  1. Venables left school in the summer of 1958 and signed for Chelsea as an apprentice at the age of 15. He won the FA Youth Cup with Chelsea in consecutive seasons, as they beat Preston North End in 1960 and Everton in 1961. He made his much anticipated senior debut in a 4–2 defeat to West Ham United on 6 February 1960, with newspapers billing him as "the new Duncan Edwards". He took his FA coaching badges at the age of 24, passing with distinction and a 95% pass mark. He went on to lift the League Cup with Chelsea, and scored a penalty against Leicester City in the two-legged final. Chelsea also reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup in 1964–65 ''1966, Inter Cities Fairs Cup… look it up,' he says. 'We (Chelsea) won the first leg 4-1 at Stamford Bridge. It was a good game for me (Venables scored a hat-trick). They kicked us a lot, we went down to 10 men after Eddie McCreadie punched one of them in retaliation. It was hard out there. They really cranked it up, showered our coach with bricks and bottles. We hid down under our seats'' He went on to manage Barcelona, England Spuds, Palace, Boro and Australia. RIP
  2. EL Tel great manager. Euro 96 what a time to be alive
  3. The main thing is that we continue our run, a team has to score 4 every game
  4. Feel sorry for our fans - its a long way home from up there when youve lost
  5. No goal someone looked at Alison in a funny way
  6. Haaland with another PL record quickest player to 50 goals in the least games
  7. They still print the most reactionary racist shit, most of their 'stories' are pure fiction and scaremongering - not sure about their football 'stories' though
  8. Have to remember the Daily Express is owned by West Ham Porn merchants who made their money out of such luminary tomes as 'Big Tits Monthly' and 'Asian Babes'
  9. He can still play in our set up, for a bit anyway. I think Argentina were very fast. That game was a warzone !
  10. You get the feeling Man City out of all the clubs -possibly Liverpool as well due to the permanent victim status- are untouchable. Agree Everton have been made an example of, probably as a deterrent to others, who will probably go unscathed apart from massive fines.
  11. Agree but where there's blame there's a claim - meanwhile the FA will look at how they can get more money out of it
  12. Kerr with a hat trick the third the cheekiest lob you'll ever see 😄
  13. 1-0 up v PSG lauren James nice ball in for Kerr
  14. Everton could land an additional financial penalty and another 7 point deduction. This comes amid claims that Leicester, Burnley, Leeds and Southampton – all of whom suffered relegation from the Premier League during the time since the investigation against Everton was launched – are banding together to claim for hundreds of millions of pounds in lost revenue. PL is fracturing big time - keep an eye on those six that tried to break away for a 'suoer league', they will feel 'its their time' again
  15. Barcelona icon Dani Alves faces NINE YEARS in prison for 'sexual assault' of woman in VIP area of a nightclub Always was a dirty cunt when he played us
  16. Blimey that's going back a bit Seems the FA is acting like Putin in having 'kompromat' over dozens of clubs and transactions in order to pursue a relentless number of fines and an endless revenue stream
