Wowowow, stop! You cant use people of different generations in the same argument, they didnt play an World Cup together! Of course they dont (apart from Neymar), but name me one Brazilian squad who had that many better promissing players in their 20s than we have right now. Just one...

That is not what I was saying! You were giving an example about Scotland and I was saying it wouldnt cut it in Brazil.... You have no idea what it means to be a manager in Brazil (not specifically in the NT). You are using an European mentality to understand how things happens down here. This is what is stupid, not my argument! There is real pressure in managers picking the players the media and the population wants and it really leads to sacking. You might not believe it because that is not how things happen in Europe, but it is how things happen here. So yeah, this is indeed an argument towards someone not being called. People often ask why some players dont get called and the reason is because there isnt aclamation for them to be called. And because we have many players, there will always be one in the same position who will be popular amongst the fans. It is simple as that and it actually happens. Also, that wasnt even my argument, I was just explaing what Jcar said.

The things you agree with him are simply totally wrong! You are basically saying fuck his notion of nation and lets play for whatever country he thinks he will have the better chance of playing/winning. This is absolutely disgusting! And even putting the FIFA rules in the middle is pathetic. You dont do something moraly wrong because there is a law and consequences preventing you from doing so, you dont do it because it is wrong and end of story. This is why comunism is so utopic, btw! I have no respect for guys who think like him (in that particular matter). Playing for a NT means a whole lot more than a professional benefit (well, it should), and the arguments you are using to defend him all go against that notion. You are defending him because he has the right to choose since its allowed. But I never said it was ilegal for him to play for Spain, I am saying it is moraly wrong. He is Brazilian when its convenient, but Spanish when its not. That is what I am mad at. Everything just makes me have immense respect for the players who play for the country they feel they belong to, even though it is not what is best for them: Giggs, Bale, Moses, etc.

That is highly unfair, you are comparring entire careers with players who just moved to Europe to begin their jurneys... Also, talent doesnt win WCs. 1982 is there for everyone to see it. You need enough talent and will, which is something I believe these set of players have. They are better than 1994, for instance. Anyways, all I said is that I think they will end up winning a World Cup by the end of their professional careers. It is just a feeling, nothing more!

This post just oozes lack of knowledge about Brazil and its people and culture...Not that you should know anything about us, we are fucking useless, but dont go heavily criticizing if you dont know the reasons behind it. Please! One thing will already make you understand half of your doubts/critics you are having: Brazilian League IS valued by the people here! What Jcar92 is trying to say is that the population and the media here puts pressure on the managers for some players to be called (200mi fanatics fans is a little bit different than in Scotland mate). So, if they dont watch Diego Costa, it is hard for him to be unanimosly amongst Brazilians...

Of those teams, I think only Germany and Belgium have the same level of young talent as Brazil. But I see where you are coming from and I agree. It is just that I think we will have way too much talented players for them to not be able to win a World Cup. I highly doubt the likes of Neymar and Oscar will finish their careers without a World Cup victory in their resumes. Nevertheless, in no way I was assuming we are better than anyone or that we are favourites. I was only posting an opinion of mine - that those young players will end up winning one of the WCs they end up playling.

A typical answer from someone who has got no clue of what happens in Brazil! Fred and Jo were on fire at the time they were called. And if you ask me, they delivered beyond expected in the Confederations Cup. They did a better job than Diego Costa would, so dont call it ridiculous if you didnt watch them playing for their clubs...
-
But he could have been called by Del Bosque as well and was also snubed. We had Fred, Spain didnt even had a single decent striker at the Conf Cup. Brazil, as of now, has called Diego twice. Spain never did, they only started insinuating the possibility weeks ago!Mate, just answer me with all your honest: was there any reason to call Diego Costa before the start of this season to play for the five time champions that Brazil is? Players must prove themselves before playing for their nation and not the other way around. But above all, your nation is where you feel at home, where you feel you belong. Not the team who you think you will play the most or the team you think will have more chances of winning. Anyways, my problems with Diego Costa are all stated in both my and Barbara's posts above, so I wont prolong myself. I just cant see how people are reacting as if Brazil and Scolari are some sort of vilan...
-
That is what makes me lose my temper. How did you all get to that conclusion? Huh?
-
All true, but I dont think he humiliated us. I think that is too strong of a word for the fuck all that Diego Costa means! As Jcar92 said: we have 5 (FIVE!) fucking stars, have had the best players of all time and trashed Spain in the Confederations Cup. Diego Costa doesnt scare me at all and I didnt even wanted him to be called up....
-
Hahahaha, true! Neymar, Oscar, Bernard, Willian, Lucas, Ramires, Paulinho, Hernanes, Luiz Gustavo, Thiago Silva, Dante, etc, are way too good to not win a World Cup. If not next year, definitely in 2018. I have no doubt!

I dont think he has any right to do so because he already played for Brazil when no one in Spain wanted him! It is a superb hipocracy to play for two countries. You either feel you belong to one nation or another. You cant go choosing one country after have already participated in a different country before. This isnt club football!!! My problem is not with players wanting to player for X, Y or Z. If you have the citzenship, than it is up to you. However, the reasons behind the decision must be cultural and sentimental, not in any way professional. There are many, many, example of players who were born in one country but play for another. That is fine by me. But Diego Costa's situation is a whole lot different!!! The fucking traitor that Diego is has no respect for either Brazil nor Spain. He is just using them both to elevate his career and decided to go for the one he thinks he has more chances of being a starter. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC! International football is all about representing your nation (be that the one you were born or not). And not just another tournament for players to want to participate in. That is why I have so much respect for the likes of Giggs, Bale, etc, and no respect for Diego Costa. As a citizen of Brazil And Spain (I can prove that for you if you dont believe), I feel absolutely insulted by Diego Costa playing for either one!!!!

What? How do you guys view it? For me, death is simply the end of life and there is nothing after it...
-
I hope Negredo, Soldado and Torres end up being picked ahead of him in the World Cup!
-

Jayjay? LMAO! No, seriously...If I was already old and had lived all good moments of life, I would sleep with Isis Valverde and happily die after cuming!
-
Still, I think she needed to be extremely gorgeous to be worth the risk of dying, no?
-
Meh, there are plenty of those around!
-
Shut up, stop talking nonsense! He is a nobody still, no one cared about him until now. Players prove themselves first and then they get called up, it is not the pther way around. There is no 'if we rated him fairly'. Spain also couldnt care less about him until a couple of months ago... When he was first called to Brazil and Spain still didnt care about him, he accepted it. Now, he is a true Spanish citzen!!! Go fuck you Diego Costa, if you are Spanish, then dont accept playing for Brazil in the first place!!!

LOOOOL, you are a definite case of functional illiteracy! :lol2: Spain HAVE won the World Cup with 5 regular Brazilian starters (but I dont remember if they actually played all the matches or if they rotated). This is point one! Secondly, I said I watched the 2008 Futsal WC and there was trully many Brazilian-born players in their squad. Which doesnt mean they won that match. Clearly enough to you or you need me to draw?
