Well I think strong to Scolari , is the core of Mourinhos team. Dropping Drogba will not solve the problem, it will just piss him off more, probably. Drogba with Anelka and Joe Cole behind would do the business, but it seems that Scolari taps into what the fans are saying, and implements it a week later... Am looking forward to ITVs gloating, David Pleat bleating about Davd and Goliath ballacks, minnows, shrimps, etc
-
I'm going to disagree with Esk just because of you two sycophants Might not be a risk for CFC, but Scolari wont want to take any chances, and will field a strong team. Ironically if he fucks up, the boot gets closer, and we might as well have Phil Jupitus in charge.
-
Drogba is a tart striker just like Dixon, Osgood, was. OK his attitude is Greta Garbo, but to be fair to the bloke he got shit service on Sunday, and for Scolari to make him the scapegoat is an elastoplast on a ruptured artery. Scolari seems to pander to what ever the fan zeitgeist is a few days or a week later. Work on set pieces, sub Deco, drop Drogba. Stable door, horse bolted. Weak management imo

That was legitimate against the Catalan cnuts. The Beetroot Glaswegians lackeys shouldnt be allowed to pick on young Di Santo
-
Di Santo should definitely be given a few more airings, before Kenyon sanctions the purchase of another 30 + year old striker...
-
A win might delay any wholesale changes required, if we lose with the strong(est) 11, it could be a blessing in disguise, with a fundamental seachange..... ..plus Saarfffend are 12/1 , worth a small punt

I think they're on about switching from zonal to man marking ? With the third goal, zonal or man marking wouldnt have helped. On the TV replay you can see Vidic and Berbatov conspiring. I've seen Manutd do it before, Vidic impedes the marker (Di Santo) leaving Berbatov marker free, with a near post strike.
-
Players on the posts ? Set piece marking ?? Hungry new players ?? Dont be silly. E mail from the club; We are sending this email to all our supporters to make them aware of a major issue we have at Stamford Bridge. Persistent standing in certain sections of the ground is significantly increasing the likelihood of the football and safety licensing authorities taking action against Chelsea FC. We cannot allow this to happen. Standing is not allowed at football matches and unfortunately the situation is getting to the stage that offenders are liable to be ejected from the stadium. We understand that at times of action and excitement spectators will stand and this is accepted. Not all spectators like to stand and some are unable to stand, therefore persistent standing not only puts the club in jeopardy, it spoils the experience for other spectators. Please refrain from persistent standing or your season ticket is liable to be suspended without further warning. Thank you for your co-operation. Safety and Security Chelsea FC

Its speculation but I would say all the cost cutting, lack of the players player in Clarke missing, Scolaris pigeon English, and Ray ''I'd rather be talking to the media'' Wilkins who is hardly inspiring, has led to the sluggishness. As Mr Mourinho said, ''you get low grade eggs, it gives you a low grade omelette''...... Still should be a proper Chels atmosphere like most aways.....
-
Can see 1-3 win on the cards, and the rot patched up for another week. But you're right they seem pretty lethargic and low on confidence atm...
-
Refs at Anfield are generally intimidated, but none of the redshite have got away with stuff the way Ferguson and Gill have. All through the 90s and this century, there would always be a minmum of 5 extra minutes at Old Trafford were they losing or drawing. You can count on one hand the number of penalties given to the opposition at Old Trafford, and there would be the same number of referees that Ferguson hadnt bum bothered down the tunnel at half time. Not to mention disciplinary hearings that were either thrown out, or found in favour of United.
-
I never go for that hero/shirt wearing worship thing. Its CFC for me. But he can be the spine of the team, albeit with some erratic performances recently....
-
Reckon refs are scared of him and Ferguson. And fair play to Rafa, he'll get fined doubtless, but he's only saying what half the people in football think.....

Why we Lost at the Theatre of Shit ?

Questions, questions.. What the fuck was he doing lighting up a Havana at that time ? Must have been on the Mutu all night. What the fuck is Kenyon thinking letting them stay in a shitty hotel in Manc land ?? -
It's true but we have to deal with what we have. Unfortunately their appears , as under Grant little in the way of a motivator. At least Grant could take credit for what Clarke was acheiving...now we dont even have Clarke. On a separate issue , and it's not just sour grapes, how the fuck does Rooney get away with his antics. Refs seem scared of him, and Benitez was quite right , for once , about how Ferguson influences refs. Edit; Rafas gone off on one today about Man Utd s David Gill and his influence at the FA. Fair play to him.

Some of the first team definitely needs weeding out and yougsters brought through...

Hand of God ? ...or bloated fat Argie

http://www.talkchelsea.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=3362 I dont think anyone can hold their head high after yesterday - if anyone for me Mikel and Ashley Cole played well. Why did Terry duck for Rooneys goal ? But the general malaise is because of a lack of togetherness, motivation and desire imo.
-
I think hes too soft headed. Hes been told, doubtles that he cant buy, but hes making out he doesnt need to because Buck, Kenyon etc have told him. In his defence, he was snubbed anyone after the Robinho debarcle. Robinho is someone he definitely wanted, a player that could have made all the difference, ........especially yesterday
-
Lol wouldnt be surprised if Kenyon jumped ship. Well it affects some people . But whether you've 14 000 million pounds or 7 000 million pounds it shouldnt make too much difference. The cost cutting obviously is selective -Pini Zahavi the Israeli agent, was paid £900 000 by CFC for the sale of Bridge to Man City. (Mirror, Telegraph) Disgraceful in my book.

Chelsea ditch expensive foreign kids

Dont know what the source is but it sounds a bit made up. 20 England Youth internationals sounds a lot. and player fined for wearing hats ? How are there never any piss taking articles about Man Utd ? -
Tick tock. Hes on his way. I can mark the spot when the rot set in. It was when Ben Haim etc was foisted upon the team. Mourinho knew he was on his way shortly after that. The interference was plain to see. Scolari might have won the World Cup with Brazil, but my dead cat could have won the World Cup with that Brazilian team, even Grant could have won the World Cup with that Brazilian team.......
-
Its hard not to be negative when you're witnessing the implosion of a great team slowly being dismantled. The management isnt right, there is no hunger desire of cohesive effort. We have some great players , are second, and through to the next round of the CL. Will probably batter Southend on Wednesday as well. What is frustrating is the knowledge that these great players can produce a lot better ....and the worst thing is Yernited werent that good.

Someone should tell him not to try stepovers with the pedals Sadly Unhurt
