DARREN FLETCHER ACCEPTS ACTUAL RULES OF FOOTBALL AS his one match European ban was upheld, Darren Fletcher has accepted that the laws of football apply to him. Tevez has been linked with a move to BlackburnThe Manchester United midfielder had insisted that he won the ball from Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas, even though his legs were wrapped around his opponent's like a scene from the homoerotic edition of the Kama Sutra. He said last night: "UEFA insist that is a red card and a ban. Darren Fletcher, in his infinite grace and forgiveness, will therefore allow this to happen." Man Utd coach Sir Alex Ferguson praised Fletcher's beatific calm at accepting the disciplinary measures set down in the long-established rules of the sport. Insisting the Scottish international was setting a 'great example' he added: "If Barcelona score more goals than us in the final and UEFA decide to award them the trophy, then I suppose we will just have to accept that too. "Or at least until we can hire some lawyers to have the rules changed." Meanwhile the club's Argentine star Carlos Tevez has signalled his desire to leave at the end of the season. Ferguson has restricted Tevez's appearances in recent months, claiming that whenever he sees him charging down the wing, 'it's like one of those dirty great Orcs from Lord of the Rings coming at you in 3D'. Tevez said: "The eight-bedroom mansion, the vast wages, the personal assistant cupping my balls when it's chilly - all of this says I am not welcome here." He added that he will not even consider talks with the club until a 600ft statue of Sir Matt Busby giving birth to him has been erected in the car park of the Arndale Centre.

Like I say, I think the spirit in the squad has never been better in recent years, and if this season has not gone as expected, its because the players didnt respect Scolari. All we need is for Hiddink to stay , or have a good manager next that the squad respect -to me that would mean letting them have a say in who Abramovich appoints.

You'd never think we destroyed the Arse onSunday 1-4 judging by the reporting.. All the media seem to focus on is how Arsenal are lacking and how they can improve, ignoring a sublime Chelsea performance, and rasenals biggest home smashing since 1977.
-
Good report as ever BL. I really feel we could have beaten any one today....
-
The spirit in the team right at this moment is probably the strongest it's been for years, definitely since Mourinho. Either one of those pikey outfits in Rome later this month, we'd beat off the park (ref/UEFA permitting). Too right chief -losing away to cardiff on a wet Tuesday etc etc. Ally McCleod (RIP) Still remember like yesterday his explanation for Scotlands exit ''Football's strange''. Priceless.

All good points and I noticed the same. Initially there was widespread critism of the Norwegian Parrott and a bit about Ballack and Drogba losing it. Now its all ''Chelsea Out of Control'' bollocks. The club have obviously made Drogba and Boswinga make conciliatory statements, apologising for their behaviour. Come on now we cant have any passion in the game, even when you've been clearly robbed of one the biggest tournamnts can we ? Now this morning its all ''Chelsea will receive sanctions'' ''Drogba will be forced out' ' and '' Roman Furious at Drogba'' What a load of old shit. I bet you Abramovich greatly sympathised with the lads, and was just as angry. With all the attention on Chelsea and the poor ref a victim -is it any wonder refereeing standards decline ? PS I notice an MEP in Yorkshire is taking UEFA to court for the Milan Leeds 1973 Final. Milan won 1-0. The ref is alleged to have taken a bung, and Leeds were denied 3 Clear penalties!
-
..was speaking at the Downs School nr Wraxhall last night. He said he knew for a fact that Tom Henning was wined and dined by Platini last week. Whether this adds to teh conspiracy theory or not I dont know. Is it normal practice for a ref to be entertained by Platini ?
-
Getting shite jokes in work , though I cracked a smile at ''I put Chelsea in the Sat Nav, and it came up 'Two minutes from Rome'.

The single worst refereeing performance of all time
Fulham Broadway replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
He definitely spouts a lot of anti Chelsea bile when he can. Remember when he kept saying Terry wasnt fit to be England captain ?? Moralising this morning about Ballack, Drogba, Cech this morning about how disgraceful their behaviour was..... -

Henning doesnt actually exist it was Poll refereeing with a bald wig on -
Most of the Frisk threats were worded ''You're going to die'' which is a bit like saying the sun will come up tomorrow.

Uefa won't punish ref Ovrebo claims Poll
Fulham Broadway replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Poll was on BBC, Radio 5 , Setanta giving his 'views' this morning. Probably be on The One Show tonight. We always said when he used to brown nose up to Henry, Ferguson etc that he craved the 'Celeb' status. ''I'm a Big Cunt Get Me Out of Here'' -
Just pre empting any threats that might occur. The press are hoping that there will be. Might just oblige them , for old times sake.....

Whats gonna happen next year?
Fulham Broadway replied to warnie_666's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
There have been stitch ups and there has been inability to take advantage -(eg last night in the first half , Drogbas two one on ones with the keeper), and there has been bad luck- (eg Terrys slip last year.) Last night I had a feeling at half time those first half chances which led to the inability to make it at least 2-0 would come back to bite us on the bum, along with Drogba and Lampards injuries, which added to the injury time. -
I'm with Drogba 100%. To suddenly turn on Rupert Murdochs SKY camera, and enter the living rooms of millions of people througout the World was genius. If only he'd called Platini and UEFA cheating cunts as well......

They'll do it again just to fuck us off..... -
Thats the bottom line , the millions at stake. I dont think there was a conspiracy, just a completely inept ref and theres still this anti Chelsea, New Kids on the Block general dislike since Mourinho Lets be honest if that had been at Old Trafford ManUtd would have had at least TWO clear penalties. They say football would lose a lot of its passion if they had video technology decisions after a pause in the game. Last night we had the opposite -and to certain extent in the Arse Manutd game- Fletcher should not have been sent off. Last night though almost every decision was wrong Totally Hapless

Liverpool in the semis, go out to some dodgy decision...... -
2 goals preferably ! They will be off to a flyer as well I suspect. On Platini did you see him checking out that girls arse in the first leg ? Ruud Gullit is right about the first leg........ “It has nothing to do with 'anti-football', it has to do with surviving. It would have been better to have played like Real Madrid? That's ridiculous. Why should you do exactly what Barcelona want? You want to do something different that they can't cope with. I compare it with the biggest moment in sport, Muhammad Ali in Africa.” “The best fighter ever had a totally different strategy to normal, just defence, defence - and won the fight. If the greatest boxer can do that and be great because of that, why should Chelsea just collaborate with a spanking? It's ridiculous. Therefore their tactics were spot-on."
-
I think the refs Mr Herring from Norway -never reffed Chelsea but one month ago, he umpired a game that ended 5-2 against Lyon. He demonstrated the kind of neutrality for which Barcelona are hoping by showing 6 yellow cards to Lyon and one to Barcelona (Thierry Henry), sending of Lyon`s Juninho in the91st minute.
