Lmao, no.. it was in a playful manner, Essien was also doing it. The point being though, Lamps was grinning like a cheshire cat, very happy man. No shame.
Lampard is being criticised for his 'attitude' & 'comments' (direct quotes, no conspiracy). This was never about whether he 'directly' influenced the decision or not.
I assume you mean based on a Sun article?, No... based on 'direct quotes', the tabloid is irrelevant. Frank Lampard is looking out for Frank Lampard. AVB's departure was in 'his' best interests, and Frank was undermining the manager with those comments.
The new manager effect? .. not quite. AVB's uninspiring low-rent errand boy is now in charge, do you think the players give a fuck about his history at chelsea?
Having Jose' Mourinho at the helm is a bigger draw for players than being a Champions League club. He is a superstar in his own right, a once in a lifetime manager and his return would be hailed as the second coming of christ. It would be huge, the press would be all over us for good reasons.
It's a win win situation for AVB, if sacked he will get a £20m+ pay off. Plus this won't even harm is reputation, as many clubs now see Chelsea as a joke with an impatient owner. So there will at least be a few semi-big clubs who would happily employ him after this.
