Mourinho has put Traore and Kenedy on while also speaking with them for the entire game since they have come on. Also pretty much only speaking to them at the interval. Seems like he really wants them to do well. And they say he doesn't like youth.

Funny thing people forget is that Mourinho did rate him a lot and loved his talent. However, after that debut only followed terrible performances along with reports of him training badly. Later he moved to Wolfsburg and we got to read that he WANTED to leave because he wasn't a guaranteed starter. He went many times to Mourinho's office for the sole purpose of asking to move. He moved to Wolfsburg and realized some of the massive potential Chelsea saw in him and gave him great loans and coaching to realize. Wolfsburg had a good part in that, but lets not forget the part Chelsea had. Now people are telling me that I think he is a bad player. That is not it at all. I think he is a great player we could use, like he is playing now. He will not have this purple patch of form forever though. Also with reports of lazy attitude I'm reserved to thinking we made that big a mistake. I just don't think he is as good as some here rate him.

You mean the forum for Man City fans? Of course they will say he is awesome! He is their player and I thought we all know how deluded those fans can be. Read their posts about other stuff. Some of the stuff I've read has been Liverpool level deluded and often just plain ridiculous. However, I think its best we just agree to disagree. Only thing I will say though, is just wait until he has an embarrassing game (like every player in the prem does) and lets see how he will be rated then. I didn't see his game against Tottenham but I read that he was quite shit there, so lets see how he will be rated when he has a few of those.

Watch what you say until he has had 1 and a half season (at least!) under his belt. Harry Kane is not lighting the world up right now after having been crazy good last season. I think KdB is good but some people here (mainly people that have the same flag as he does, but I'm not hating on that) act like he is the new Messi after just a few good games.

The Belgian league isn't a strong one, thats why he might have gotten to play. You seem to forget about reports of his bad attitude towards Anderlecht. He is still a tiny and frail player, even though he can do some tricks and good passes from time to time the likes of Alex Song and Yaya Touré would muscle him off the ball without a drop of sweat. In the youth games the players are not as physical as in "real" football and the pressure is much more. If Mourinho and his staff don't think he is good enough to play, that is because he isn't YET. Those guys are professionals and see him nearly every day. They know how good he is, not you. Then he talks about how Chelsea is just a stepping stone towards teams like Barcelona like he has made it already. He doesn't even get a game for the first team!

These are some of the best young defenders in the world at this moment mate. Only Gimenez and Laporte can come to their level IMO. So its not all bad if we had all 3
