It seems like wasnt what I was expecting but I will accept that!

MAN! Do your research better. Right after piazon finishes his 1st answer...
-
He said both, just go back a few pages... Have you ever watched the Oscar, Golden Globe, UEFA Event, etc? Have your paid attention to how we translate them?
-
Yours is wrong and he did! 1st: You can not tell if he was happy to have scored or played well. it was both because was at the end. that is why I wrote "it". 2nd: you do not need to translate (tell him it was) and you just changed the same sentence. You should learn that transation is not about word by word, it is about keeping the meaning (that is why I explicited wrote I was paraphrasing). 3rd: YES HE DID SAY "fala qualquer coisa"!

I like the alienation of Brazilian football Not a single soul knows anything about it...makes us look cult
-
I fell the same! I only hope we can hang on to EPL (not more than 10 points from leader) and finish to 1st on UCL. (January)
-
WOW.... I feel disgusted, no words.
-
Well, you are right, it is true. But I view him as very similar to Hazard or Ronaldo or Piazon (not talking about quality), they can play as #9, but he is not truly one. You could count him as a #9, but wouldnt be your senior player.
-
Yes, Vargas is quite good! However he is not a striker. He played for Universidad del Chile, Napoli just bought him (winter transfer window). He was brought in to replace Lavezzi, he always played behid number 9.

I'm shocked by the pessimism here. Ok, we havent played great football (specially double pivot) but this is not Juventus! Chelsea is far superior... C'mon Blues! Chelsea 3-0 Stoke
-
I always have a smile on my face when I hear Spuds and Europa League in the same sentence
-
I get you, but we stil gotta sell our fish for a good price... MODS: Why dont you guys move it to Torres thread? It is the same discussion here and there!
-
Oscar 1st answer: Yeah, it was a great goal, I was playing very well and it made me very happy. Oscar: “Fala qualquer coisa” (just say anything), I guess he saw Piazon struggling and said for him to give any answer. Piazon laughed! Oscar 2nd answer: There wasn’t much to do, I decided to create some space and it worked (paraphrasing), then I was fortunate to score this great goal. EDIT: The translation was not a lot different, but it did change the meaning of some quotes...
-
PIAZON IS A FUCKING BAD TRANSLATOR!!! I apreciate that fact he was trying to help though.

It is not just Chelsea. Most European Clubs are quiet. Barcelona, RM, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Bayern...all the same. I dont know why, it is just how people react. Maybe it is a cultural thing. Turkish big 2, Borussia, Atletico Madrid and Chorinthians are the loudest I know of. Corinthians are preparing a big party for CWC, they have sold out already...Hope we silence them!

European teams are very popular in Brazil, I mean, really popular! When ESPN first came to Brazil (1997) it tried to buy the rights for Brazileirao, but it always got outbided by Globo (open channel). Early 2000s they decided to go for international sports (NFL, NBA, EPL, SERIE A, LA LIGA) and it got extremely popular... You can often see European Jerseys in the streets, big matches always trend on Twitter and for the past years UCL Final was shown on open channels. I have some friends that prefer abroad football as well. It is not bullshit when Oscar says he dreams of playing for Chelsea. A lot of youngsters have European Clubs as their final desirable destination! TOP CLUBS: 1- Barcelona 2- RM 3- Milan 4- Man Utd 5- Chelsea 6- Arsenal 7- Inter / Juve La Liga giants are on top by a fair margin, but Milan, Man Utd and Chelsea are equally splitted. I would put Barca and Real with 4-5 million fans and EPL and Serie A with 2-3 million. It is pretty high actually, but it can grow. Top Brazilian clubs have 20-30 million fans... Of course Brazilians have their home teams as 1st suport but they follow very closely their European 2nd team. Chelseal has an official fan base in Brazil. You can buy membership, tickets (that is how I bought my Munich ticket) and official Chelsea material from them. They also organize trips to London, bar encounters to see games, etc. It is one of few official fan clubs outside Europe!

HAHAHA Nice to see an english commentator getting excited after a goal!
-
Yes, I guess you are right. But it was not only no Didier Legend Drogba and plus Hazard, some nice attacking players came (Moses, Marin, Pscar) that will make a difference.
-
I'm just confused... Last 2 years we had some serious problems with creativity. Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Moses and Marin came in. All have great quality. Now, our defense is beeing a big issue. We need to change formation right away or buy players on DM that fit the role (since we are low on this particular position). We correct one end and the other start to collapse...
-
NO WAY! Leave it open so Falcao can come in...
-
I have a bad feeling about the outcome of this topic...
-
Mate, I agree with your opinion, but not with your argument. Beeing a Brazilian I would sure apreciate Lampard wearing our 10! For me, it would be an honor. It is true that Oscar is handling it firmly and doing great, but Super Frank was one of the greatest CAM of the 2000s. We are currently playing a 22 year old (Ganso) and a 21 year old (Oscar). Lamps ability and experience would be much welcomed. Brazilians would surely be happy!

Hey man, please stop! Why you have to be so black or white. Cant there be an agrement in your life? You dont own the truth of the universe! You dont want RM to win, some others do. You think hip hop is horrible, others dont. Saying something is the worst/most in anything is pretty strong. Sorry but you just seem so remorsed... EDIT: Btw, this is getting completely Off Topic.
