Villas-Boas stated his desire for a short career, he wants to retire at 45. I just hope he's in it for football reasons (i.e. wants to create an impact/legacy somewhere), and not purely for financial reasons.
So is this season finally going to be the transitional period many have anticipated.. Bring in a young hungry manager, and get rid of the older players (Drogba, anelka and co). Let's hope so.
Villas Boas as manager, and Hiddink as DoF would be the dream team. The 15m release cause is a concern though. Considering there are no guarantees Roman will give him time, and the club have already given Carlo a £6m pay off.
Zinadine Zidane cost £47 million, and he's possibly the greatest player ever. Yet that would be considered a bargain nowadays. 3m less than Torres, Jesus...
Tbh... He could only be talking about Torres. Because this is a recent quote, and David Luiz is clearly not the type of personality who would warrant hostility from villains like Kalou. Kalou is a poisonous element in this team. He's an inferior player who envies anyone keeping him on the bench. He's also deluded because he believes he's good enough for Chelsea. "Pout & sulk".. Who the fuck does he think he is?. Kalou is in no position to be disrespecting his fellow professionals like that.
Last season everyone thought Everton away at the end of the season was bad. Arsenal & Liverpool away in the final 4 games of the season is much worse. It could all be over by the time we play Blackburn at home.
Well to be fair C.Ronaldo wasn't exactly the finished article when he arrived at United, he wasn't using his skills objectively anyway. Ferguson actually played him though. We will never know how good Kakuta may have become, because this is Chelsea fc.
Kalou is a poisonous element in the dressing room. Even during our title celebrations he was bringing down the mood.. Kalou is a delusional gossip. Who turns to the media instead of confronting the players he has a problem with..
