Sportinglife My only concern is the lack of depth we have. Its not as strong as we once had. LFS has said he intends to bring on a few of the reserve side this season, but it remains to be seen if thats going to be the case. We have strengthened our week spots in RB and a creative midfielder. Already we have 4 players out who would easily start any game for us in Deco, Essien, Joe Cole and Kalou. If we pick up another injury or two like these we could begin to have problems. If we're going to push for the title we'll need to be very lucky injury wise or do some spending come Jannuary. For me the title is a must, the C/L is a bonus.

Ironic considering they are going to be doing exactly the same thing come January/ the summer. SWP had many chances to fulfill his potential but never lived up to the hype. Sidwell and Ben Haim were both brought in on free transfers on the basis that JM was told he had no money to spend and these 2 players were available .

We scored after 3 minutes or something against Wigan and it finished 1-0.......early goals dont really mean the other team will collapse. As long as we win I dont care if we score in the 1st minute or the 91st minute.

Stoke may have got a point off the scousers the other week, but they were on the defensive basically the whole match and the scousers had about 20+ shots on goal. Cow-arse-banjo comes to mind..... Anyway.... If Joe Cole is injured it could be an ideal opportunity for Kalou to step in. He and Malouda have been looking better recently and with goals comes confidence. We should come away with 3 points. Time to give them a reality check
