The 81-year-old presumptive Democratic nominee in the presidential election race is facing mounting pressure to step down over doubts about his mental fitness for the role. i news

Most were swung by social media - I remember the BBC asking youngsters up North why they voted to leave -and lots replied 'Cuz my mate told me to' There were over 1 billion tailored adverts on Social Media individually targeting people with falsehoods - instigated by Dominic ''four years in Moscow'' Cummings. But yes, the second group of old socialists voted leave as they just see the EU as a bigger capitalist club.

Maybe they see sense at last - in white working class areas like Merthyr Tydfil they voted for Brexit in droves 'to stop immigration'. Not the brightest over there

BBC Reality Check has examined Boris Johnson's claim that Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer failed to prosecute Jimmy Savile when he was director of public prosecutions (DPP) and has found no evidence that Sir Keir was never involved at any point in the decision not to charge Savile. -One politician close to Savile, spending every New Years eve with him was Thatcher - old FA Cup head Charles was very matey with him as well

That was said by the Bullingdon boy, Alexander de Pfeffel Boris Johnson - it was fact checked by various organisations and proved Johnson was lying. He must have been, his lips were moving.

Tony Benn nailed it ''All politicians need to be-asked five questions: "What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you?'' Tony Benn

Yup. Any business, the biggest overhead is staff. Unfortunately most bosses want to squeeze as much out of people for as little pay and conditions as possible. Not all , but most. Lived in Long Beach CA back in 90s for a while - I'd never seen such exploitation of Hispanics queueing outside stores and factories hoping for a days work. Unfortunately that Reaganomics transferred to the UK and is prevalent now.

Still hanging around costinga fortune -and on more money than Cole Palmer Chelsea fans have joked a forgotten defender is 'reborn' after his training video went viral on social media. The 25-year-old centre back was signed by the Blues on a five-year contract in 2020 but has failed to make an impact in west London.

We have elections here in UK in two days time. A lot of the tory press, or press as its known, can only resort to scaremongering that Kier Starmer is a massive Socialist threat. 🤣 They really need not worry. Starmer is the only one out of 650 MPs to be inaugurated into the US Trilateral Commission, Jeffrey Epstein was in it too. A neo con organisation advocating less democracy in satellite states. What with that and being endorsed by the Murdoch papers, Hardly socialism.

Yup this sets such a dangerous precedent -Trump in his next term will be emboldened to commit whatever crimes he fancies knowing that he can get away with anything. I genuinely think there could be major riots, maybe civil war. Since the founding of the Republic, the mantra of 'democracy', is now turned on its head. Maybe the US just wants a King now. An untouchable autocrat with tiny hands who lies when his lips move The Dems keeping Biden as the candidate is suicidal. His wife is committing elder abuse. Get someone articulate, feisty, young who can hold up Orange Sex Pest for what he is - and then HE would look as senile and ineffective as Biden. Keeping Biden there is like us having Babayoko up front and Captain whilst losing every match.

BREAKING NEWS Former President Donald Trump's July 11 sentencing for a 34-count conviction in Manhattan could be delayed after the Supreme Court released its decision on presidential immunity. The Manhattan DA's office said it will not oppose delaying sentencing as Trump's lawyers move to file a motion to overturn his hush money verdict. Judge Juan Merchan will make the final decision, but with both parties in agreement, it's more likely that Trump's sentencing date next week will be pushed back. A New York jury unanimously found Trump guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records on May 30 for covering up a payment to porn star Stormy Daniels to keep her quiet before the 2016 election. Reuters The powers that be, the hidden hand, have destined him to be the next president

Trump given immunity from prosecution The justices ruled 6-3 that Trump has immunity from prosecution for official acts that are part of his core consitutional duties as president, and that he has zero immunity for unofficial acts They have sent the special counsel's case back to lower courts to decide what is official and unofficial, but they have also given guidance on the case The three liberal justices dissented, with Justice Sonia Sotomayor writing that under this decision "the President is now a king above the law" Trump sees this as a major victory. So do most court-watchers What a lucky cunt

The populist right continues to grow in Europe and the US...LBGQT and Immigration the main targets, whipped up by mainstream media billionaires Marine Le Pen’s far-right, anti-immigration party is in reach of becoming the biggest political force in the French parliament after a historically high showing in the first round of snap parliament elections. National Rally (RN) has won about 34% of the national vote share, according to exit polls from Ipsos, Ifop, OpinionWay and Elabe. Comprising about 12 million votes, this was a significant increase on its vote share of 18% in the last parliamentary elections in 2022.
