I think the only reason he doesnt is because hes got a really stupid agent. his agent is a bit like Joorachabian (Tevez parasite) who just sees his client as a commodity. Other players agents make sure they have a bit of PR training, say the right things, and would sue the French newspapers who make up Drogbas quotes. There is no loyalty to clubs anymore, thats a bygone era, it's just the other players are told to keep schtum To me Drogba will always be a Chelsea great -up there with Osgood - for the titles and cups - I dont care he was sent off in the CL - it was a quality bitch slap . I dont think fans wouldnt be on his back half as much if he was a white Englishman...

In the light of Chelseas unfortunate recent record it's worth looking at a few stats. No wake up, it's not that boring. The London School of Economics has a bloke called Ignatius Huerta. He has co written a study with some bloke from Barcelona University. They looked at 260 recent shootouts with 2712 kicks. On the face of it, it seems like a lottery, ....but it aint. The team that kicked first won 61% of shootouts. The team kicking first has a 21% greater probability of winning the tournament. Given that, it was weird watching Ferdinand win the toss, and then contemplate whether to go first or second for about a minute ! Also they discovered the first and last penalties were more important to be scored than the second or third kicks. It therefore makes sense to have your best kickers take the first and fifth. They also discovered that players have just as much chance of scoring with their best foot than their other one. London School of Economics

''How can we create another Chelsea story ?'' Quelle bollocks. Mourinhos gone and the most bitter time was the arrival of the fraudulent Average Cunt straight after. Now Scolaris here, everything will be rosy, especially if he manages to punch Ferguson.

Instead of the FA scrutinising another players bland autobiography for incriminating evidence, they should do something worthwhile like banning the psychopath scouse coward Barton

Lol thats quite funny. Chelsea have ruined football, are responsible for the 'credit crunch', and have created that smog in Bejing as well -
Madrid will definitely want to blag more cash out of moneybags Chelsea. The best thing is that the longer Scolari is at Chelsea , the more he is a prize draw in terms of attracting Brazilians and Portugeezers.
-
Doubtless Madrid will come back and say they want more -the figure will probably settle @23-24 million., but this probably wont be concluded for a while yet I feel. He was benched first four months of 2006-07 season. Scored 11 last season, but I've a feeling Scolari will get the best out of him.....
-
Looks like he will be playing at SW 6 soon. Not that an impressive record at Real - fell out withCapello and Schuster hasnt utilised him to his best. Absolutely phenomenal with his Brazilian club teams, and I reckon Scolari will revitalise that. My doubts would only centre round the almost certainty that he'll be injured quite a few times....

I like the Womens Beach Volley ball. It's in the Wan King district of Bejing I hear...

Not even friendlies now -maybe the club thought they'd be in the Charity Shield. I've played a couple of rounds of golf, playstation, even cleaned the car. What have other people been doing to relieve the pre seasonal tension ?
-
Even pulling the shirt over the head and doing the 'aeroplane' seems to have gone now. I blame Sky -is it any coincidence that before they obtained Premiership screening rights, their biggest sport was ..wrestling. Where farcical steroid blokes do that screaming at each other thing ? Noticed Beckham does it as well, yeah very butch, and Rooney in that Nike advert where hes daubed with red paint looks like some demented pikey serial killer. But I'm sure Coleen sees that expression a lot....

Like some of the comments below; iamtheggman9 - 'Glasgow' isn't a team. Rangers play bad and riot. Celtic play good and don't riot. That is the difference.

Well we need one if we go to Belgium, France, Germany etc -so I assume visa versa applies -
Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that he will remain a homosexual for "at least one more year". The 23-year-old Portugal whinger had frequently expressed his desire for Spanish men and women this summer. But he told Portuguese paper Publico: "Manager Sir Alex Ferguson heard my arguments, I heard his and it was felt the best thing would be for me to stay gay. "I can confirm that next season I will play for ''the other side." Ferguson, speaking after the club's goalless friendly with Juventus on Wednesday, said he was "pleased" Ronaldo was ''still smelling of lavender''. And Ferguson gave a revealing insight into how he dealt with the Ronaldo sexuality saga, which resulted in two months of frenzied speculation over whether the player was a shirt lifter. "I flew to Portugal some weeks ago and we cleared the air and he spoke to some of the players," Ferguson told MUTV. "The boy has been through a troubled time in terms of the approaches from women, but once he knew my stance, he then settled down. "The fans have got to understand; it's very difficult when a young boy is tempted by all sorts of holes''. "We can put this to bed now. It's finished and the boy is a homosexual for one more year and that's the most important thing."

I'm with him on this. The league is totally within reach this year, and I'm confident. Not so sure about the CL though -always a lottery. Full interview on Chels TV tonight....

Chelsea's John Terry vows revenge on Man United and Mourinho John Terry last night vowed revenge on Manchester United and told former boss Jose Mourinho: "We're coming to get you, too."Chelsea skipper Terry saw his dream of leading the Blues to a Premier League and Champions League double end in tears in May as Sir Alex Ferguson's men snatched both trophies from his grasp. And as Terry prepared to skipper new boss Luiz Felipe Scolari's side in their bid to get back to winning silverware, the England centre-half pledged to put the record straight - and admitted he is already thinking of helping smash Mourinho's Inter Milan. "We've had talks amongst ourselves and the Premier League is the one we're after, we want to get that back. "Last year I think we saw the very best of Manchester United. But we have got an awful lot to come from last year. "United have been at their peak and we have got improvements to make," Terry told Chelsea TV. While Chelsea - for the first time - and Inter are both seeded in the initial group phase of the Champions League, Terry suggested it was inevitable that Scolari's side will be travelling for a showdown with Mourinho. He added: "The lads are saying now we'll get Inter in the Champions League this year at some point and you know we probably will. "Coming away without a trophy was very disappointing but I saw something off the field, a togetherness that I've never seen amongst a group of players. "That's taken us to another level of us being closer, after being able to do what we did, to get where we got last year, with all the changes Reuters

T The good thing about Euro 2008 was there were 'normal' happy celebrations. Looking back at last years Prem highlights, nearly all the celebrations were 'I'm angry, and I've just Come' type faces. Not just the effete Portuguese poof, even JT and almost every player had the... Bad Porn Actor Sex Face. Come on lets get back to happy celebrations, and vary them for fucks sake. Robbie Fowler pretending to snort the touch line, Gazzas dentist chair etc brilliant. Cheer up you miserable rich fuckers....

Well he did say he was a ''Manc for Life'' when at Man Utd. The archetypal spiv. If he was in the war he'd be selling black market ration books and grassing up people to the nazis. Probably. -
If you were in Bejing what would be your chosen event. I was excellent, although I say it myself at discus at school. Remember throwing it out the field into a load of cars. My boss though, said I'd be good at the Wankathon. I said to her she could be in the Sumo Super Weights, or anything with obese women.

Profound post Steve. It puts all the other pet hates and dislikes people have talked about in perspective and how we take things for granted.
