  1. And it's over. 4-0 on the cards now. Let's hope Leicester do us a favor next week.
  2. If miraculously, which won't happen but if City lose/draw today to Everton, although this is a good result for us, it's also a very good result for United who are now challenging for the title. That'd mean United would be only 2 points off City and 8 points off us. United are looking very promising now as we progress along this season.
  3. Don't hold your breath, Everton are hopeless and will get thrashed 4-0 probably.
  4. Everton have been woeful this year, hell even Tottenham beat them and Hull managed a draw away. Everton will be thumped 4-0 today.
  5. Cahill was awful, Costa was a liability for us today and we didn't take our chances, like the Hazard chance for example. Why wasn't Costa subbed off for Remy? Remy would've made a huge impact I think in this game. Now the league is looking harder, we have more pressure mounting onto the players and Jose, let's just hope the title contenders like City and Utd drop points this week, but unlikely to happen. What absolutely pisses me of, those scum of the Earth Newcastle fans wanted Pardew out at the start of the season, the guy is a brilliant manager, stupid plastic fans.
  6. Honestly if we do not win the CL, I'd want an uncommon team to win the CL that hasn't won it in the last 10 years, I wouldn't mind Dortmund, PSG, Atletico, Juventus to win it this year if we somehow fail to. I'm sick and tired of seeing the same old Barcelona, Madrid, Munich always winning the CL, it sort of makes the whole thing predictable.
  7. Still don't understand why Hart is our number 1 keeper, Forster is head and shoulders better than Hart lol. Goes to show favoritism in the English team.
  8. Man Utd will get top 4 definitely, if not they will get top 3.
  9. What do you mean by "different level to any keeper"? Are you talking about sweeper keeper styled play?
  10. If Neuer is nominated for Ballon D'or, then why isn't our Courtois nominated? Conceded far less goals for Atletico, far less in the Champions league and even conceded less open play goals at the WC (counted up to Quarters).
  11. WTF, Neuer wasn't even the best GK in the WC. Keylor Navas was far better than him. Neuer did not have the most amount of clean sheets either. On what basis was he nominated for Ballon D'Or? Look at this: http://static.sportskeeda.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/xwcek6q-2094158.png Shall I name you who else should've been shortlisted? Robben, Zlatan, Suarez.
  12. Hope Neuer doesn't win the Ballon D'or, it'd be an insult to greats like Lev Yashin. The only damn keeper to win the Balon D'or!
  13. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/542031/Manchester-City-Chelsea-Frank-Lampard-Pellegrini-contract-football http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2855029/Frank-Lampard-cools-talk-Manchester-City-future-admits-nice-hear-wanted-Manuel-Pellegrini.html
  14. He is a liar. Remember when he was saying he didn't want to play against Chelsea? And then he ended up scoring against us.
  15. Just the fact Frank Lampard celebrated in a City jersey makes me not like him anymore. It's absolute tragic how he ended his career, in terms of his relationship with Chelsea FC. Now I've been hearing that Lampard may get his loan deal extended beyond January at City, absolute distasteful for us Chelsea fans. It's also the fact all the City fans cheer on Lampard that makes me boiling pissed. Why can't he just be a proper legend and stay the fuck away from rival sides.
  16. OK then, that's 3 German sides, still less than other leagues. Fair enough, you can quote all you want in the future stages of the UCL this season. When it comes down to German and English sides advancing to knockout stages, I think it'd be the same. Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea for England, don't see City going through. Leverkusen, Dortmund, Munich advancing for Germany. We'll see where Arsenal and Liverpool get up to. I can assure you, Leverkusen will crash out 2nd round and Dortmund may make Quarters at most. Munich on the other hand will crash out in the Semis.
  17. I was talking about it in the entire history, even including the European Cup. Man Utd, Nottingham Forest, Liverpool, Chelsea, Aston Villa all have won the European/Champions league. That is 5 teams. Only Dortmund & Munich have won for Germany. Also on the point of Wolfsburg,I feel that people get the wrong idea when it comes down to attacking football and teams creating chances but not taking them. The better team on the pitch is simply the one with more goals, end of. You don't have to play attacking football to be known as a good team. Just look how we won the UCL in 2012. Everton that game were very clinical and took all their chances, they deserved the win. The problem with Bundesliga, their overall coefficient is misleading. It doesn't take into account what Leverkusen and Schalke (3rd and 4th teams) position in the UCL. These teams are always crashing out of the UCL losing by 5+ goals by better teams. The whole UEFA coefficient thing for Germany is always going up because of ONE team's performance, which is Bayern Munich and this is enabling lesser able Europa League quality sides like Schalke, Leverkusen to compete.
  18. It doesn't matter what team reached Semis and what not, but if you look at the history of the Champions League, only 2 German clubs have won it, one being obviously Munich and the other is Dortmund 1997. That Schalke semi final doesn't mean much when they get thrashed in the semis 6-1 on agg. That 1-1 at the Bridge was a freak result. Just look at it this way, Wolfsburg are currently ranked 2nd in their league and Everton are ranked 9th in the English League. The team that are currently 9th beat a team that is 2nd in another league in both home & AWAY, what does that tell you about the quality of the German sides?
  19. Yes I don't understand why the UEFA coefficient is so high for Germany. Like I said before, all German clubs have always been disappointing except Munich. Yes Dortmund had a freak season few years back when they reached finals, similar to Leverkusen's freak season in 2002. You watch Leverkusen & Dortmund will get thrashed once they hit second round, Dortmund have had a super easy group this season. Leverkusen lost yesterday to Monaco at HOME. Schalke can't even beat Maribor at home. Leverkusen lost 5-0 to the worst Man Utd team in decades at HOME, Schalke got beat 9-2 last year on agg.,Barca 7-1 Leverkusen, the list goes on. The quality gap in the German League is massive, that's the problem. This season, I expect Leverkusen to be thrashed 6-0 on agg if they finished 2nd in group. Schalke won't even finish in 3rd place. Dortmund will either crash out in R16 or Quarters at best.
  20. Sorry to say, but all German teams are poor bar Bayern Munich when it comes down to European competitions. All German sides have been humiliated by English sides this week. Not to mention, in all those games except the Munich game, it wasn't even close. I don't understand why UEFA still allow 4 German sides in the Champions League. Schalke and Leverkusen are atrocious. Leverkusen got thumped 5-0 by the worst United team in decades at home.
  21. Come on now LOL.....this City ain't winning the Champions league, they may make the Round of 16 only if they beat Roma while Moscow lose to Munich. There's no certainty that if City win next game, they'll be through. Right now, Munich have 0 motivation in the CL group stages and CSKA may very well snatch a win like they did at Etihad. If you think this City side, who beat a 10 men Bayern B side at home with all three goals being gifts, somehow have the capacity to win the whole CL, then you are the one needing to quit football, not me. Plus, City won't even have Fernandinho + Yaya against Roma. Let's just say City make it out of group, they'll get a top side and get thumped. Let them enjoy their glory for now, that glory will end either in 2 weeks time or in February.
  22. Good shit, glad City won this actually, they needed some luck after all the misfortune they've been facing past few games. Just more midweek games for them, which is a huge thing really. The best thing will be Man City winning at Rome and then CSKA beating Munich, just all that hard work down the drain LOL.
