I am doing what? I very rarely post GIFs or jokes outside the General Threads... To be quite honest, some of those complaining (you, zolayes, etc) post more 'funny' stuff in innapropriate places than I do! I just find stupid and immature to think your opinion is more valid than the majority in here. It is a loser reaction.
-
LOL, this has become ridiculous! People are overreacting to their bones, especially those defending 'football' discussions/members/whatver...
-
Than you cant come and say 'it was [higher] though'. Because it was only better for people like you and Terminator X. It doesnt mean it was really better, it is just your own opinions!Sorry if I am rude, but people just like to moan because new members rule the party nowadays...
-
First, it was a joke.Second, that is what you think. It doesnt make it a fact. Again people confusing their own opinions with facts! Third, this bullshit of 'back then' it was so much better (not only regarding you nor the forum) gets on my nerves.

JT is not the saint some think, but he is not a scumbag either... -
Why? Are the winners shorter now?

Hahahaha, you do have a point! I just am of the opinion nominations and a poll is by far the best possible format for the award. It is how democracy is... It is just like The Oscars, there will always be criticism and people upset with who they think should or shouldnt win it. But in the end, whoever got the most votes wins and people just have to suck it. Be that for reason number 1, 2 or 3.
-
Wow, staff choosing the members is a bit anti-democratic, dont you think? CHOULO took the words out of my mind, this is a democracy and the best way to enforce it is by making people equally important, aka: universal voting. No one's opinion is more valid than others, and if the majority decides a certain member deserves to win, so be it. It doesnt matter the reasons behind their logic, it is not more valid if you chose the award winner for football/posting reasons or not! It is ridiculous for members to come here criticizing someone they think doesnt deserve it because he didnt give his greatest contributions in the football threads or hasnt been that much active!!! I got very upset with some people when WHS won it, for insrance... Blocking the past two/three winners is a good way to allow some rotation in it, but I have already suggested that when I won it last November and I was ignored. So it is nice to see Alex giving it a thought. Anyways, the format is fine, people who dont get voted will always complain though, no matter how it is done...

English players are not bad because top teams have foreigners, but top teams dont use english players exactly because they are bad!

LMFAO! :lol2: You are just having exporting your FM experiences to real life and thinking it will work. During the extremely rare periods in which two-three starting attacking players get injured/suspended, the depth will be there to propve your points. But in 80+% of the time, you get a huge unhappiness and individualism in the dressing room! There is absolutely no need to have a squad with 7-8 dudes for 3 positions. The egos start to get in the way and they fuck with the entire squad... The examples are all out there: PSG, Real Madrid, Manchester City, etc.

Can we just stop trying to change things?!?

WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?

OH FUCK, Oscar twisted his ankle today in the training session of Brazil's NT! I hope it is nothing serious...

I am relatively happy Arsenal signed Ozil actually!

Hahaha, I know mate, I wasnt expecting Europeans to watch South American leagues. There is no appealing reason to do so. But Oscar and Neymar were hyped since forever, so I thought the news would have already arrive in Europe before their caps...No matter what though, professional scouts from big clubs have the obligation to follow SA football, IMO. The vast majority of the worldwide talent comes from latin cultures (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Argetina, Chile, etc) and Chelsea youth managers must be aware of what is happening here!
-
I always get astonished that people in Europe have never heard of him before he signed for Chelsea. I'd swear big clubs around the world were all fighting to try to sign him...Oscar was a long time familiar name in Brazil's youth team. Him and Neymar have been in the media ever since 9-10 years old. For instance, former Sao Paulo FC coach Muricy Ramalho would leave the first team's training sessions to specificly assist Oscar in his development. Which is just one of the examples that show how much faith everyone had/have in the kid. People say Oscar will be better than Kaka, he is a pure modern midfielder who has every bit of the necessary talent to succeed. He defends and attacks with incredible quality and that is very rare. I really believe in my fellow Brazilian!!!
