Yes, I am actually Messi groupie, so I watch Barcelona a lot (Valverde out ^^). I don't rate him at all. He has the luck to have played a very high possession based football. If he played for us in a way better League, he would get exposed all the time. Yes,he is very important for Barcelona style of play and a Key Player in the way Barcelona play, but play him in a average Team and he will get exposed.He is not a great tackler at all and he sometimes lets everything to wide open and in PL that costs Games. Yes, if he played for Man City, he could play his game but City plays more tiki taka than Barcelona right now. I think that we probably need to improve LB because Alonso is not that good,but I actually rate Emerson because he actually is a pretty good tackler, especially before his injury. After his hamstring injury, he seems a little bit rusty, but that can happen. Offensive wise, Emerson was pretty good before his injury too. Obviously against Man City, Mahrez destroyed him after that dribbling but Kovacic could have done better too. I would say if Emerson does not get to his best form til end of Season, then we may have a Problem, but I expect Emerson to be back to a Good form. Still tackling rates should be higher than Emersons due to the fact that he plays most of the time not high quality wingers compared to PL defenders.Also his attacking stats are not that impressive. He is getting more and more criticism for his unprofessionalism, but is it not as bad as when Dembele was in Germany. But his criticism is justified. It also seems that he does not like Favre. Sancho is quite a diva and a troublemaker. He came one day too late after an international game and got banned for the match and fined. Funny Thing is that was not even the first time that happened to him. Also, he does not work for the team sometimes like against Bayern, where he just did not Track back and that is why he got substituted. He will be hard to deal with. I like your point but I disagree because of his playing style. Ziyech is not a typical pure right winger because he is a playmaker that plays on rw, so that is why I don't think that he will lose his insane creativity when he is 30+ years old.He will lose some speed, but he will not lose his dribbling and passing skills. He will at least have 4 World class years and depending how Professional he is; maybe 2 more years(obviously if he does not get any injuries). I would compare that to David Silva, who still is great right now,even though he is at the end of his career. Ziyech is a fast player, but he relies on his dribbling and passing abilities rather than his pace. 60 Million for at least 4 World class years is pretty good these Days. Sancho 120 mio. , who will struggle with Form due to lack of Experience sometimes and he could always leave us for Barcrlona or Madrid After 5 years anyway. With Ziyech, we get an in Form player with Experience. Also, Sancho never played PL either. This is what I am saying for a while now. Some guys here think that Kova Jorgi and Kante is our Perfect midfield. I agree that it is a top class midfield, but it lacks creativity and Offensive Drive. Kante sometimes is our no. 10 and it is good that he offers that, but Kova needs to do more for the offensive Part of the game either by scoring goals or giving Tammy some through balls. I loved our midfield with RLC Jorgi and Kante. Apart from World class creativity, it had everything else. RLC can score goals, bulldoze through the midfield with the ball and is a good dribbler himself. Also, that is my main reason why I want Ziyech because if he plays as a right winger, he would give is so much creativity that we would always be create something. So what would a World class striker changed in that much? Tammy got zero passes played to him and he is no Messi that he receives the ball from very deep and then does his Messi run and scores a solo goal. Tammy did the most he could and he should have gotten an Assist,but Willian did miss his Chance. You know that Costa got millions of Fabrepasses right ? Remember the City vs chelsea match 2014, in which Costa was getting no Fabrepasses. He made Mangala look completely World class. But was Mangala back then World class ? No... Costa received shit passes or no passes and it made Mangala look like a prime Kompany. World class strikers also need World class passes. Aguero, maybe the best striker ever in PL, receives 10 World class passes every match from KDB, Bernardo and David Silva, Gündogan etc. and Aguero still misses a lot of these chances. I just looked at some stats to compare Gaya, Emerson and Chillwell. Emerson is the best tackler and has most interceptions out of the Three.Chillwell has more clearances. Emerson is the better dribbler, while Chillwell has more key passes.Assist wise Chillwell is superior than the other ones and a little bit more keypasses. Chillwell also loses the ball more often than the other two. So it is pretty even. Gaya is the worst compared Two the other. So, is Chillwell really that Good? I just watched a 10 Minute Highlight Video of him and he did not impress me that much. For 60 mio.
