We should have got Nistleroy for £12 million. Still, time for Shevchenko to come good. -
Lol Bolo Zenden to get a brace. I think they need someone with pedigree, someone proven to get that elusive PL, someone like Allardyce .

Will definitely be flicking between our game and ITV 1 to see Marseille sink Liverpool

We've qualified for the knockout stages, so no real urgency. However, home record needs to be kept intact, and theres a chance for players such as Sidwell to show what they can do.

Grant- Ready To Buy If Quality Is Right
Fulham Broadway replied to Steve's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Like someone said, he must be insecure to keep bigging himself up with subtle putdowns. Interesting to see how much he has prised out of Abramovichs wallet, just hope we dont get an influx of 'promising' Israelis -
Yeah..but what if she was gagging for it, and said, '' hey can you just put on that bit of pipe, luv''. ?

Well apparently it gives the lady extra stimulation, and if you get one that isn't too tight...er... so I've heard

BBC NewsFirefighters helped operate on a man who was rushed to hospital after getting a metal ring stuck on the end of his penis. Doctors at Royal Wigan Infirmary in Greater Manchester put out the alert after fearing the man faced amputation as the ring cut off his blood supply. Two firefighters used a mini hand grinder to cut through the ring during a 20-minute procedure. It is understood the man, aged in his 40s, was given an anaesthetic. The firefighters placed a thin sheet of metal around his penis to protect the skin while removing the ring, which appeared to have been cut off from the end of a pipe. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed fire crews were called to the hospital at around 12.10 GMT on Thursday to "deal with a situation". A spokeswoman for Royal Wigan Infirmary said they were unable to comment about the incident. I reckon it was Steve Bruce -he made this quote the same day -"It was unfortunate it was addressed in the media. It left me in an embarrassing situation and one I'm very disappointed with. ''

Curbs: No Change Under Grant

It's the way forward -*arsenal* and Hansens (in)famous "You dont win anything with youngsters" comments on ManU's early 90's squad -who subsequently went on to win titles and the Treble. Or at least a combination of experience and hungry for success teens/early twenty somethings. -

I dont know why the club doesn't bring in Stoch or Sinclair. At least give them a few run outs. -

I thought Malouda was to be a replacement for the 'creatves' eg Duff and Robben, and to be fair he started off as such. Kalou, I've noticed is definitely in his element when on the left, and with SWP on the right Pizarro could come good when Drogbas out. I can see a forward/attacking midfielder arriving in January. The defence has looked solid but theres been a few times in the last few games when with a combination of luck and opposition fucking it up we've winged it. Like a knife through butter Aroop, you're right again Grants a twat though -
One of the problems with Brazilians, and South Americans is the legthy bureacracy often with the work permits etc. I'm sure Roman can grease a few palms.

Your optimism and postive attitude is commendable Esk. Seriously.Bit of a glass half empty man meself -what I've noticed is we've been exposed at the back, and it hasn't been exploited or found out due to luck, and calibre of opposition so far. -
Blimey, both sound a bit of a liability. Have to take a sack of salt with these Tribal stories as well.

Grant: Theres Life After Mourinhio
Fulham Broadway replied to Aesthetic Relic's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Good post. Before people accuse us of constantly barracking him -I will never warm to him -and will continue to despise his lies and sneaky way he came to manage a love of mine that has outlasted any woman. It grates that he's getting £2 800 000 a year of admission money for pretending he knows what hes doing. The Israeli billionaire Portsmouth owner Gaydemark brought him over from Israel as he was going nowhere in his own country. Once there he started his spying mission, hanging around, laying out the training bibs, and putting out cones for the players to dribble round. Redknapps first impression was one of disdain, saying he didn't know what he was doing or who he was. The players said he just stands around with his arms folded. This view of him later changed, obviously under Gaydemarks instructions, and once Redknapp knew Abramovich was bringing him to Stamford Bridge as ''Director of Football'' , Redknapp was saying ''He's a lovely bloke'' etc (inwardly smiling no doubt) .On the old forum I started a thread as soon as he came to the Bridge, that it was the death nell of Mourinho. And so it was, he watched, plotters plotted, and replacements were mooted for Mourinhos entourage. Basically in my opinion, Abramovich didnt want Mourinho to become Mr Chelsea, and as people and the press have surmised Abramovich wanted a more Roy of the Rovers free goalscoring team for his plaything.People can say ''it's water under the Bridge'' and 'what does it matter if we're winning ?''.Ok, this is because of what he's inherited, and his back up team of professionals. As far as progression, I would say we're standing still at the moment .Life after Mourinho ? I hope so, but this animatronic vegetable is one lifeform Chelsea could quite easily miss. -

Thought their fans did them credit last night 50 000 spurring them on after h/t. Barcodes could have won it towards the end, as the Gooners were on the back foot

Associated Press and Marca (Spanish paper) MADRID, Dec 5: Ronaldinho could be set for a move to Chelsea, according to one of the numerous reports on Wednesday which suggested the embattled Brazilian is finally ready to depart Barcelona. Ronaldinho has fallen out of favour at the Nou Camp this season, especially since his reputation was damaged by highly-publicised reports of his nocturnal party lifestyle. Amid falling sales of his number 10 shirt, a series of substitute appearances and an apparent lack of form, the 2006 Ballon d’Or winner is now on his way to Stamford Bridge, according to Spanish sports daily Marca. Marca said the 27-year-old already holds an offer from the English Premier League side offering him 10 million euros a year.

£136k per week. True, JT and Ballack supposed to be on £130k. Our midfield would be the best Mikel, Lampard, Ronaldhino, Essien. Good dentists in SW6 as well.

Tabloids either constantly mistranslating our players , or casting gay slurs.

First reaction, if true, we're rapidly turning into Romans Globetrotters, but then again hes only 27. One problem I can see is a series of stalled contract re- signs for existing players if hes going to be on that sort of dosh.
