Source ? If its goal.com might as well read The lion witch and Wardrobe. The weekly money Joorachabian wants would destabilise the squad, so would take this speculation with a massive dose of salt

Most played well -but JT head and shoulders, back to his best.....
-
Agree. Theres a reason he is still at the Champions -he is an excellent, not the best, but more than competent right back. Optimistic about this -3-1 -its the game our season gets back on track.......
-
Its tax free. His agents have him registered abroad. One of the best around, but he will never come here.
-
Apart from the penalty miss and Anelkas dip in form thought it was a good performance although according to sky and the press 'our dreadful form continues' Draw and loads of injuries tonight please.....
-
:goodpost: Be a good confident booster if he can. Rumour has it that we're going to play our strongest side which will be interesting if true........

Could Qatari owners at other clubs threaten us?

Alright if none of our players ever come out -or they could get 5 years in the nick over there, but it does seem as with Man City some of the arabs have more dosh than the jews and willing to spend it. So much for Blatters homosexual 'inclusivity' that FIFA bang on about. He probably would have had the World Cup in South Africa even with Aparteid still there if the money had been right -
Chelsea end needs to be vocal and going mental . Its a similar situation to the draw at Blackbum last year when all seemed lost . Come on Chels -win this and keep the momentum going..!!

Alan Pardew set to be the next manager. Step backwards for already mediocre club....
-
Likewise Zyes. Disgusting. He might have broken silence, but theres no explanation, and to be honest I doubt if there ever will be. He would have got a fat brown envelope the other week, and signed a non-disclosure form of some sort ala Mourinho.

Heard hes celebrating by banging 30 team mates wags

Why our winning days are gone

This Henrique fella -is he Chelsea or an agent provocateur ? OK under investment is what I see as the problem. Abramovich, like the government is trying to get the same results on the cheap. The 'youth' havent responded and been the calibre as we would have liked or indeed required. It is unfortunate that Benayoun is injured -along with the ' spine' being out ( -JT and Lampard) and the banishing of Ray Wilkins. The injuries(and thank fuck Cechs wasnt worse) have highlighted the frailties and shallowness of the squad. I dont know whether Abramovich has been splashing the cash on FIFA officials, or wants his Chelsea child to walk unaided now. Could be a bit of both. Whatever the reasons i hope this is a blip we are going through -form is temporary etc- and we can turn it around against the Yids, Arsenal and Yernited.Unless there is a steadying of nerves within the starting 11 against the yids and a result to match, Gareth Bale is going to have the time of his life, and the two redscum teams will be very confident. -
Alright BB hows tricks ? Nothing against the midlander, good player , (bit economical with the truth there to say every time he starts he scores) , but having watched objectively he's not the calibre to be a regular starter if more doubles and a CL win is what the board want. Eight , ten years ago when I and many others were happy for CFC to finish top half of the table -the Shed would have worshipped him. Now when there are expectations soo high -mainly from the board, owner, and the legions of 'fans' that have joined since 2004/5 season he is not the finished article required for Romans Roubles. That is what I think.
-
Mmm. Was this in January 2009 , because he was gone by February ? Scolaris sour grapes by the sound of it. Yes it is about opinions -given the chance I would play neither Kalou or Sturridge, but out the two Kalou is the better.

Blues thwarted at the death by resilient Toffees
Fulham Broadway replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Chelsea Articles
Good report there BL. MOM for me was the one and only Mr Terry head and shoulders above everyone -his positioning, commitment, leadership.impeccable..... -
Sturridge will be gone next season -simply not good enough in my opinion, and I would have a lot more confidence in Kalou scoring than Sturridge at the moment.
-
Kalou is frustrating for his finishing - should be the Prem top scorer with 15-20 goals -as it is only 7, different to a liabilty. But all are firing blanks atm - Drogba Anelka Malouda there is someting fundamentally not right...
-
Possibly -but we cant afford a liability at this level. I've watched him since we got him from Man City and to me hes had ample opportunities -I never think hes going to change a game when he comes on - good player but not, as you say, yet. Wheter thats down to experience, I tend to think hes not talented enough.
-
Its odd how perceptions of a player can vary -thought Anelka was good, and Ramires right to come on, but more sense to take off Kalou....
-
I think hes a good player but not good enough for Chelsea -his awareness, first touch, and finishing weaknesses are exposed too often...

Why our winning days are gone
Fulham Broadway replied to BLionheart's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
As people have said the squad was depleted in the Summer and the quality hasnt been replaced -just a vacuum with the possible exception of Mcechran (though I'm yet to be convinced hes starting material, though it seems to be a cardinal sin to say hes not up to it). Jury still out on Ramires -my gut feeling is that he will be good, Van Aanholt possibly, Sturridge , No. Ok Abramovich might have been a bit prepossessed recently with ensuring Russia get 2018 but whats the point of a billionaire running a solvent club if hes not going to replenish the squad ....... -
Said all along -not good enough -West Ham type of player.....
