  1. That is why they invented the mute button...
  2. I wonder why Jose isnt repeating our offebsive players. How will we have some consistency?
  3. I dont care what you said, I will ignore you if I want to, not if you tell me! I even tried to ignore you, but the amount of factually wrong stuff you say is absurd, I cant contain myself. The funny part is that I dont even need to prove it because other members already showed how wrong your posts are... Above all, Uruguay legalized marijuana because the government wants to have more control over it and end up with the drug dealers and thugs who used to sell it. By doing so, they think they can sell it for less and prevent people from comitting crimes (which makes a lot of sense). It has nothing to do with it being bad or not. They never said they are legalizing marijuana because it doesnt cause harm. All they are trying to do is provide a 'safe' way for people to produce and consume it. Besides, there are a bunch of legal stuff that are a lot worse than marijuana anyway... So, once again your logic goes to waist. You should really try to learn about the things you say beforing posting. It is reaching a laughable state!
  4. Jesus Christ, do you think before posting? Legalizing marijuana brings a lot of benefits, independently if it causes damages or not...
  5. When you say Messi is mediocre (which mean average), it gets really hard for people not to call you ignorant (and that is because The Skipper is very polite). Neither in mine!I would much prefer to have Ronaldo in my team than Messi. But that is not why so many members called you out. It was because you said Lionel was not a very good player (which is a completely dumb statement)... Sorry, but I only spoke the truth in all times we disagreed. I honestly believe some of your comments were/are stupid. I am not going to apologize for those things! 1. UK and British people would not have been 'gone' if you had lost the war. Saying you would is wrong because Japan and Germany lost the war and they are still here (and both are a better countries - statistics wise - than France and England, I might add). You were the one who got all sensitive and thought I was critizing the ribbon thing. 2. Calling another nation's president by 'Mr. President' (which is something not even Americans do) is diplomatically wrong. It is like me calling Queen Elizabeth, 'My Queen'. You dont bowl down to a chief of state if not your own! All you got to do is know basic diplomacy. And again, I wasnt criticizing your post towards JFK, I was just (initially) making a joke. 3. Disagreeing with the majority who thinks Messi is one of the best players ever is one thing. But saying he is average (I repeat, average) is one of the most stupid things a football fan can say! Anyone who thinks a player like Messi isnt amazing has serious problems. All I can say is that this person doesnt know a single thing about the sport of football. It is that simple! I have nothing against you, but you do say some very weird stuff...
  6. Exactly! Saying Ronaldo is better is one thing (and it basically comes down to personal preference), but saying Messi is not good is absolutely pathetic. Sorry, but whoever says Messi is mediocre is plain stupid. Such a statement shows who some know absolutely nothing about football...
  7. Because Messi is mediocre right?
  8. Of course! Didier deserves a big reception in Stamford Bridge. Imagine how epic that would be!
  9. We cant face English teams, Zenit and Milan are not great (imo) and Leverkusen is beatable...
  10. Fernanda Lima will co-host the Ballon D'or alongside Ruud Gullit!
  11. It is a worry for the people of Brazil, not for whom is travelling to the World Cup...Those types of events are absolutely horrible and show a lot of what is wrong with Brazilian football, but to link them with the World Cup is very naive! I dont want to prolong myself much, but for you to have a perspective, the price of the cheapest World Cup ticket is five times higher than the average price those animals payed. You guys talk a lot about how the vibrant English fans were priced out and how it changed the charecterictis of the fans who go to games regularly. So, it is the same thing. The social class that will watching the games in 2014 is totally different than those who produce such shameful fights (or more like wars). When you analyse a country with such inequality like Brazil, it is like there are two different countries inside one. This video shows one Brazil, and the one the tourists will experience is a whole lot different. Things the population dont necessarilly have (like safety, transport, etc) will all be present during the tournament. Whoever comes here for the World Cup will have police, doctors, guides, state of the art facilities, infra-structure, etc. It will be exactly like South Africa, people will be able to see poverty and there will be dangerous places, etc. But in the main attractions and games, things will (probably) run perfectly... I actually didnt know there was a "General Football Thread" (lol), but as soon as it happened I posted on the "Brazilian NT Thread" saying that it has reached a point you cant even take your family to watch football on a Sunday afternoon. Pathetic really! The only thing that gives me a little bit of hope (very little, only a tiny bit) is that this was a chain of messed up events. Atletico Paranaense is using a second tier stadium in an unprepared small city due to the renovations for the World Cup, the police was prevented from entering the stadium due to an exclusivity contract form a very badly trained private security, the two hooligan groups had already been punished because of fights earlier in the season, it was the last week of the league with one of the teams facing relegation, etc. The two clubs were asking for it to be quite honest. Events like that are unlikely to reoccur, specially with the modernization that is going on right now... However, I am still very skeptical, those scenes are absolutely surreal and it is hard to find something positive coming out of my country atm. It is true that things are improving and I do try very hard to have hope, but it is depressing. I am just glad nobody died!
  12. I really dont want Mourinho to go crazy in the transfer window! I would prefer to wait until the summer, have guys like Lukaku and Chalobah back and sign the right players at the right time... If this means no title this season, whatever, I prefer to look long term.
  13. What an unnecessary thread! Why not just post it somewhere and create a thread only if the story ends up being worth it?
  14. But he is the one deciding to play Cahill and Torres, so your argument goes to waist...If he thinks he cant make the team play well with Torres and Cahill, he shouldnt have loaned Lukaku and used abother CB (Kalas, for instance).
  15. Although I agree with this, who is responsible for training our defense? It goes both ways. He has mertis for the way our attacking trio is playing (it has immensily improved), but so he does have blame for the horrible way we are reacting to defensive set pieces...
  16. Exactly, they are the only ones not slipping up AT THE MOMENT.
  17. I am not afraid of Arsenal nor City, but I dont trust our team either...
