To be fair I expect several have come under the radar, not just what the media report......

Just looked at this thread. Absolutely mental -how many posts on some wishful thinking ?? I know Abramovichs agent has been watching the lad in Peru, but hes also been looking at several other players as well.....

Bringing optimism back to TalkChelsea
Fulham Broadway replied to LDN Blue's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
All good positive points -and I'm glad someone, LDN Blue, can see sense. However if the football continues to be shit, I am quite prepared to make the streets round Stamford Bridge a no go area for away fans again. it would be a joy to hear the old classics sung ''You;ll Never make the Station'' and ''Its a Long Way to Fulham Broadway'' and the Golden oldie ''You're Going to get You're Fucking head kicked In'' Guess i'm on my own..... -

Giving him that Madame Tussauds reject Emanalo hasnt helpled..... -
Still looks like a ladyboy

Sure is a nice guy. The antithesis of Mourinho or Ferguson however. Never challenges the footballing authorities, or referees decisions, Never plays any mind games. I'm thinking winning managers need a ruthless, almost nasty streak, and vehement defence of their players and last season as with Grant he inherited the Rolls Royce......

Changing of the Guard? Start the young bloods CArlo!
Fulham Broadway replied to Jose M's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Hansen made the comment abount Man utd. They went on to win 13 of the next 16 Championships Yup totally devoid of tactics at some points. Like having 5 mikels on the pitch. -

Changing of the Guard? Start the young bloods CArlo!
Fulham Broadway replied to Jose M's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Not just fresh ideas -a more disciplined approach -whether that involves more training and finishing is debatable. Motivation is suspect as well..... -
He really gave the proverbial 110%. Lets hope it continues........

First touch fucking woeful last night...and his detractors having a right bubble about it. He's going to punish them in return matches I feel sure.......

Changing of the Guard? Start the young bloods CArlo!
Fulham Broadway replied to Jose M's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
It all depends how you look at results ie negatively or positively. What has been lacking is any sense of urgency or 3-4 whole pitch counter attacking passes in seconds replaced with a plodding build up. -
Changing of the Guard? Start the young bloods CArlo!
Fulham Broadway replied to Jose M's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
This is true. The club as always though seem hellbent on buying the 'finished article' . Ramires must think hes playing with a bunch of lazy cunts. So many of the old guard have become sloppy round the edges, and a manager with more discipline -Ferguson, Mourinho, Coyle, Moyes wouldnt have that talent being half arsed. What a waste All these negative posts and losing 6 point though has also to be down to two cuntish refs denying us penalties in the last two games PS. Malouda needs to get his haircut, it's slowing him down -
Out of those I can see Yids and Man city being the hardest. We have a good record against United and we're back to Chelsea the Unpredictable. Just as likely to play blinders against them as lose 0-3 to Sunderland, Couple of Ramires wild shots to fly in the top corner........
-
Lol like the optimism -yup you're right mental atmosphere as always at Fulham As far as Torres is concerned. Utilisation is the key and there appeasr to be a lack of foresight. We should not be starting him, he should be coming off the bench to exploit tired defences, and it wouldn't cause so much pressure for him to have that immediate performance expectation. But he'll come good......
-
Benayoun lunching it for the rest of the season. Zhirkov should be back in a few games time What has become apparent this season is that there are very few givens in the games. (apart from United being as spawny as fuck as usual)
-
I'm not as gloomy as that. Against United I feel we'll get points from them. But the Yids do seem to have an easy run in. LND Blue is right about fans being spoiled by constant winning. What really fucks me off is, and its not his fault, is the probable lack of bollocking going on in the dressing room. Since Mourinho from Useless Grant to Ancellotti, I cant see any manager taking the players to task. and riling their egos by dropping them or radical substitutions. Can you imagine Ferguson or Mourinho or even Coyle or Moyes letting players get away with half arsed contributions when they're so talented ?
-
Carvalho. Terry, Droy, LeBouef, Luis, Ashley Cole, Desailly, Gallas, Ron Harris, These polls are quite difficult. The pace and style of football has constantly evolved. The budget available to the club is probably 10 fold to what it was in the 60s and 70s. So theres no level playing field on which to compare players..... eg Ron Harris wouldnt have the stamina to compete in the Prem, and even if he did he'd be sent off most games. Lets not forget the one and only Dave Webb - FA cup winning goal 1970 , played a whole match in goal, and scored a hatrick as a centre forward. Hows that for versatility ???
-
Yes looks like we'll be playing catch up with them -their next 3 against Holloway, Wolves and West ham they could quite easily get 9 points.....think a lot will depend on how they get on tonight against AC
-
I think that we would attract the right sort of players. Players who'd have seen teh Chelsea of 2005 + attain cups and want to be part of the new vanguard. You wouldnt have the £50m signings feeling overawed with expectation. Channel 5 could be a transitional period of rebuild, but hopefully wont come to that.....
-
Good points there Clevermeyer. Ancellotti, in fairness, has also be greatly undermined by the removal of Ray Wilkins and the appointment of the apparently useless Emanalo......
-
Hope so Tomo. Worst comes to the worst -there'll be some interesting games in far flung places, and it'll sort the egos out from the diehards
-
Despite what Adam faith said on his death bed, it's not that bad Colin Murray is quite good ..er.. Its better coverage than ITV. ( now that is true) And hey ! The Europa league is an exciting competition -away games in Slovakia against Dynamo Noone on wet Thursdays etc. What am I saying ? -well the Yids playing next week can go four points clear of us,so........how do peeps feel about challenging the Europa League next season ? Might be a reality................

Cech penalty saves spares Blues blushes
Fulham Broadway replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Chelsea Articles
Good report BL Thats what I like a glass half full man Lets not forget lady luck playing her shitty cards. Nailed on penalties we should have had not just last night but against the murderers as well......Dont know why Mike Dean didnt see last nights..
