards Thibaut are based on headlines from Daily Mail ?
-
Harsh. The reality is that he is still one of the exclusive elite goalkeepers and when in form he can challenge the best. And he's still ours, the 10th of this league and he's going nowhere. Be gentle. Also little breathtaking to read someone calling twats from Italian ! Accidentaly Italian footballers are like synonym for being twats on the pitch.
-
If there's one player that I think is definitely age cheat, it's Mane. LFC going overboard, I counted to 14 their attacking mids/wingers/forwards, for 4 positions.
-
Sorry guys, but are you still confident we will get it done properly ? It's only 26th of June, right, but it's been already 6 weeks since the season ended, 6 weeks since Chelsea's only and only concern should be signing players. Yet we're getting nowhere. Not even remotely close to anybody. There is general consensus that Antonio Conte is the someone we're waiting for. I'd love for it to be true. Tbf I wasn't giving much of a thought about transfers the last 2 weeks and it was a relief but now I'm worried again. I can't even figure out what we're planning at the moment and what's the direction. Would much rather have Griezmann/Pogba/Stones bids rejected than knowing absolutely nothing.

And got neither

Several sources in Poland claim that Grzegorz Krychowiak is going to PSG after the Euros. Apparently he is favourite of Unai Emery who soon will be new PSG boss. The transfer fee will be something between 40-45m€. Slightly shame that Chelsea were never in contention but good move for him. Not only good player but very great person, pretty intelligent for a footballer. He is one of the coolest, likeable footballer around. He tweeted to Polish FA chairman something like this :
-
Now's the time. As I wrote yesterday, Roma have to sell one of their best-prized assets before 30th of June. This does not f*cking slip. Chelsea, make it done !
-
Hmm you know what ? Roma might need to sell him now. They were prepared to cash in on Rudiger but now that's not viable so Radja is next in queue. Him or Pjanic. And I read that Pjanic makes extraordinary wage demands. So ... What'ya think ?
-
Do you think he is better ? Coincidentally I looked up at Brahimi few hours ago (before the link) on Youtube and I don't know. Of course I also watched a decent amount of his matches at Porto but guy has a very strong resemblence to Moses. They're even at the same age. In top form, top decision making Brahimi is great but that's the problem with him. So even on Youtube he runs into traffic and that's not good. I'm so desperate for the signings that I would welcome him even. If Conte can sort him out, he can easly be a top winger.

I simply love whenever Di Marzio hashtags Sky Sports in his tweet and allow them to break his news according to 'sky sources'

I've seen the situation tens times already. I don't know in what world that is worth £1.2m of compensation . And why there's been a court case, I really don't know. Mou used to gouge eye of Tito which is 'bodily inviolability' violation but didn't have the case for that. But for few bad words towards woman he had to go through trial. UK is sick in that department. BTW In the next few years I will start this story from "It all started from Hazard being fat at the start of the season".

Have you seen that ?
