  1. Not as nervous as I was for Moscow. Safe in the knowledge that nothing can be worse than the pain of your own captain missing a match winning penalty. In the most dramatic fashion, against a domestic rival, in a penalty shootout.
  2. That's just ridiculous, not even the great Raúl had his jersey retired at Real Madrid. I agree with JT's 26, at least that would be feasible, considering it's not an a-typical first team number. Numbers 1-11 however, should never be retired, as a rule of thumb.
  3. Switching back to an old shirt after wearing a new one 'within the same season' is just stupid.
  4. ^ If that's true, switching back to the old kit for the CL final would be ridiculous.
  5. Lmaoo, no shit.. I became a fan of the club from that crest, That's not the point. The crest I posted is the one the club uses as it's 'retro' badge, check out the adidas original gear in the club store. The one you have used will never be used ever again for anything, it's too recent, and it was scrapped by Peter Kenyon for a reason.
  6. ^ That's not even a retro crest though, that badge will never ever return. This is a real 'retro' crest...
  7. Those ratings are given on the basis that they improve in manager mode. For example, Thibaut Courtois starts off low, and becomes one of the best keepers in the game.
  8. Kalou wants whoever picks him.. He only started a grand total of 4 games under AVB. He even humiliated Kalou after starting him for the first time, by substituting him off in the 34th minute of the game, lmao.
  9. 'Player of the year' voted by the fans, is the real accolade, 'players player' holds less significance historically. The wiki page for Chelsea is the first thing that appears when fans worldwide research Chelsea fc into any search engine. Mata has now been immortalised amongst club legends.
  10. He has a better grasp of the english language than scousers.
  11. Ramires with a dig at the presenter, "maybe next year you can learn portuguese".
  12. I wonder who'd be sad enough to 'obsess' over a member on the internet, when they have a child on the way.. We Hate Scouse.
  13. Lmao, RDM will prove to be the most clueless manager in world football history if Essien even steps foot in the Munich final. Ferreira, Heck.. even Oriol, as bad as he was yesterday over Essien in a heartbeat.
  14. His contract runs out in 2015, the club should have released him in janaury when he returned from injury. AC Milan were 'reported' as interested, and unless a club signs him for his reputation. I can't see how we'd even get £5m for him now.
  15. No, I'm going off word of mouth, hence the 'supposedly'.
  16. Yes, it's (supposedly) to commemorate 25 years at the club, tarton is associated with Scotland, it's just one of those stereotypical things.
  17. Any animosity should be at City not Hazard, and the illegitimacy of the Etihad deal, everyone is at a disadvantage due to the FFP... except City. All this 'rather them than United' bollocks is a logical fallacy.
  18. Turnbull is an abomination, who was only signed to appease the home grown quota anyway. With Hilario & Courtois in the picture, Walker would only be wasting his time here, if he has any ambition that is.
  19. A players skill is rounded, the visual skill bar increases are for appearances. If you see that a player is skilled 6, it can be from 5.5 to 6.4. You can't know exactly how skilled he is. If player is higher in his skill (nearer to 6.4) he will double jump with lower Development value than player who is lower in his skill (nearer to 5.5). http://www.xperteleven.com/viewGlobalTopics.aspx?ForumID=26
  20. Yea, 16-21 year olds can 'double up'.. How much development value did he have before the change report?
  21. Apparently the 'tartan' design is a tribute to SAF, still looks hideous though.
  22. Tomo.. how did you get a 20 year old at level 8, did he 'double up'?, i.e improved by two skill levels in one change report..
  23. He's a squad player, which is essentially what Zhirkov (£18m) 'became', at least in this instance we've actually paid an appropriate fee, for this type of acquisition.
