  1. Mata has already been replaced, Mourinho said he wants him to play RW (direct quote).
  2. We already have his replacement.
  3. The whole Mata situation is a mind-fuckery tbh, despite the hard hitting reality/predicament. Still a big fan..
  4. Rooney is only a cunt off the pitch, and still not as bad as John Terry. Suarez (for example) is a cunt ON the pitch, which is far worse and actually relevant. There is nothing souless about this 'rumoured' decision. It's based on pretty sound logic, if Oscar IS to be 'Numero Uno' as our CAM. Mata residing on the bench in pre-season has nothing to do with it, it's about the type of player he is (Styles 'famously' addressed the issue last season), and how he'd fit with our current set up. For the record, I don't think we should sell him to a direct rival.
  5. Context is everything, it was from the same interview. He called Mourinho THE best coach in the world, and you tried to act like Hazard merely echoed his status at the club, smh.
  6. No, it wasn't. "Mourinho is the best coach in the world." Source: L'Equipe (direct quotes)
  7. I was and still am a big fan of Mata, but the more I think about it.. the more it's based on sentiment for the previous seasons, in which he was all we had. Literally, the only player who could dictate play and the guy we'd all look to.. Now we have options, Mata isn't a big fish in a small pond anymore.
  8. Mourinho is the biggest 'star' Chelsea football club have ever had. He is one of the most marketable men in football history and he's not even a player!, Roman had to swallow his pride in order to bring him back. Things would have to go very wrong indeed for him to even think about it. Yes, Juan Mata has been our 'stand out' acquisition.. in the worst era of Roman's reign. Minus an incredible european run, in which Mata was not instrumental. We are looking to seriously compete for the title and begin an era of dominance. If Mourinho sees Oscar as the superior option in that position, we have to back him.
  9. Isn't Willian supposed to be a winger 'primarily'?, Oscar is clearly going to be our CAM. It's been long established that Mata shouldn't be playing on the wings, he doesn't have the pace and won't track back etc etc.
  10. Essien, lmao Van Ginkel is a prospect (pre-season has never told us anything) Lampard (regardless of the first 2 games) won't be playing week in week out, and shouldn't be. Mikel is just squad bulk now, he'll be thrown into the mix when we need to control a game, 70th minute mark. He will ask to leave next season.. 1. Ramires We have no strikers, only a prospect, a flop and a guy who isn't good enough for this level.
  11. Logic has been voided it seems. Weak pivot, no strikers.. Hmmm, let's sign a left winger!
  12. Oscar is the better option as our CAM under Mourinho, Mata is pretty ineffective out wide too, which raises concerns. Sentimentality aside, we should want what's best for the side. Long season ahead, so we'll see how things unfold. Still though.. Styles prophesied it.
  13. ^ Was Torres trying to send a message to all his 'fangirls' on tumblr and whoever buys his shirts yesterday?. He's good friends with Sergio Ramos, I wonder if he's been giving out any tips on how to 'deal' with Jose. Although lmao at any player who even dares to undermine Mourinho at this club, especially now.
  14. http://thefirstrow.biz/soccer/chelsea-hull-city-frs90b43 ^ Sky Sports UK Coverage (good quality)
  15. Money bags Monaco leading 3-1, Montepellier had a man sent off. (69mins). Oh, and Falcao scored one of them, obviously.
  16. Wish I was there today, that match programme will be a collectors item. Hopefully they will print more for the megastore, as it will keep going out of stock.
  17. It should be done ahead of time, United (from what we know via media) say he's staying and that message has been pretty clear, 'reports now claim' Rooney has accepted their decision. There is no formal transfer request!, which is bizarre considering how long the speculation has been going on. Why leave it so late, United won't be selling late in the window, that's not how they operate. Why risk it.. there needs to be more tension & further disruption, Rooney is conforming atm.
  18. The board failed Jose, they should be tapping him up like we did with Cole. Rooney is a coward for not handing in a transfer request.
  19. Rooney's relative importance to United is unknown at this present time because the season hasn't started. If RVP picks up an injury or tactically he becomes an asset to Moyes for whatever reason, that changes things. If not.. Rooney's value will drop in january, so it's in United's best interest to sell NOW.
  20. Wow, wtf. I made a post, went back to edit in a full stop (which took 2 seconds) and all of a sudden I have a big massive ugly orange box in my post. So much for forum aesthetics, at least have a 5-10 minute time gap ffs..
  21. He certainly put a lot of effort into branding himself, have you seen his official site?.. I think it's time for you to put the xbox controller down, and start 'watching' football matches.
  22. Everyone’s stock has risen with Jose's return, our players will start to get a lot more credit as players. Luiz can be perceived differently and players like Hazard can get to that next level. I've already noticed how the media and fans of other clubs are taking our key players a lot more seriously. In some cases even forgetting that our pivot is still weak.. The Mourinho effect.
  23. I see what you're getting at, but looking at the bigger picture.. Rooney & Torres have very different 'attitudes' indeed. Torres is a delicate fragile flower who crumbles under pressure of any kind, a deer in the headlights. Rooney is a testosterone fulled ape, who doesn't give a fuck.
