rather see Borini any day. young fresh & hungry talented players should always be chosen over injury prone players.
-
if only he wasn't African, cant remember the last time anelka scored against a top 4 team in a Chelsea shirt.. January will be very interesting.
-
Welcome!
-
^ we have one of belletti lmao, so i don't think it matters.

. people who type "I'm off to work" on facebook via their phones . people always wanting to take countless pics (no matter the occasion) . mainstream generic people who criticism any individual clothing you wear . old people staring at the youth . people who don't contribute to your social group but still get invited to everything . cunts who take photos of them self's on social networking sites with no shirt on . good looking girls who want ugly tattoos of tribal shit . the media portraying going to a club as having a good time, go smoke some weed for fuck sake . window seats in subway . tedious small talk with employers . overcrowded buses, someone sitting in front of me so now i have to look down for 20mins otherwise he thinks i'm staring at him

arsenal are the club scolari said he rejected a bid from, which is the reason i'm saying arsenal. ...and forget sturridge i'd also rather give that italian kid Borini kalou's game time. kalou has had long enough to impress us.
-
kalou looks like the retarded baseball player who gets the white girl pregnant from the movie 'LIFE' with eddie murphy and the guy from big mommas house, and true to the movie his performances since joining have been average at that. anyways he's the arsenal type and it would only mean Sturridge will be able to get the game time he needs, which we will benefit from in the long term.
-
this will be a good opportunity for sturridge to claim a first team sub role for the prem games, instead of mr average himself kalou.
-
you sound like you should be supporting a mid-table club. ... kalou will never be good enough to be a first team player, only as a sub and he's not exactly getting younger. Wish we had sold him to arsenal, he makes Chelsea look inferior when we have to bring him on.. sturridge is a much bigger prospect in comparison he should get the game time kalou's been getting.
-
the shirt room's impressive although it's interesting to see he thinks about that peno 20-30 times a day.
-
i remember before we signed cole we were interested in roberto carlos lmao, thank god we decided against that because we have the best left back in the world atm. and Drogba was a beast as usual, he will become one of the greatest strikers in Chelsea & premiership history no doubt.
-
when we win the champions league we will be just 2 more away from man-utd, not exactly a big gap.. they have far more league titles. but domestic wins don't give you the same 'WORLDWIDE' recognition as champions league success. anyone who says man-utd are a bigger club than us should be assassinated imo, and are still living in a post-roman world... move on from that mentality.
-
eh.. must they change the kit every year every few years or so the kit should remain the same for at least 2 seasons imo.
-
welcome to the very fabric of Chelsea fc discussion.
-
a new stadium for Chelsea will be guaranteed as long as we are a big club, but i doubt one will be built any time soon. although a few more trophy's are likely to seal the deal because successful organizations are constantly expanding, and no matter how strong fans feeling's are against it they know we will always come around to the eventual inevitability.
-
actually.. with no offense intended to Kez, but i never implied people 'are' or 'will' be talking about our font, she clearly needs to put words in my mouth to make a point. my point was that images/pictures will be forever known and recognized in history so why not give us some individual font.. not exactly a big deal for adidas to do, that was my point.
-
no point building a whole new stadium just for 15,000 more seats, if we plan on building one it needs to be bigger than the emirates at least, not just for the increasing fans but for the pure principle of it. besides the emirates just looks like an airport, if we build a new one it needs to be like Stamford bridge.

OFFICIAL: Gourlay is new chief executive
Term-X replied to EskWeston's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Peter Kenyon's successor must tackle void left by José Mourinho, too RonGourlay, Chelsea's replacement for Peter Kenyon, has to deal with the club's dearth of personality since the José Mourinho publicity machine left José Mourinho, from the moment he was unveiled as manager, above, took center stage at Chelsea, allowing Peter Kenyon, right, to be more in the background. Photograph: Tom Jenkins this guy has a point about us lacking that voice, someone to distract the media away from bullshit player dressing room disputes, scandals and everything that comes with not having a manager representing the club in a attractive way. and it's all well and good saying results are all that matter because in history no one remembers the clubs who where silent about their successes. -

sounds good although time will tell. -
i think the billionaires at notts county have already offered him a crazy amount of money to take on that challenge. although i can see man-city snapping him up considering more or less all our shirt sales outside of England are because of him. He's the best at what he does and is the only reason we have all the fans around the world which is important if we ever want to be self dependent as a club (financially) allot of people will try to be all fake about this decision and say it's not about the brand image but about the performance and try and act like they are somehow better fans.. but in reality you need a brand to gain recognition for successes, otherwise you have no business or financial muscle for when roman eventually leaves.
-
adidas are a much bigger brand than umbro ^ ac milan, real madrid (bigest club in the world) umbro are for up and coming clubs like man-city kenyon made Chelsea a worldwide brand, and no that wouldn't of happened anyway ^ because you need to have a business brain and know what your doing, kenyon did the same with man-utd too we are in danger of becoming what arsenal are now, instead of the fresh revolutionary club we were when kenyon arrived.
-
if we win the champions league and the iconic images in the papers are from behind people in Afghanistan are gonna think liverpool have won the champions league in their away kit. there has been some iconic images in football history so the kit & font etc do matter, if we achieve something special this season the images will stay in everyone's head forever and a day (unconsciously)
-
Bad news, he transformed this club into a global brand if it wasn't for kenyon we wouldn't of got the Samsung deal and probably not even adidas on board let alone most of the players.
