Barkley and RLC really putting pressure on Kante-Kovacic which is great, just think that only 6 months ago our biggest problem was midfield. We can afford to rotate more and start without Kante against bottom table clubs to add extra creativity.

Try some new players in starting eleven and rest everyone for second half. I would start with something like this: Willy Azpi - Christensen - Rudiger - Emerson Drinkwater - Jorginho - RLC Willian - Abraham - Hudson Odoi

What did you expect? A win versus City? At least we try to play our style but we will need one season of ups and downs... Look at City two seasons ago, they also had a lot of trouble to adapt with better players that are more suited to this style of football. We need Michy to step up and some creative midfielder would be nice. Fabregas is poor but we don't have to worry about him when Kante comes back.

We are exposed in midfield.. Fabregas doesn't offer pressure to their midfield so they can play through with ease.

We know he is capable of better things in final third. It's his first preseason here and coming back from long term injury.. He will need some time for sure but I have high hopes for him. That nr. 10 position is there to grab it

When is he coming back?

I prefer Mitchy over him big time. I am so mad at Morata at this point that I would sell him even if we don't buy new striker. Mitchy, Giroud and Tammy..

With Sarri comments about Morata and rumours about Higuain I can't see us buying a new striker. Too bad, I think this position alongisde LB is our main weakness. Maybe some rotation player like Vecino will come but this is probably it. We can only hope Morata or maybe Mitchy will adapt to Sarri system, Emerson becomes our starting LB and one of Barkley/RLC/Fabregas claim down that starting role as AMC. But we still have enough quality to finish in TOP4 this year. Delph played LB for City last year just because their system worked..

I am becoming more and more comfortable with RLC and Barkley battling for that AMC spot in our midfield. We also have Mason Mount ready to fight for that position next season... A lot of potential. Rather invest money in some firepower upfront

It depends.. If his lower price tag compared to Bailey means another attacking player like Martial than this is big YES from me. Zaha still have room to improve on better team

That swap will probably never happen but imagine straight swap for Willian and selling Morata to buy Bailey... Hazard - Martial - Bailey

Who would you choose between Bailey and Milinkovic-Savic if you could only choose one? I am not really sure but I think Bailey would add more in terms of quality needed. I expect at least one of Barkley, Fabregas or RLC to have breakthrough in Sarri system but don't fancy Willian or Pedro that much. On the other hand Hudson-Odoi could really get his minutes if we don't buy a new winger.

We will see how this loan turns out. Lampard is a young and motivated coach with a lot of experience, I think Mount can benefit from him. I expect key role for him and good training sessions.

Imagine transfer window of Jorginho, Golovin, Bailey, Rugani, Allison, Higuain and keeping Hazard here. Woow just woow

I think that midfield of Kante, Jorginho, Golovin, Bakayoko, Barkley and RLC would be a very good midfield in terms of quality and depth. Both RLC and Barkley also able to play some minutes on the wing.

Today or tomorrow, otherwise Conte is staying and Chelsea will fight for top10 next season...

Christensen and Rudiger are our only ball playing CBs. We need depth and this is probably the most important position alongsige DM in Sarri system.
