I just hope we sign someone with good stats on fifa....

Fucking terrible sub. Should've been Luiz on for Oscar with Lamps pushing up to the middle of the 3 and Luiz in the pivot.
-
Alan Smith on the Demba chance: "Sits up nicely for him". Yeah, because it was a real easy chance for him: volley, on the turn, at a horrible angle while being closed down...such a Arsenal prick.
-
Oscar having a shocker. Would love Moses on the right now.
-
We're a first half team under Benitez and if it keeps going this way, I don't see a chance I'm afraid; especially because in the second half he'll just bring Torres on, which does nothing.
-
We have such a shit bench without Moses...
-
Let's hope his new haircut is an omen that he actually does want to go back to his roots...Atletico!
-
It's clear to everyone, including Rafa, that Torres is having an absolute shocker. I mean, his work rate at the start was terrible, but improved as the half went on, but it's clear his heart just isn't in it. Arsenal started to fight back, now they've scored, yet Rafa still refuses to make the change and probably won't until the 70min+; he's not even warming up. One of the main reasons I don't want this fat spanish wanker here next season.

Hope to see Ba before Arsenal's comeback (attempt), but this is FSW we're talking about...
-
If we sign Fellaini when we could get Capoué AND Beñat for the same price...I just don't know anymore.

I feel this is both a combination of complacency and the atmosphere at the bridge these days. I can only imagine what Benitez said to them at half time. He seems to instill no desire in his players whatsoever, just like the QPR game. Even when it was 2-1, I only saw a few at it; it's like they're overloaded on tactics or he just says "follow my tactics and we'll be fine". It reminds me of Ibrahimovic saying that he would "kill for Mourinho", I'm not saying he can motivate any of our players to such an extent, but at least so much so as to not lose a 2-0 lead to fucking relegation candidates. I agree with those who say the atmosphere is also a big factor. I feel it started with the media coverage, particularly Sky Sports, of Benitez being appointed, reminding all of the Chelsea fans of what he said in the past etc. It was the equivalent of waving a red flag and a lot of (sheepish) people took the bait. I don't think he would've got anywhere near as bad a reaction if so much coverage hadn't been done on it. It's like people saw this and said: "Hey look, we're supposed to hate Benitez!", and it snowballed from there. Booing your own manager is fucking idiotic, no matter who it is. The last thing it does is help.

Well he's more likely to break into the Malaga squad than here, so I'm happy.

These were my thoughts too. As sad as I was to see Danny go because of Goldilocks, today made me feel a little bit better because I knew he was frustrating another set of fans instead of us! Great movement and positioning, but a greedy striker who isn't even that good at finishing.

I get what you're saying, as I kind of have a similar feeling deep down; but, honestly, the Bayern & Juve part really made me giggle! No doubt they're great clubs, and from your following posts I know your speaking specifically about the present, which I would agree with. I myself see them in the top 5 clubs in Europe at the moment, but I still think you may be seeing things a bit wrong. You can't possibly compare the clubs they are at this present moment with the ones they'll be in the future, especially a team dependent on the wrong side of 25/30 (Pirlo, Buffon, Chiellini, Schweinsteiger, Robben, Ribery etc.), it just doesn't work that way. Real and Barca though are most likely the few exceptions, as they are the only two teams who I would even consider as a 'step up' for any of our players. Also, when it gets to the stage where the likes of Real and/or Barca are sniffing around Eden, you have to think of why...and why would they? Because by that stage Eden will be winning games practically by himself, just like Ronaldo (I'm not saying he will get to his level, but I don't think he'll be too far off). Because Eden will be showing his skill on the biggest stages, in the biggest games and that means: if Eden is doing so well that Real and Barca want him, we'll be doing quite damn well ourselves. It's only logical. Therefore, if Eden does become that good, we ourselves would be quite a force in Europe, meaning he might have no need to go to Real or Barca. Anyway, my point is, to think Bayern or Juve are above our stature, never mind near Real or Barca, is quite laughable if I'm honest! P.S. By this argument, Hazard will be off to Liverpool next!!! Don't kid yourself, history isn't everything.

I thought I'd take a break between late feeds and nappy changes! Seriously though, imagine if Torres went back to Liverpool...forget how Sturridge would feel, imagine Borini! Breden Rodgers barking orders at him, sitting on the bench behind Sturridge, it'd be like some sort of recurring Chelsea nightmare for him!
-
I dunno, we all know how fond of history they are! Cunts.

Oh thank god. Now we might actually buy a player that we are in more glaring need of...like a deep lying playmaker for the pivot or another striker. Preferably a DLP. I also wouldn't mind a young, cheap CB, like Jores Okore, for a number of reasons: cover if Luiz is definitely being pushed into midfield, competition, stops Brana and Cahill from getting too complacent and smart considering JT's recent injuries. Also, if Ash is definitely leaving, I wouldn't have said no to a cheeky bid on Luke Shaw...not possible now though.
-
I prefer if Frank-fucking-Lampard was given a contract than buying this lad.
-
This is a load of bullshit...and I have this feeling it's all because we didn't qualify for the CL; now the club are pulling purse strings everywhere. Imagine, less than three years ago Lamps had scored 22 goals in the league, 5th highest that year: would the board have even dared to think of not letting such a man retire at the club? And if these stories about Taison are correct, it'll piss me off even more that such money is being used towards a relatively unknown Brazilian who'll most likely have no immediate impact whatsoever and take 1yr+ to get used to the league, instead of giving Lamps a contract.
-
'Sunday People Sport'? Really? I'm not sure why people are even debating this with a 'source' like that. It doesn't even make the slightest bit of sense when there are more vital areas in need of improvement, particularly DM(s). People who honestly believe we need another AM right now need to get their priorities straight.
-
Because FSW wants a trophy to show roman he's worth signing on a longer contract. He'll blame our league position on RDM in the end.

I actually cannot think of a worse scenario: derby, QPR scum, at home, 30 years, SWP, FSW, Redknapp...it's like a nightmare. I'm not just saying that; it's actually like a nightmare come true. The great thing is, not only does our win against Everton away mean nothing, now that gives the QPR scum the impetus to fight to stay in a league where they don't belong, meaning Redknapp will stick around also. The icing on the cake is that AVB's Spurs are ahead of us and now we have a battle on our hands, wonderful. Rafa isn't worth shit. Complacency, that is what screwed us over tonight. The manager's attitude towards a game is always reflected by that of the player's on the pitch; I saw very few who looked up for it tonight, and when they did, they left it very fucking late: just like the manager. Pathetic. Torres can piss off if he's not up for it. King of meaningless goals. Get Ba in quick, get anyone, just get rid of 'the 7th highest paid player in the world', who couldn't give a shit 'if we won or lost'. Do that and sign a quality DM or two and we're sorted.
-
Well I am blaming Benitez, do you want to know why? Complacency. That is what screwed us over tonight. No, I'm not just talk about squad rotation; I'm talking about the whole teams attitude, because the manager's attitude towards a game is always reflected by that of the player's on the pitch, and I saw very few who looked up for it tonight; and when they did, they left it very fucking late. Benitez thought he could walk this game, therefore, so did the players. Do you think José would have been happy with what he saw at half time? Would he fuck. He would've ripped into his players. He would've made a change as soon as he saw a weakness in the team, hell, if it was ANY other manager, they probably would've put Mata on before/at half-time and not waited around until the 70th fucking minute to make a change, like some sort of stupid ritual. Benitez has a history of stupid decisions, fact. Now we have to deal with them until May.
-
If the fat spanish bastard doesn't come out and admit it was him that made a mistake, he can just fuck right off. Complacency, that is what screwed us over tonight. The manager's attitude towards a game is always reflected by that of the player's on the pitch, and I saw very few who looked up for it tonight; and when they did, they left it very fucking late. Pathetic.

Apologies, you can call me a 'cheeky feckin Paddy' from now on if that makes it any better! The Irish are taking over Oz now anyway!
