In the everton game, we were lucky but everton too were lucky that we have shit torres as our striker. I think we've been better defensively and even peter cech said we are playing better in an interview. Against corinthians, we missed chances to the extent that the keeper was named the man of the match. Against west ham, we could have been 4-0 up at halftime but we missed chances again. The only matches benitez really fucked up was against fulham and 2nd half west ham in my opinion. We are not playing fluent barcelona style yet and we will never be under rafa but you have to give him a little credit here.

Exactly, he jumps early or heads it off target. Hopes he sorts it out before coming back to chelsea.

Makes excellent runs, has a bad first touch but makes up for it with his strength and speed. I'm a bit dissapointed with his heading but I'm sure he is better than that.

Okay I get what you mean about the stats now. But without lampard on the pitch, we won just 21%, that's still too bad. The 66% win stats actually are matches he played in, not just being in the squad.

Yeah, he's always trying to make runs and get behind the defenders. And he has the strength and speed to match

It was in the first half he was the worst along with ramires. He lost the ball anytime an everton player closed him down I was literally screaming.... But he grew some balls in the 2nd half and didn't just kick the ball away when osman closed him down.

I looked at our team sheet today and saw that only mata and lampard are proper "important matches" goal scorers in our team. I just hope demba ba adds to that cos torres just disapears too much in important times, its appauling.

This is what I'm talking about. Looking at these stats pple will think lampard and luiz had a horrible game. When lamps got 2 goals and luiz gave a glorious pass to torres. But these stats don't show effort and determination during the match, which lampard and luiz have 100% more than mikel in that pivot. Being too calm is not good for some premier league games.

I thought ramires was horrible for most of the game on the wing, except 2 runs and the cross for the assist.

Let's not get too excited, we didn't deserve to win the game. Everton hit the post twice, the bar, cech and turnbul made a save and jelavic missed a clear chance right at the end. More like a grinded out result right there...
