  1. exactly. i would like to hear what frank arnesen and co think of this..
  2. instead of creating new talent and tearing up the football world with our own youngsters, we will be buying a bunch of 30+ has been's. fuck this, awful decision by the club this is truly a disgrace.
  3. if your not interested then stay out of the fucking thread, i don't go into a coffee shop and declare i don't like coffee. the traditional first 11 numbers will always be part of football tradition, along with the billions of fans worldwide who have favourite numbers.
  4. number 4 is still available too, would like to see Matic or one of the defensive youngsters sporting that next season.
  5. along with arsenal we were the first english team to wear shirt numbers, and with some first team numbers available for youngsters and new signings who do you think should inherit them? 9. I think it's safe to say Di Santo has blown his chance after a disappointing time at blackburn, along with Carlo's favourtisim towards his fellow italian Fabio Borni. Would love to see Aguero sporting the famous number 9 worn by Osgood but i would understand if another youngster gets it such as Borini. 10. Gael Kakuta should inherit J.Cole's number 10. He is the future king of stamford bridge and i'm sure the marketing men will secretly push this anyway, but considering he's a number 10 type performer i couldn't think of a more suited player for this prestigious number in football history. 7. If by some chance we sign Aguero i think the last number he should receive is sheva & mutu's number 7. If by some miricle we do sign him the last thing we want on his mind is some petty superstition. Stoch on the other hand lead fc twente to domestic glory, and would surely embrace a chance to wear a first team number and abolish the curse.
  6. it was the right decision to let j.cole leave, no way he has earned the wages he was demanding. Ballack was a hollywood signing and an historic moment in the clubs history, idolized in germany and a global superstar when he joined. Shame he missed out on the champions league trophy, but he has made histoy by becoming the first german to win the english double.
  7. exactly, all hail gael kakuta! Ballack = first german footballer to win the double.
  8. Gael Kakuta officially announced as the new number 10! http://www.chelseafc.com/page/TheReservesProfiles/0,,10268~1131732,00.html
  9. i'm suprised this hasn't been implemented yet, it's so necessary.
  10. Amsterdam is probably the best city in the world, no illogical laws, great public transport system, safe streets and english speaking people. here is a quality site for anyone going http://www.amsterdamlogue.com/
  11. how many of these polls do we need.. Benzema won't go anywhere and we haven't been linked with him anyway not even by the laughable goal.com, milan will do everything do keep pato and i think he recently committed himself to milan anyway so he won't be an option. Aguero on the other hand is possible and the majority of this forum would like to see him here, he even revealed he would love to play with lamps and dider but of course his price tag maybe too high. Considering we have anelka and the likes of sturridge and borini patiently waiting.
  12. The great managers in football taught the like minded hungry players how to win, why else do you think jose' left Chelsea so soon after Sheva & Ballack came in. They are the figure heads for fans worldwide, they sell shirts and stay big names even when their form dips. During the back to back winners period Jose' never signed 'Pepsi' names, by that I mean global anti-form players. Drogba was a big signing but by no means did he have his face on walls worldwide. This is why I believe Jose' will resist man-utd when he returns to the premier league because these players have absorbed fergie's wisdom for too long. When you are taught to win for that many years with the same manager another philosophy will be wasted on established players. Jose' would have to get rid of the celebrated players such as Giggs, Scholes and Neville. just like he did at Chelsea by getting rid of Desailly, Hasselbaink and neglecting Carlo Cudicini. Ancelotti does things differently and has a completely contrasting approach but he holds the winning formula. Player power simply cannot exist in a big club environment because their becomes too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Jose' demands instant results and exploits every possibly way he can influence a game such as using his mind games both before and after the final whistle. Carlo portrays a calm and patient persona whilst the likes of Roman and Ron Gourlay are demanding the world and everything in it. He is communicating with the players and leading them efficiently, he knows how to handle indvidual characters such as Drogba who need to be centre of attention. He knows Didier is too far gone to change and instead molds his mind elsewhere. One philosophy has to reign supreme, his social skills with the players hypnotizes them into accepting his formula and philosophy's. When Jose' left he labeled his star chelsea players as 'his', Jose' may have turned them into winners but Carlo knew after grant and scolari the players had the hunger to win again. The more than special one's history of achievements at ac milan will have initially won them over. Indirectly Ancelotti more or less openly admitted to the corruption in italian football and suggested towards the reason why he had only won the league once. The powers that be had been arraigning referees for juventus, despite this Ancelotti believed in his own ability and led the milanese to champions league glory once again. As long as Roman maintains his working relationship with Carlo, maybe even let him 'do a Scolari' and demand a player, I think john terry's army will get another chance to make history in Europe (luck permitting).
  13. took a few minutes to type my own thoughts, and a few seconds to find the previously viewed articles and relevant youtube vid. terrible comeback from bluelion, if he thought that was the least bit humorous.
  14. education system is much better in holland, if you ask someone if they speak english as a tourist in amsterdam for example they will take it as a mild insult. Praatjes vullen geen gaatjes.
  15. r.i.p liverpool won't be seeing them in the top 4 for a very long time.
  16. Kakuta needs to be molded into a first team player in all competitions never mind the carling cup, although yes the others such as bruma, borini and co need to be playing in next seasons carling cup and fa cup fixtures. If joe cole does leave i hope carlo resists the temptation to buy anyone because kakuta and stoch are more than capable of asserting themselves.
  17. i lose all sense of humour when i see your posts, are you really that ignorant?
  18. Welcome. the more dutch people the better, we have too many ignorant daily mail readers on here. Prefer The Independent myself - BL.
