Our strikers seem to create fuck all by themselves except torres against mancity. And that is what suarez does in every single game. Our strikers remind me of soldaldo where the ball has to be placed in front of him in front of the keeper before he can score. Suarez and aguero on the other hand can dribble 2 pple in the box and score. We would have far more goals than we have now if our strikers can create chances on their own.

Mata was a victim of our poor finishing. There was one southampton game at the bridge where he created so many chances but we missed a lot of them. Some other games like everton where he played we paid for missed chances and we didn't defend well then conceded and lost the match. If we are not scoring our chances, we can't afford to be bad at the back. If we had a top striker to be burying mata's chances, he probably will still be here and mourinho can afford us to concede 2 goals at the back if we end up scoring 4-5 a game like he did at madrid.

I know. Ribery is a 15 goals, 20 assists player. Fantastic for every team to have. Hazard should have had more assists than he's had now. Against stoke, mancity and westham alone he created 3 clear goal chances per match. But he's not shooting, enough in my opinion. His shooting is at about 1.5-2 shots per game which is low for his quality on the ball. Matches like against westham where even lampard is missing clear cut chances, we need him to take the mantle and bail us out sometimes. If he shoots more, he'll get better at it, and I'm sure he'll surpass ribery's level quicker than we expect. This is what he needs to do to step up. Probably if hazard gets 25goals, 20assists every season, that is world class level above ribery and that's where I want him to be at.

We all know this deep down in our minds. But we just hope he becomes close to ronaldo/messi level, scoring 25-30 goals a season instead of just being at ribery's level

Are you guys sure? Mandzukic is a very good finisher. One of the best headers of the ball, target man for ivanovic crosses and cech goal kicks, played the same system we are using now with bayern last season so successfully. I like his movement in the box too. He even has similar teammates last season to what we have now:- Ribery - hazard ; muller - oscar; Robben - salah/wilian Javi martinez - Matic He will fit into our high pressing system like a glove especially since he is a team player with high work rate for a striker. I didn't think he was available before, but lewandowski is going there and fits tiki taka better than him. That's not a negative by any means because even the great ibrahimovic did not suit tiki taka. if he is available for 20mil, I'll get him ahead of costa even.

Rooney (plays counter attacking under ferguson, but in a 2 striker system) 5. Costa (plays counter attacking, but played with 2 striker system almost all the time) Not all these are available too. So in terms of availability, cost and realistically 1. Costa (Pay 32mil clause and he's yours) 2. Mandzukic (lewandoski has come to replace him, gotze plays as striker in some games while he's on the bench. Not happy about that surely) 3.
