Best of luck for the rest of your life. It's a shame I never got to know you much, but the members of this forum have great respect for you and you have left a lasting mark.

Now when things are going rubbish it's incredible how the things most people loved about him are now what they hate the most ;p. A year ago arguing and fighting for every decision with the referee was toughness and showing great team spirit. A year later arguing and fighting for every decision with the referee is childishness. Some people honestly change their colours faster than a chameleon ;p

Yea I often feel that too, they often don't make the right sort of off the ball movement thus it becomes easy to mark them and they thus easily lose the ball once they get it or you can force them easily to the side you want to.

Slap? More like medieval torture....

Never though I'd say this but: Mayweather's last fight will be more interesting than an away game to Everton.... Thank you, that will definitely make me look forward to the game more. Just kiddin'

haha 2nd season fatigue right? When things were going sweet - we loved that, now when 'Rome is collapsing' we hate it

You can also always rough up some of the more skillful/smaller players. I dunno maybe we're just thinking in an archaic manner..... (not that I'm saying Costa is better than Aguero!)

I'm not really angry at Ivanovic, angry at Mourinho. He's just not fit to play in the RB position yet Mourinho sold a proper LB (Filipe Luis) bought another (Baba Rahman) and still seems to think playing an RB out of positon and a CB at RB is the sensible thing to do. I don't think it is fair to criticse a player for performing poorly when he's playing out of position. What's incredible is we've paid big money for these LBs so they can warm our bench while we play a CB at RB..... That is like purchasing a giant LED TV only to keep it in its box while you continue to use your old tiny CRT TV set. Meanwhile you complain that your current TV's display sharpness is poor.

And good memory compared to most other managers. Many people associated with the sport, can hardly remember a thing lol

A friend and I have been wondering for a while why Coentrao stays at Madrid? Since we're talking about full backs, could he not have been an option to sign (not saying we shouldn't have signed Rahman)? He's a good player who hardly receives as much playing time as he deserves and could be at any other good club in the world. Also he's Portugese and is it not true that Mourinho likes him a lot?

Along with all the cricket players!

Haha, you could say a straight line has 2 points. Which is much more than us right now ;p

Thank you for your response! Indeed. I personally was surprised (including a few British friends I have) about why Mourinho wasn't playing Filipe Luis at LB and Azpi at RB? Surely it would have been a far more sensible thing to do? Although I love Ivanovic!! Yes Ivanovic does an excellent job at CB and a role as a veteran CB is one he'd flourish in. What do you think about promoting our younger players who play in those positions you believe we need to strengthen? Many are calling for a robust CDM to partner Matic but we don't need to look further than Loftus Cheek tbh. 42 Million pounds does seem a lot for Isco but if we can get him for 35, then not too bad I guess as he has great positional versatility. Yes some late transfer window pressure can often cause teams to panic and make rash decisions. Do you think a guy like Moutinho might demand a move too soon? I know he's out for a month but once fit - how much do you value him at?

ONE OF THE GREATEST STORY YOU'LL EVER HEAR ABOUT! https://instagram.com/p/6aXCJ2JFi5/?taken-by=jhharrison92

Do you no think we should be playing Azpi at RB and Baba Rahman at LB? Also how much do you estimate Isco would cost? Cheers.

Welcome to TalkChelsea! I support all the teams from Dallas although I struggle to find time to watch much baseball or hockey. So Mavericks, Cowboys, Rangers, Stars and I have a lot of respect for Brady and the Patriots (doubt you've heard that much throughout this deflate gate saga )

Ah sorry mate sounded like that. Internet is really terrible when it comes to judging tone..... To be frank it's based on what you hear from people who are there and also the television screen and also the fans' behaviour in the crowd. The Pats fans aren't as loud as Seahawks fans, Seattle's fans are mental! I'd recommend having a look at some YouTube videos of the atmosphere there. I know the television isn't the best indicator but it's fairly obvious that BVB fans are louder than Arsenal fans for example and as I mentioned earlier that Warriors fans are much louder than the silent observers in Brooklyn. It's also fairly obvious, I assume, for you - from your television screen to guess that Apoel fans here are much louder than Chelsea fans (something which my peers never fail to remind me.... as well as constantly reminding me that Apoel drew 2-2 at Stamford Bridge and how their fans are much more passionate). I'm a big basketball fan too and watch the NBA all year round (because I missed most of the Playoffs during the Exams I've been watching the Playoffs on recording during the summer), and I play basketball as well. Yes, I agree that TV isn't the best indicator. I have an American football in my home but no one knows how to play it here so there's no way I can play football. but regarding the top post, it's pretty obvious that the crowd is much louder during a Playoff game at 3rd and long than on 1st down during a regular season game.

Interesting! Are you a professor? What are you talking about in your presentation? (I saw the still before you click play....)
-
We could have as a matter of fact.
-
Why did you quote me with an empty post? OOPS EDIT I MEANT LOUDER THAN THE BARCLAYS CENTER!!!! SORRY!
-
Surely you can't crack that joke on your own team
-
Ik mate, don't worry.
-
It seems as though people can't voice their opinion anymore without being bitter, or maybe it's cos they're behind the safety of a monitor..... I have never been to the US but do you seriously think it's not obvious that the Oracle is not louder than the Barclays Center? EDIT: LOUDER THAN THE BARCLAYS CENTER!!!! THAT'S WHY IT'S CALLED THE ROARACLE!

I'm not defending Benitez or attacking Mourinho. Merely stating a fact. Well then if "we f****** hated that guy to begin with" then one's opinion should certainly not carry any weight due to the obvious bias. Win the league? With that team?
