DONALD Trump’s campaign team say they are confident in their chances of electoral success as an earthquake and solar eclipse foreshadow great evil coming to the US. After New York was shaken by tremors on Friday and the sun will turn black over great swathes of America today, the Republican nominee’s team have confirmed that these Biblical portents are a clearer sign of upcoming victory than any opinion poll. A campaign spokesman said: “Our next milestone is the plague of locusts we’re anticipating around June, and if we have a rain of blood and hail by mid-August, we’ll know our team is winning round swing voters on the doorstep. “Then we’ll be looking out for great cracks in the earth belching forth fire and brimstone, and hopefully some kind of hideous beast rising from the boiling sea, like Godzilla. People will really get on board with that because they’ve seen it at the movies. “And if a star falls from the heavens and poisons the waters of the earth by the time of the second presidential debate, then there’ll be no doubt. We’ll be expecting a landslide on election day. Literally. San Francisco will be in the sea by lunchtime.”

Fernandes goal hahahaha after a Caecedo like mistake

Caecedo and Nico a yellow away from suspension Sort the fucking defence out today....we have not kept a clean sheet in any of our last 11 Premier League away matches, the worst run on the road since a 12-match sequence between December 2019 and September 2020. We have conceded 50 league goals now, three more than in the entirety of 2023-24. If not just score more than them

Villa have equalised now definitely in our interest for Arsenal to beat Brighton later

Villa 2- 0 up but the Ford have just scored 3 in 8 minutes (must be learning from Palmer)

If Palmer isn't already a household name, the onus is on the household to get with the times. We're looking at a man who could play a defining role in the next decade of English football and beyond. Not many 21 year olds brush aside Man Utd, but Palmer does what he likes. His hat-trick against the Red Devils on Thursday night once again saw him stray into the headlines. Who is this seemingly shy, matter-of-fact chap, and what are his origins? Players like this don't just spawn out of the ether. As a child, Palmer wasn't running around in a Chelsea shirt or a City one - that would've been sacrilege. No, for him, the only shirt he wanted was wreathed with red. A photo from his childhood shows Palmer in one of United's old AON-sponsored jerseys. His idol at that age was Wayne Rooney. He said: 'What a player. When I was growing up I used to watch all the football and the one that sticks in my mind is Rooney. 'Ever since I was a little kid he has been my footballing hero.' Something had to give when Palmer was scouted by Manchester City at the age of eight. Now he was behind enemy lines - but he still found a way to sneak in a tribute to his beloved club. As grandfather Sterry said: 'When he first joined City, he used to wear a United shirt or some sort of United garment under his sky-blue shirt. 'He was a United fan but City offered the better set-up, they had the better training facilities and were able to better nurture his talent. 'The fact that he did support United never held him back, though. When City played against them at junior level, he used to absolutely smash them. 'Ever since he was knee-high, he's been mad keen on football and he'd run rings around the other kids. We knew he was special even back then. 'But he's worked hard, trained hard and just kept at it. But what you've seen from him now, just watch...there's more to come!' Touching family videos show Palmer as a toddler bouncing and picking a ball round Wythenshawe's Hollyhedge Park as well as a couple of blistering goals taken during his schooldays. In an interview in 2022 Palmer told how his first memories were about football. He said of his daily trips to the park with his father: 'We would do that every single day whatever the weather - and my dad's family is from St Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean. He hates going out in the cold. But he'd do it for me anyway.' He also remembered his dad taking him to watch him play for his Sunday League team. He said: 'He used to sit me down on the bag of balls on the sidelines, wrapped in one of his rain jackets. I would just take it all in - the crunching tackles, the shouting, the arguing. 'Dad doesn't play anymore since he done his knee, and I don't really remember any specific games, but he'll tell you how good he was! 'He fixes dental equipment as his real job, but to listen to him you'd think he'd had a 20-year career in the Premier League!'

19 goals and 12 assists Already a better first season than Hazard

Ref was quite good letting it flow, however it's a mystery how Dalot could do 5 blatant fouls on Palmer, bring down Madueke in a 100% goalscoring position and not even get a yellow. Dalot must be the refs nephew or something...

They said that about hispanics and white US citizens, about Catholics and Protestants in Ireland, about South Africa. Where there's a will, there's a fucking way. Its the only solution. There are actors at play on both sides and outside countries that want the death and mistrust to continue. There is money in death, drones and shells that explode on skull impact.

They will have to live together at some point. That is the only solution. Unending supply of US weapons give the Israelis the notion that they can kill indiscriminately, like the horrible kid in the playground bullying others because he has the bigger bully backing him. Israel tortured and killed Palestinians, children a lot of the time, every day before Oct 7th. Hamas wouldnt exist if that was not the case. This is documented by Israeli groups like Breaking The Silence - ex IDF soldiers who are sick of it.

The figures are corroborated by the UN, and World Health. I know you said you worked in Israel, and you said your view is influenced by that, you wouldnt be the first to be hoodwinked/gaslighted. No one is ignoring the Hamas and other groups attack. It is despicable. The important thing is to see it in context. If you call people living in an occupied zone reacting to torture, deaths,-(94% of all deaths were Palestinian before Oct 7th) and daily degradation 'unprovoked' then there is a massive blind spot. Did Netanyahu know the attack was coming ? it was 3 years in the planning stage, there were videos of them disabling dummy tanks and scaling the fences. -or maybe all the hi tech listening and eavesdropping Israel has been supplied with was switched off for 3 years. He has used that as an excuse to murder 32 000 and keep his job temporarily. I agree nothing will change, I have been watching this for 40 years - bottom line Israelis and their neighbours will have to learn to live together at some point - however dont take your eyes off the arms manufacturers, extremists, and right wingers - they don't want it to end.

Last week, the US authorized the transfer of billions of dollars to Israel, including more than 1,800 MK-84 2,000lb bombs and 500 MK-82 500lb bombs. Washington gives $3.8bn in annual military assistance to Israel, its longtime ally
