He should be our starting LWB but Barcelona will come to soon I think
-
I hope we can see Giroud and Morata in the same lineup someday
-
That could change with attacking minded manager who could recognize attacking potential in those youngsters. Just look at Conte tactics - 7 defensive minded players and hoping that Hazard can produce something. There is no place for young attacking players in this system...
-
If we see another 343 with Cahill in the back 3 than I hope Conte gets fired tbh Don't need to change formation but some players should stay away from starting eleven and our team needs more attacking power, I would go for: Courtois Azpi - Christensen - Rudiger Willian - Kante - Fabregas - Emerson Pedro/Hudson - Giroud - Hazard
-
Are you telling us that this squad isn't capable of beating Bournemouth and Watford let alone being humiliated ... ????
-
But this is what we have. Too much moaning about our players but defensive minded tactis are still there and it seems that Conte likes those kind of midfielders... He could start Barkley in midfield alongside Kante and Hudson Odoi as winger but he is too predictable. Kante - Bakayoko and 3 at the back could only work with offensive allaround wingbacks so I don't understand why Willian and Pedro are not played there sometimes..
-
No future for this kid at Chelsea with current style of football/management
-
His plate seems to be pretty full with capable attacking players around him Not having to play with 7 defensive minded players surely suits him Hattrick on his debut?
-
They have 14 more games to play in Bundesliga and he will probably score around 8-10 goals with few more in Europa league But Conte rather played with false 9 just because Michy is not a classic target man who can hold up long balls ... or maybe he is just too young
-
Haven't you heard yet? We have a target man now, Big Sam tactic is on its way
-
This is what you get when you field 5 defenders and 2 defensive midfielders We have MUCH better team than Bournemouth and poor transfer window shouldn't be an excuse to lose 3-0 against them without proper chance to even score ... Bakayoko is being criticized a lot but are we really expecting him to be a creative force? His role in this formation is wrong on so many levels tbh We are playing really poor football for whole month now and something like this was expected sooner rather than later. We were lucky to knockout Norwich, should have lost against Leicester if they didn't get the red card and got eliminated by poor Arsenal side ... not to mention below average performance against Newcastle where we got lucky with two counter attacks and everyone though that we are back on track With this said I expect same 343 formation against Watford ...
-
He is progressing really well, one of the best players in last two months A lot of attacking potential in our academy and "loan army" but I can't see Conte introducing them anytime soon
-
He played 90 minutes in cup game against Torino in December. Have a look at that game if you have time, he was pretty good for his first start after ACL injury.
-
He just likes to complain about our squad quality/depth when we are not playing well
-
Probably their last 10minutes for Chelsea this season
-
We are 3-0 up, bring Musonda and Hudson-Odoi in!!
-
Too bad he is only average in things that really matters for wing back
-
Poor fitness level of our subs apparently as they are only ready to play 10 minutes or less?
-
-
He is actually really good
-
Our overall game is still poor IMO They have been a better side in this first half but fair play to Bats for good positioning
-
Not to mention Jay DaSilva, great LB/LWB potential But this is something we will have to accept ... buying average players for 20-30M every transfer window when youngsters could take their place easily I would rather see us spend 80-100M on one player every summer and integrate those kids alongisde Rotation or backup player in Chelsea, training with top coaching staff alongside experience players that can help you a lot > First team player out on loan Not to mention that some young players could push for starting eleven if they are given a proper chance to prove themselves
-
Our right wingbacks are Moses and Zappacosta, two VERY average players ... on the other hand we have Aina loaned out, having a very good season, player with worldclass (or at least Chelsea level) potential but he won't get a proper chance ...
-
Sorry guys but I don't get it ... players like Ampadu, Musonda and Hudson-Odoi (not to mention all loaned out players with high ceiling) should just leave this club and make something out of themselves, they will just stagnate here with no proper chance And we will probably hear about tired key players when we struggle against Bournemouth on Wednesday. Kante is playing every match in a position where he needs 100% stamina. Hazard could use some rest, he was pretty average in last few games ...

3 times MoTM in last 6 games
