  1. Do you see what you've done Roman?? DO YOU SEE WHAT WE'RE REDUCED TO?!?
  2. Still wearing a red tie I see....wanker.
  3. Yeah it was...in the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL AGAINST MUNICH!! Ahem....excuse me, The Mak is very angry at the moment.
  4. I was so shocked when I saw some people before the game saying playing Bertrand was a good move. Fair enough if Mata is'nt on form, but stick Marin/Moses in there at least. My word, this was us at home. What's next for our 2 away matches? Mikel and Romeu in the pivot with Bertrand and Ramires out wide??? Fuck off Benitez.
  5. Imagine, Marin AND Moses coming on with, perhaps, Oscar dropping deep! Oh wow! But I'm not counting on Christmas coming early tbh...he'll bring on Mikel now, you watch.
  6. Every time Torres fluffs a chance, I can actually hear scousers laughing in my head...
  7. And imagine how threatening we'd be with a real striker...
  8. But Torres has a bad touch AND he doesn't score goals....
  9. Everyone is blindly passing to Torres, no matter what position he's in. Obviously, Benitez has drilled into every other player to "help him", as he puts it in his press conference. He's hoping if Torres is fed enough, he'll score. This is looking like it's going to massively back-fire on him. But hey, at least this means he'll be gone by the summer.... +Lukaku scores...
  10. This needs to pick up quick, otherwise i'll be so afraid of the next 10 games under Benitez....I mean, this is Fulham at home! ....YAY!!! GIVE THE BALL TO TORRES DAY!!!
  11. I don't like the fact that we seem settled on Luiz as our main bloody free kick taker...
  12. Sorry, I should have clarified. I was trying to make the comparison between their movement and finishing. Obviously Reus can play on the wing and is a much better passer of the ball, but I generally never compare any footballer to Ronaldo or Messi for obvious reasons...
  13. Has anyone seen this?!??!?!? My god, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT!!! http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/photos/new-book-shows-barcelona-s-depths-of-despair-slideshow/lionel-messi-s-devastation-is-plain-to-see-photo-miguel-ruiz-photo-1186423368.html
  14. Agreed. I'd understand such a bid for the likes of Marco Reus, who is a little beast of a finisher. I'm more impressed by the guy every time I see him. Especially since he's got 10 goals from 19 games already this season from midfield, but can also play up front. A much better Hernandez I would say. But Schurrle? I don't see it to be honest.
  15. Anyone watch 'Revista De La Liga' tonight? Here's one of the stories that was talked about anyway: http://www.skysports.com/tv_show/story/0,,12385_8290552,00.html Anyway, they then went on to talk about Madrid not backing Jose anymore in his bid for more control of the club (one thing mentioned was his want for Courtois to come in and challenge for no.1 spot!). With these rumblings of José, perhaps, leaving Madrid at the end of the season, who thinks he'd make a comeback for us? Who says it's not José who Roman is really waiting for? I think it's quite possible...
  16. Well that's the hope mate. I just hope all this chopping and changing managers bullshit doesn't halt the development of our three musketeers.
  17. Ah, good 'oul Kalouda...never again!!!
  18. That's what made me sick! That moment actually made me wonder what it'd be like to have Kompany as our striker! THAT'S how bad it was.
  19. As if I wasn't annoyed enough... Agree with your post completely though. At least when Studge was pushed up front he made runs. I'm not saying they were amazing runs, but they sure looked like it at the time; especially after seeing Torres up there for so long...he makes you forget what a striker is supposed to do/look like.
  20. To be fair to Cahill, I would be shitting bricks if Luiz was my defensive partner. I think they just bring out the worst in each other is all. They've no confidence in their partnership and it shows.
  21. I see Torres as a cancer that is slowly eating away our club. How we're so dependent on this flop goes beyond all logic. I'm not saying this as a result of today's performance, it's what I've felt for a long, long time. Mainly, because we all know he CAN'T do what we expected him to do for the price that was paid. For whatever reason, his legs are shot. His style that made him so successful was centered around pace, movement and reactions; he no longer has any of these attributes. An injured Kompany out-paced him today for God's sake... When I see Torres, all I see is a flop that has cost(s) us: 1. £50 million - Enough said. 2. £150k a week - Anyone know how much we've given him in total? I'm actually terrified to find out. 3. 3 managers - 1 in Ancelotti who is world class. Including all of their compensation fees. 4. 2 Strikers - Anelka and Drogba. Not including the likes of Lukaku going on loan. 5. Super Frank - Let's face it, as much as I am a fan of Oscar and Hazard, they were brought in for Torres and now Lampy has been sacrificed with those acquisitions. Call me sentimental, but today's type of game needed Frank. (I know he's injured, but perhaps he wouldn't be with more playing time) And most importantly of all I feel: 6. Time - We have wasted an awful lot of time on such a magnificent flop. From time on styles of play and formations etc., all attempting to get the best out of HIM, instead of the TEAM, to time that could have been better spent by giving players like Studge, Lukaku or youngsters a chance. Now we are about to waste more by adopting a style of play (Mikel doing very bad Alonso impersonations etc. etc.) that just won't work because it is to suit the Torres we paid for, not the one received; not fast, indecisive and timid. I know that, the way things worked out, we won the CL, which I wouldn't change for the world. However, if this guy is still here at the start of next season, Roman is either the most stubborn bastard in the world or he needs to be checked into some sort of institution, because the whole world can see we don't have a forward. The sooner he's gone and replaced, the better for the club. I'm not sure about Falcao, because people are saying he needs a certain style of play, one we might not be able to supply. But what I do know is that we need someone the opposite of Torres at the current moment; someone who is adaptable, plays to the TEAM's strength, young and hungry to succeed; be it Falcao, Lukaku, Cavani, Lewandowski etc.
  22. Would love to see Oscar dropping deep with Marin and Moses on the wings.
  23. But we also looked more vulnerable.
  24. Why the hell is Luiz taking all of out free kicks these days? I know we can hardly whip it into the box with all the little fellas, but my god, anyone else. I know we're losing lots of 1 on 1's battles and Foy isn't giving anything away, but he's still a cunt. Torres...well Rafa can't give him new legs can he?
  25. Look at Oscar while Rafa is talking; he hasn't got a notion of whats going on...10 on him to score on Sunday.
