  1. Always baffled me how fans of other 'top clubs'/rivals for the title, wish players like this 'all the best'. I wish him all the worst, if he turns out to be the new C.Ronaldo of the PL, we're all fucked. Man-City have told him to keep the worlds press 'in suspense' about which manchester club he will go to, just to rub it in United's face.
  2. 8 times out of 10 tactics will decide the result, so many factors to take into account though.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGylPtA1gGU Quite a talent, pacey, cuts inside, can beat a man, he can even track back, something Mata was incapable of doing when played there. If we signed both Muniain & Hulk, I'd never doubt the board again. Guardiola once said he was Barcelona's missing piece of the jigsaw.
  4. Tbf, I was using the word peaked as 'loosely' as possible, in comparison with Muniain.
  5. At 26 (by the time we sign him) he's already peaked, thus he must perform right away. He needs to adapt to the team and the league instantly, for the price tag to be justified. If we signed Iker Muniain, for.. let's say £26m, and he failed to adapt to the league and had a mixed first season. He's still a 19/20 year old with raw talent, and unlike Lukaku, Muniain has proven his worth in the best league in the world. We could sign both though, with Muniain operating on the left side of a forward three.
  6. If BlueLion's first post in this thread is genuine, then he will have the decency to wipe my slate clean. Other forums do it, when members don't receive warnings for a certain amount of time.
  7. It was a valid question, as this is the first time BlueLion has used polls. Thus, the 'thought out' expressive votes from the original thread lose validity.
  8. Hazard is a superior player, the most sought after in world football. We can't compete with City financially, that's why we're after Hulk. The money from the criminal Etihad deal has been invested in development programs, stadium infrastructure and 'community projects', which is exempt from FFP calculations. The 'eventual' financial benefits of such an investment can be used to offset the club's wage spend. Thus, they will not be penalised for the face value of these losses long-term, giving them the financial upper hand over us, and everyone else in the league.
  9. Yea, and join forces with the scousers. Plus.. The FA are a joke, always have been. Club > Country
  10. Wipe my slate clean then, and I'd have more freedom.. Besides, the warning system lost credibility a while ago.
  11. On a side note... You don't fucking say?, Lmao.. maybe if you wiped my slate clean I'd have more 'room to maneuver'..
  12. The last time you did this, there was no polls.. that's the point. Needless.
  13. ^ I already won this, why have you decided to create polls?.. seems pointless.
  14. A Champions league final!, is no time to be experimenting with a strike duo we already know just doesn't work.
  15. ^ You are always undermining and insulting people. Check out the discussions we had in the english football thread, you just do it in a less direct way.. hypocrite.
  16. Of course they will get away with it, Eden Hazard is testament to that. FFP is a joke, the criminal Etihad deal is proof of that. All City have to do is prove they are investing in the community, and show UEFA a 'trend' (< key word) towards breaking even by 2014-15. Even if the losses have not been sufficiently staunched.
  17. Schweinsteiger's (supposed) Nazi salute after Bayern's win over Real Any football historians on here?.. how was Bayern Munich's relationship with the Nazi's...
  18. With the uncertainty surrounding our CL place, I suppose this is a better time than any to start negotiations with a marquee signing.
  19. Lmao.. That was actually true though (search through this thread), when Cisse scored Justin began to panic, and 'randomly' started an argument. Throwing insults around and so forth. It was a mini-meltdown.
  20. How exactly? ... I'm being realistic, and facing the harsh reality. Also, being a Chelsea fan, you are automatically the complete opposite to a Liverpool fan. Not that you would know about that, being a City recruit..
  21. Justin spreading his City propaganda.. Dig through the pages of this thread, and see his reaction when QPR were leading 2-1, he was having a MELTDOWN.
  22. Hulk will be a great marketing gimmick, Gourlay must be licking his lips.. I'd much rather the club invest in a talent like Iker Muniain though, he's 7 years younger and would cost less.
  23. Indeed. Shame we can't have it for two seasons, even more of a shame we won't be using it for the CL final.
