the ultimate test for a footballer is converting that quality into trophy's. The league & the champions league are the only ones that will give a player that worldwide recognition from the media and other fans for decades to come. Even in our league double seasons i believe drogba was nowhere near the complete striker he is now. it's like jose' said "no matter what final it is. People only remember the winning side."

before you post read the thread title, i clearly state he will remain a Chelsea legend. but to be remembered as one of the greatest strikers you have to win trophy’s, Drogba came so close to winning at least 3 champions leagues.. he deserves the recognition. Yet other individuals have already sealed his fate in the history books.
